hey brendan, we went to the east village tavern like you suggested, but they were carding everyone after 6 and my son forgot his fake ID! we ended up at hennesey’s. not bad for a bar and grill, but hated watching the fight with people!

Affliction VP Tom Atencio is eyeing to jump back into fighting in February, reports the Press-Telegram in Long Beach, California.
“I will fight for somebody else not Affliction,” Atencio told writer Miguel Lopez. “I have been wanted to fight for a long time. I just haven’t had time. I still don’t have time but I want to do it again.”

Atencio has fought once before, winning a three-round decision at Total Combat 7 on Jan. 29, 2005 in Tijuana, Mexico.

The 41-year-old Atencio will fight in the welterweight division.

This is the biggest family of goofs I’ve ever seen. $100 million gross? What was the net, $10,000? The most sought after promoter? I bet De La Hoya is shaking in his boots.
