Henderson never gets Knocked out, but Franklin does and will.
by Robert on Dec 28, 2008 8:10 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
are you kidding me? Henderson has an iron chin, i dont think rich’s punches will ko him. No hendersons overhand right is gonna turn the lights off for rich
by psg on Dec 29, 2008 12:49 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
When faced with an iron chin, go for the body KO. Franklin has good liver kicks so who knows. Hendo by UD.
by NameNotRequired on Dec 29, 2008 1:02 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
hendo is way past his prime
i dont think he could beat any of the top 5 MW atm and defo none of the top 5 LHW
franklin will win by decision just like against okami but more excitin
is it me or is franklin like 1 of the hardest ppl to submit
okami and lutter have both had him in mean submissions now

Couldn’t they let Jeremy Horn suffer his next loss at home?
by the_mexicutioner on Dec 28, 2008 7:11 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
They should just let Jeremy Horn suffer out of the UFC!

My Picks:
Franklin
Shogun
Kang
Palhares
Lytle
Kampman
Mendes
Drwal
Mohr
LOL is it me or does Denis Siver slightly resemble the latest James Bond? Quantum of Solace anyone?
by Machine on Dec 28, 2008 7:11 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
But Lytle’s never been finished. Why do you say Davis by KO? He’s got crisp boxing but I think Lytle’s striking is on par. Actually, these guys are pretty even when you break it down. However, Lytles experience will be the edge.

I hope franklin and shogun win and later fight eachother or one of them fight rampage.
by mmaloco on Dec 28, 2008 7:32 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
I’m thinking Shogun gets Rampage if he wins… Shogun wins that then gets Evans/Machida/T. Silva for the title. Forrest vs Liddell next?
by 1-0 via Arm Triangle on Dec 28, 2008 8:01 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
lol very true
first of all rampage will be fightin either forrest or rashad it is really up to him which 1 he wants
liddell will most likely vs vera/jardine
and the winner of machida/silva will probably not get a title shot because they are relatively unknown to regular fans
i dont know who will be next for shogun when he wins (he will win) but i would love to see him move down to MW

so out of shape.. hope he looks better this time around

I can’t wait to see this event. winners will be
Henderson
Coleman
Kang
Palhares
Lytle

I’ve almost the same picks, the only I don’t have is Lytle… I think Davis will box his way for the unanimous decision win.

how can anyone have coleman ftw??? mark my words shogun will win
by ufcaddict on Dec 29, 2008 7:32 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
i know y’all are tired of hearing it cause im tired of saying it. but wandy and shogun should drop down to 185.
by COR on Dec 28, 2008 8:53 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
Am I the only one that doesn’t want this fight? I don’t want either guy to lose. I guess Franklin is my guy if I have to choose. It would be incredible if Franklin made his way to a title shot in the stacked LHW division. That would really speak to A. Silva’s talent.

This is a good follow up to UFC 92. It’s all downhill from 92 for a bit. What a card!

I been waiting for hendo/ace forever and finally
My pick
Franklin by decision
I want him to win seems like he’s only fighter to pull through great even after devastating ko losses
And I pick shogun over coleman
Then maybe we can see rematch between him and rampage
by phenomenal angel on Dec 28, 2008 9:22 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
i personally feel rampage would reck shogun in a rematch. well see how shogun does against coleman. if he recks coleman within a round hes still got it, if he does anything less rampage will destroy him
by Jared on Dec 29, 2008 1:42 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I agree with COR. Wandy definitely needs to drop down to 185. After watching him fight in the UFC LHW division he looks small and stocky compared to the other fighters. I think he will do better as a MW.
As for Shogun he looked tiny compared to Forrest when they fought he was out muscled and out classed. Maybe it was just a bad night but will see how Shogun looks in the cage for UFC 93.
For the UFC 93 main event. Finally these 2 meet, This has been a long time coming and the weird thing is they are both fighting at 205. I always wanted to see the Rich and Hendo fight when they both had their MW belts. I like both fighters. Its hard to say but I’m rolling with Hendo but either way its going to be a great fight.
by skelow on Dec 28, 2008 9:48 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
agreed, it seems like the only legitimate option to extending his career at this point.
by Punch You in the Ovaries on Dec 28, 2008 11:04 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Hendo vs Franklin I like both but think Henderson will win
Coleman vs Shogun Coleman’s reinvented himself at LHW and I expect a win.

coleman and franklin are getting dismantled. take that to the bank.
by jonsey on Dec 29, 2008 12:01 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
For some reason I just dont see the Shogun and Coleman fight happening, they are just both seemingly unreliable and have fought maybe 6 times between the two of them in the last 3 years.
by DirtyML on Dec 29, 2008 12:13 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
Keep in mind that Shogun has not fought since 2007 and when he did fight in 07 against Griffin he didn’t look like the same Shogun. Since then he has sustained an injury and hasn’t fought in over a year and 4 months. In my opinion this fight can make him or break him because your only good as your last fight and since he has been inactive no casual fan really knows Shogun. It think we will see how he ranks and where he is at in his career when we see him fight Coleman.

SHogun will be in da house come UFc 93 and you will see him taking out the best in the UFC in 2009

I’m not saying that there not good fighters, because they both have proved it. But this is going to be a fight that I wouldn’t pay for, and just wait for it to be on spike.

i like this longer preview video i think there trying to market shogun more cause for the most part the video was about him

Good card…… Rich will still be mw champ if it wasn’t for Sliva……. so Hendo vs Rich is a good indicator to see how good Rich can be as a light heavy.
