DALLAS -- HDNet Fights today announced their Mixed Martial Arts broadcast schedule for this Friday and Saturday, January 23 and 24, airing on HDNet. HDNet will kick off two days of coverage on Friday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. ET with a special edition of "Inside MMA" broadcast LIVE from the "Affliction: Day of Reckoning" weigh-ins at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
The special LIVE "Inside MMA" will be followed by the television premiere of "Affliction: Banned" featuring the July 19th match-up between Fedor Emelianenko and Tim Sylvia. "Affliction: Banned" airs on HDNet on Friday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, January 24, HDNet will broadcast the live under card for "Affliction: Day of Reckoning" featuring Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Vladimir Matyushenko, Jay Hieron vs. Jason High, L.C. Davis vs. Bao Quach, Antonio Duarte vs. Albert Rios, and Brett Cooper vs. Patrick Speight.
Live action for the under card kicks off Saturday, January 24 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
HDNet Fights announced a long-term partnership with Affliction Entertainment late last year. The agreement allows HDNet Fights to air live MMA events exclusively in North America on HDNet. These live events, featuring the top Mixed Martial Arts fighters from around the world, will be broadcast on HDNet as a lead-in to Affliction's Pay Per View Events.

Is there a list of bars showing this event like there was for the last Affliction event? I haven’t been able to find one!

Cool, I’m glad they’re showing the undercard on HDNet. It will give me a chance to see if they’ve stepped up their production or not without having to endure the PPV. It think its a mistake but its cool none-the-less.
They should cram the undercard fights into the live part instead of having some lame band play.

i am glad your giving them a try, i think you won’t be dissappointed i love hdnet playing the undercard that would be cool if the ufc and spike could work something out like that.

That would be a smart idea. It would give them a few extra hours to pimp their PPV while showing actual live fights.

they might do that sometime in 09 but i think if they did that fighters would want some more “tv” money and we all know the ufc dont do more money

This is 1 good thing they are doing. I wish Spike would show the UFC weigh-ins and the undercard fights.
I have also never understood why the UFC PPV is only 3 hours. They could even show the undercard there. On Direct TV it is the only thing on that channel for weeks, it’s not like something else is scheduled after or before the PPV.

monnnnneeeeeeyyyyyyyy
boils down to is them buying a 3 hour time slot or 5 and they know they can cram in there fights in the 3 hour slot so why spend extra money on there own end?

If you don’t get HDNet with your provider you can go to HDNet’s website and hit the tab that says where to watch. Put your area and provider. Then they follow the instructions and they will send a lett for you. This is the best channel ever.

Ok this is too funny. I am watching this live weigh in on ESPN,,, this is the most unorganized LOW bidget thing I have ever seen. There is 5 minutes in between guys weighing in, the stage is setup all crazy. Tom Anasio or whatever his name is like saying hey you go here, you go here,, setting them up for pics and stuff,, its soo funny. The UFC is MILES ahead of them. Oh and they are weighing on some scale I think I have in my house.
