Josh Neer vs Mac Danzig UFC Fight Night 17 fight is on despite recent arrest

From Mickey Dubberly — Chief Executive Officer of K.O. Dynasty Sports Mgt. — on behalf of his client, Josh Neer:
"Josh will be fighting Mac Danzig February 7 in the co-main event in Tampa as scheduled. Josh has been training very hard for this fight, and is looking forward to putting on a great fight for the UFC and fans. Josh would like to once again thank his family, fans, friends, training partners, UFC , and everyone that has supported him through his career."
Despite a recent video interview that appeared with "The Dentist" just yesterday that cast doubt on his participation at UFC Fight Night 17 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla., on February 7 following a New Year's Eve arrest, it appears that Josh Neer will indeed compete against against Mac Danzig as scheduled. It happens, hope he puts on a show knowing his backs against a wall. But how will he fend off all of Macs bugs!!!

I thought for sure that they would can him. I think he wins against Mac. But they kinda set a precedent with the Rampage thing even though it’s different. In weird tidbit news, Marcos Rua debuting in MMA for rua brother fans. I think everyone is still on the last emelianenko to join their ranks.

Remember this is coming from his agent, not the UFC. I’ll believe it when it happens.

Good to see that the UFC lets Neer fight and doesn’t discriminate based on the color of the fighters skin.
Good luck Neer.

wow, this guy neer really is NOT a good fighter!! first off danzig should have won that fight..Danzig controlled and dominated him the whole first round and all of the second round up to the moment where he slipped up one time and fell into the lucky triangle of neer..Danzig definately WITHOUT a DOUBT destroys Josh Neer 9 of 10 fights. Really dont even know how neer made it to the national level of the UFC.. Neer has some of the ugliest punches and stand up game i have seen in the UFC in a very long time.. not to mention the guy was a complete idiot with the show boating(which he was lossing the whole time he was doing it) and waving his hands around like an idiot! everyone in the crowd was booing at him(and rightfully soo)! God i cant wait for a rematch.. Danzig will destroy him!
