UFC President Dana White reveals that the wheels are already in motion to put something "special" together for the fans with its 100th pay-per-view (PPV) event, which would likely take place sometime in summer 2009. would love to see all those, but i think they have already said that lesnar is fighting the winner of tomorrow nights fight at ufc 100. and i think dos santos is fighting stefan struve at ufc 95, and carwin is fighting gonzaga. There is prolly enough time for them to fight again at 100 but who knows. But like i said i would really like to see those. Also this comment could get some harsh words but i dont really wanna pay to see hughes vs serra, save that for a main event at a UFN (even that fight will def be a co-main event at some ppv)

I like all these fights, but there’s two problems with having lots of title fights:
1. it’s been done before ages ago and (i think) they all went 5 rounds -> long and dull.
2. All the other cards that summer would be weak as a result.

Damn’ Carnage I was gonna’ say that…fights like Rampage & Wanderlei are equivalent to Championship bout excitement in my book… so I’m all for only showcasing the best & exciting matchups, no 2nd tier fights or upcomers. Fights I’d like to see as of today are.

Still say Gonzaga is a future champ. BJJ is Brock’s cryptonite and the size/strength advantage is not as big against Napao. Plus Gabe could always KO you at any moment.

When would they do GSP/Penn winner vs Alves? Anderson is fighting at UFC 97 aswell. Chuck wants to fight at UFC 96 also. They’re gonna have to put some fighters in on short rest to make this thing work. I’d like to see things played out a little like this:
GSP (if he wins vs BJ) vs Alves
Penn vs Florian
Nog (When he wins) vs Lesner
Forrest/Rashad vs Machida/Thiago Silva
Anderson vs Chuck @ 205
That would be a dream. Just some preliminary ideas. No telling how things will play out with injuries and other contingescies.

Silva v Chuck isnn’t really a dream while chucks on a slide. Just really don’t want to see a card wasted with Leites tho. Silva beatin the ass off TUF winner should have good timing. Winner of Machida / Silva deserves shot but would prefer to see Wandi / Griffin (if they both win). What a fucking war that would be!!!!!

UFC 100 at Madison Square Garden…
Brock vs Nog..Gives both time to train since both pose big threats
Gsp vs Silva..Mega Fight, and the timing seems to work out with Gsp end of Jan and Silva in April, Gsp could then have time to add some weight
Penn vs Florian..Penn likes fighting 2 to 3 times per year, so it works since ufc 100 is in middle of year..
Serra vs Hughes..Serra NY guy, and Dana said recently he does not see this fight happening til the summer ..
Then add another fight with someone like Couture, or Liddell who prob won’t be in any title picture, and you can put them in a fight with anyone and still sell it, or if they are able to sign a big fighter in the months leading up to it, give him the last fight

I didn’t even notice his but I agree for sure about the main three, I have my fantasy UFC 100 at MSG which is why I think hughes/serra makes sense since there is a home town guy on every card..
I didn’t even add a 5th fight just added someone like Couture or Chuck would make sense they have been around a while, and deserve to be at 100 ..

Bring back a mini tourney for old time sake, the fans would love it and vegas is ok with them now.

1. hopefully ufc will sharpen up and make 100 the first event in a ring. im so sick of not being able to see into the cage at live events. plus its boring to see people stuffed against the cage.
2. get rid of that poser goldberg. i really cant stand the dude. rogan i guess is cool, but they need a change. sign coture to co host and let rogan lead the show. i sound desperate.
