Rampage is already back-peddling. No ropes to fall through this time when he gets KTFO.

If you saw the clip he was pushed by Wanderlei, not back pedaling.

I did, and he still back-peddled.

Man I dislike Rampage, never got his jokes or humor more annoying than anything alse, I want Sliva to beat the crap out him but I still think Rampage has improved while Sliva is past his prime. To be honest this card has three main fights that I don’t see being competitive at all…
Nog
Rashad
Rampage
I hope I’m wrong and all are great fights

IM SORRY BUT I HAVE JUST TO SAY THIS AND PUT IT IN CAPS…
THE BREAKDOWN OF THE UFC 92 CARD IS A JOKE. THE FACT THAT YUSHIN OKAMI VS DEAN LISTER IS ON THE UNDERCARD IS A DISGRACE. Here are two fighters, especially okami who do nothing but win but apparentlly ground fighters are boring. Dana went off againt elite xc for fixing a kimbo fite to not go to the ground but he just pushes his guys on the unaired card!!! WTF is CB F’N dolloway doing on the main card? this kid mite have talent but itll be a while before he’s a contender!! He belong on the prelims. The you have Antoni hardonk fiting a guy who’s 6-0 but has only been fiting for a year? give me a break. is the ufcs heavyweight division that bad? its sad that dana rags on boxing for so long but he’s turning the ufc into that. he only cares about making money, not who is the best. Say whatever you want, the ufc is turning into freak show and more and more like the wwf!! If this sport ever wants to be taken fully seriously in the mainstream it cant continue like this!!

Rampage will win this fight tonight because he is the more complete fighter. He told Wanderlei something before he pushed him & who wouldn’t back peddle if they are pushed at a weigh in, what was Rampage suppose to do punch him in the face and get thrown outta the place COME ON. Who hasn’t Wandy pushed before a fight he pushed Rampage in Pride & he pushed Chuck before their fight. RAMPAGE WINS BY GNP TONIGHT because their will not be a bias Pride Ref to stand the fight up this time when Rampage is winning the fight on the ground! This will start out as a stand up war but it will eventually go to the ground and that is where Rampage will get the win by GNP!

Just shows that Dana can MAKE anyone look as good or as BAD as he wants to. Dean Lister, in his first couple UFC fights was the ABSOLUTE WORST striker I have ever seen. And is only slightly better now
If Dana didnt like Lister, he would of put him against ANY decent striker with DECENT takedown defense and Lister would be 2 and OUT of the UFC. Instead he has had 2 years to IMPROVE on his POTHETIC striking.
Same goes with M Bisping. If Bisping wasnt from the UK, he could be easily 4-4 if Dana faced him against a couple decent strikers(Bisping is NO BETTER or WORSE than Sakara)….but Dana ONLY give Bisping ONE dimensional Grapplers with horrible striking(to make Bisping look so much better than what he actually is)
by fightfan on Dec 26, 2008 11:16 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Fightfan, I agree with you. And to add to what you said, Bisping should have lost to Hamil as well.
by ProKev on Dec 27, 2008 1:41 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Nice Fightfan…I agree. Good biz is about the bottom line…and since Bisping is Dana’s ‘European cash cow" He’s been letting him coast along nicely…(Day, McCarthy??…Plz) He did beat Leben though that ish was BORING!
Dean Lister is sick…on the ground. Let’s see if his striking has improved.
WAR RAMPAGE!!!! HOWL!!!!!
by Ground-Game on Dec 27, 2008 2:53 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
That is so true fightfan, the decision they gave Bisping over Hamil was “HIGHWAY ROBBERY”. It was obvious they gave Bisping that fight and it was painful to watch.

cb on the main card is because he was one of the biggest names on a very successful season of TUF and is quite known.. dean lister isn’t and yushin okami is the same way even though he was a title contender and this fight has implications of a shot hes not well known in the states..
theres a reason people do some of the things they do, whether or not they’re understandable by some isn’t relevant to him because he knows someone is gonna be pissed

by Robert on Dec 27, 2008 9:05 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Im not arguing that its not a great card. but the fact of the matter is okami should be a mw title contender and b/c he’s looked as a boring figher he’s relagated to the undercard. If this is to be taking as a legitimate sport you need to show the best fighting the best. cb is still young and doesnt deserve that sport on the main card. he’s been fiting for like 2 years while okami has been doing this for years!! that is my point
by DANA BLOWS on Dec 27, 2008 10:29 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I agree with you, man. Lister has fought Arona, CB got caught twice by a guy who hasn’t competed yet since TUF. I know CB and Massenzio will be a great fight though. Those guys have had a rivalry since college, now they get to throw blows too. In the end, I get where you’re coming from as far as putting the most legit fighters on the televised card, but most fans have no idea how badass lister is, they just watch TUF.
by kukuxumusu on Dec 27, 2008 12:03 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I do understand where your coming from as far as what Okami has done for the sport compared to CB, but you have to remember this is a business. They just invested a lot of money on the TUF Fighters and CB got a lot of exposure from that & he has a lot of upside being that he is a young fighter. Okami got beat by Franklin who was Smashed by the Spider 2 times so who exciting would that middle weight fight be. Okami is not known for putting on exciting fights and please don’t mention the fluke “no contest” decision Okami got over the spider years ago. Also DANA was promoting the rematch between the spider and Okami and Okami broke his hand so he had to pull outta the fight. Dana had given Okami the shot but he got hurt, that neither Dana’s fault or his. While he was injured other’s moved up the ladder and that’s how the business and the sport goes.

by RoB on Dec 27, 2008 10:10 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Mike Goldberg thought Rampage won the fight. So saying that the commentators were “on Forrest’s nuts” is inaccurate. When I watched it live I thought either Page won it or it was a draw. The next couple times I watched it I could see how the judges thought Forrest won. It was a very close fight. Probibly should of been a split decision. But I wouldn’t accuse the judges of favoring Forrest. The fight was very close and could have been called either way. It just happened that all the judges saw it Forrest’s way.

I really have a problem with this whole Mir versus Nog being the fight between the best two ground heavyweights. in my opinion the best Ground heavy weight is Fedor he has already beat Nog twice and he would kill Mir if he put him through the beating he gave Nog. that is why I want Nog to win cause Mir is not as good as Dana is making him out to be. and as a matter of fact I feel the best ground heavy weights are fighting in affliction. like Fedor, Barnett, and Arvlowski.
saying Mir is the best ground heavyweight is like saying Andy Wang actually had a chance in the UFC.

Griffin vs evans = evans by decision (I’m rooting for forrest)
Mir vs noguiera = tough but whoever wins 2nd rd wins fight givin 1st to mir 3rd to nog
Kongo vs mustafa = kongo by ko
Silva vs jackson = rampage by decision (rooting for silva)

I see decisions a lot for this card hope if so they’re hell of wars
Last december I only liked the wand vs chuck and guillard vs clementi

Ya keep being a fan of an MMA fighter who takes the cops on a highspeed chase then almost hits a pedestrian… RAMPAGE IS A F up and has always been in WANDERLEIS eyes… WANDERLEI has rampages number… You’re going to see the old WANDERLEI AS YOU SAW IN THE JARDINE FIGHT… REMINDER, FORREST BEAT JACKSON JARDINE BEAT FORREST, NOW GO FIGURE… As Joe Rogan said WANDERLEI IS BACK!!!
GO EVANS!!!
GO NOG!!!
by N1SHOGUNFAN on Dec 27, 2008 6:20 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
Mir by submission in a shocker 1st round. Silva in an ugly slug fest to a decision. Evans by titty twister in the 3rd.

Oh mein Gott!!!!!!!!

that just shows silva is fighting on aggression 2nite ne luck he will wear himself out by round 2 plus rampage is back – look at that leg quadricep definition lol hes ready for war just lik wen he made chuck luk lik a little boy in their second meeting. This is the most excited ive ever bin 4 a UFC even more than the one i went to in ireland but RAMPAGE is definitely gonna win this fight.!!!!!
rashad and griffin is a toss up it al depends on rashads conditioning and if he can land chin shots on griffin!
mir looked ripped enuf at weigh ins and so i cant decide who to choose in his and nogs fight aymore hopefully watching countdown to 92 will give me a beter insight into the fighters mind sets and training regimes.
btw arianny sister in the last blog – angelica = gorgeous! (had to get that in)

Rampage didn’t llok scared to me or like he was back pedaling. He did however look very drawn from the weight cut. Wanderlei looked absolutely shredded. He’s obviously in great shape. I absolutely CANT wait for this fight. I hope Wanderlei 3-peats.

Wand will win. Here is why. He has beaten Page 2 times before, So he has the confident to beat him again, No matter what, Silva will still have this in his mind during the fight.
Quinton on the other hand, looked scared when he came in. Watch his face when he comes in, He looks scared as hell.

Wandi by complete and utter domination. Then we’ll spend another few months listening to more excuses…
Forrest by absolute clinic. He will will pick Evans apart with crisp striking and then Evans will revert to his wrestling background. At that point Forrest will submit him and successfully defend his title.
Nog will win because he is simply better at every aspect of MMA. Mir’s strongpoint is his jits, and Nog’s is on another level.
And my leadpipe lock is that Kongo is going to go nighty night tonight.

I love it!! I didn’t expect the Rampage or the Rashad win, and I can’t say that I expected Mir to win, but I sure as hell wasn’t writing him off like all the Nog lovers on this site! Now GSP can pound BJ, and shut up all the BJ worshipers!!!!!!
