Rich Franklin couldn’t finish Dan Henderson if Henderson stood there and let him hit him in the face a dozen times. Henderson has one of the best chins in MMA.

Also, keep an eye open for Shogun and Ninja’s little brother Marcos “Baby” Rua. He is the youngest of the fighting brothers and he is an even bigger lightheavyweight then shogun. “Baby” Rua will be making his mma debut in March (i think)

With badass family nicknames like Shogun and Ninja, how does Marcos get stuck with “Baby”. I get that hes the youngest and all, but still. Samurai or Daimyo or Shinobi or something would fit.

Plus he has to in my opinion, Rich doesn’t wanna do it and Dan would be so much more of a coach IMO.

+1 here john. I especially agree at Rich fighting top 205ers. I think by the time he gets a chance to fight for title contention, Machida will have just had his title shot, so it would make Franklin rematch for the belt, or rematch for a No.1 contender spot. Machida IMO needs at least 1 (preferably 2) more wins after the Silva fight before he gets a title shot. That would be 3 fights down, Rich would get to beat Hendo, Bisping, (decline Anderson 3) and fight say… Chuck Liddell? before rematching Lyoto.

don’t worry hopefully dan will win, but i think either one will beat bisping.i like bispiong and think he has gotten alot better but he is not really great at anything just good at everything witch is good but not against these two.

I’m upset they would “force” rich, who has obviously gained muscle mass, to drop back down to MW. This is coming from a non Franklin fan too! They should just name Dan the coach regardless, it just makes more sense!

I’m thinking of starting up my “conversations” again guys, I’ll tell you why! As much as some of you hated on me, others loved them. I didn’t do them for attention, I’s do them at like 4 or 5 am when I got home from work, that way I could sleep in without blogging too much! I’d read the days news and write my thoughts! Yeah Marcos is pretty tall. What weight is he doing to fight at? And I’ll stick with Marcos “Shinobi” Rua. Although I’m a bit partial to the Daimyo nickname.

i hated most of them and thought you where a little pompus(j/k), but a few of them where real good and there sure wasn’t alot going on to talk about today i wouldn’t mind them especially on slow days.
