True he didn’t win a round, but he was able to get 3 takedowns, and passed to full mount, something the GREAT Dan Henderson never did. Add to that a sloppy armbar that MAY have ended the fight. At least he tried to end. Hendo swung like a madman but other than that didn’t try to finish.
Regardless, thats my opinion. I watched the Hendo/Silva on Unleashed last night, and was unimpressed, and from watching the Lutter and Hendo fight back to back, I thought Lutter did better.

I just really looked at the entire card, and, now that its finalized, DAMN! I really wish I could go live because EVERY fight to me is worth seeing. I don’t suppose we could start another petition to get the UFC to start showing at like, 7pm to show all the fights though. Looks like I’ll be catching some vids early Sunday morning.

Wiman/Stout – could be FotN
Excited to see TJ Grant
Bocek’s jits are really good
The Crow’s return – nuff said
MacDonald/Quarry – big Rock fan, hope he knocks JMac unconcious
Marshal/MikeC – Both guys are great on the ground
Kang/Prof X – heard alot about Xman, interested to see if Kang can gain some momentum
Cane/Cantwell – possibly FotN, should be a brawl
Kongo/Hardonk – if Kongo keeps it standing, should be a GREAT stand up fight. I watched Hardonk/Sanchez the other day, and man, Hardonk has some great heart/chin, and pretty good power and fantastic technique. REALLY excited for this fight
Stann/Kryztoff – I dont like Kryz at all, so hope to see him get beat
Liddell/Rua – nuff said
Silva/Leites – I’ll stick to what I’ve been saying, Leites 2nd round Arm-Triangle Submission

In THE Lutter fight Silva was coming off double knee surgery if you watch the fight you can tell his legs weren’t as strong as they always are. But still pulled out the submission victory. I say Silva Rd1 KO! The real Shogun Should show up this time 2RD submission victory!

He did lose that first round to Lutter. You will hear the commentary say he only lost one CHAMPIONSHIP round, that being the first round to Hendo. Because the idiot Lutter couldn’t make weight, they exclude that from the Spider’s lore. They don’t want to give credit to Lutter (or others like him) when given such opportunities and disrespect the game and their opponent.

I really just wanna see Cantwell fight again. I was very impressed. And Krzysztof is always an entertaining fight. Silva is great but idk why he’s fighting anyone other than another legend like him. The fight everyone wants to see is GSP and Anderson Silva. Give the people what they want.

Why is shogun amping his jiu jitsu for chuck! There’s no way he takes chuck down and actually pulls off a submision. I say its a recap of chuck vs babalu. Dude alot of you guys got good picks for the card but what upset me is that everyone(almost everyone) has the crow winning. As much as I love the crow myself I have to say Ed Herman is a bad dude. Damian Mia Whooped him good but he has had battles with everyone he has fought. Win or lose.
