where is episode 4?

This was the worst video blog entry by far. Probaly has to do with the fact that he’s in an entirely different country. Doesn’t know where to go or know many people in those parts. So the only videos that are going to be intriguing are probably the ones that involve the fighters on the card.

First: The Pocket Rocket is a pretty tough name.
Second: No it isn’t. It’s actually pretty gay, not there is anything wrong with that.
Third: That ultra feminine emo fake magician Criss Angel couldn’t pull of a trick like that- it doesnt involve video editing.
Fourth: This episode sucked balls.

It was great to see Dana have the discussion about boxing. He was respectful and spoke pretty intelligently about the topics. I think sometimes he gets wound up and goes over the top with some issues. If he could talk like that (intelligently and respectfully) to more people, I think that would help the UFC make even more progress, but that’s just my opinion. I think he has done a great job making the UFC the center of the MMA universe.

I love the blogs because it really gives insight into all the behind the scenes stuff with the fighters, the organization and Dana in general. The guy seems to have a great life, just goofing around and working hard at what he loves. Let’s hope for more continued growth and success for the UFC and MMA in ’09!

Just as well Dana was respectful because the McGuigan hates mma. He was a world champ back in his day plus he said something like “that stuff that goes on in cages is $hite” awhile back. He is pretty vocal about his distaste for mma.

Side note, McGuigan also KO’ed a guy who ended up in a coma and died. Kind of makes mma sound less barbaric I think.

interviews, traveling, calling the shots.. his job is almost like being a manager for a European football club

I really have to assume Dana was wasted during that whole “reviewing the tape” thing.

He’s extra loud, and a little goofy.

He’s like that all the time man, you havent noticed?

93 Blog is the worst so far

by Lester the Pimp on Jan 15, 2009 5:37 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Awful…..really bad blog.

Usually the behind the scenes info, seeing the fighters doing the PR work, etc. are pretty interesting.

Watching a guy sleep, a conversation with a former boxer that I had a hard time hearing, and watching the super slo-mo analysis of a guy pulling $ out of his wallet was pretty bad.

I guess thats what happens when he had to put a blo together each day….oh well, I will still watch the next few blogs.

Well if you look at UFC93 and the fact that UFC 94 is going to be huge, this one is almost like an the step child. Plus, they are over in the UK and Ireland, so I think that is why this one is a bit different too. They aren’t doing the same media blitz, just wait until the blog for UFC94.

by sawyer1370 on Jan 15, 2009 6:35 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

that was the funniest shit I have seen in a while. he puts his boy on blast, while he is going over it like a play by play. just seems like something I would do. And its obviously not about the 7 dollars, when u make bets like that its all pride not money.

by Riskreturngroup on Jan 15, 2009 9:25 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

did anyone else notice that the guy wasn’t sleeping, right after he turns the camera back at him, you see him closing his eyes again.

by DJ D3NN on Jan 15, 2009 9:26 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

This was seriously a wast of time, it had nothing to do with the UFC

by CITY BOXER on Jan 15, 2009 10:32 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

This was the most boring episode ever.

by halljam2 on Jan 15, 2009 10:51 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Funny (and telling) that the guy who does Dana’s video blogs was sleeping in the beginning of that one.

Poor guy probably had to watch that boring video more than once….it would put me to sleep too.

The more I watch Dana’s Blog’s the more I respect him as a person and an owner. As the owner of UFC his doesn’t hide shi# and he loves MMA. Just imagine you and your MMA loving buddies just invested in MMA and turned MMA into the largest growing sport? Top it all off you can act yourself…I’m Jealous. Dana didn’t hide the fact in this blog that the BS boxing matches going on are what’s killing the sport of boxing. That’s exactly why he will not sign I fighter that controls what fights he’s going to be in. Fedor is doing the same sh$%t outside the UFC and fighting for Trump(who just wants to make a quick buck)proves it. If he fought for Dana he would have to earn it, and trust me I think he has the skills to do it, but he has prove it before he earns my respect. Trump know’s how to play fools and these fools calling themself real MMa fans are killing it for the “REAL MMA FANS”. Hell I bet Barnett’s wrestling over in China with Sapp is just as Suspenseful!?

by Beaver on Jan 15, 2009 11:25 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I second that Beaver. Dana and the UFC are the reasone the fighters in the UFC and outside the UFC are getting paid what they are, there’s no doubt about it.
