I agree as well, and I’m pretty sick of his ‘sources’. Also, I think it’s stupid for anyone to like fighters based on race, and McNeil always seems to prefer the black fighters. We’re in the 21st century, it’s time to stop with the racial preferences.

GregC: That’s an extremely subjective statement to say that his picks are based on race. In other words, it’s all in your mind. By your standards whenever a white person picks another white fighter to win then race is their prime motivator as well.

Machine, McNeil has said before thats why hes going for a fighter! When they did the Mount Rushmore of MMA, he said Rampage should be on there cause it had to have a black guy! But if it was any other race saying that they pick the guy cause he was the same race, people would go crazy!!!!!!!!

Thank you JV. And Machine, I understand how my post could have been misinterpreted, but I certainly was not merely inferring that McNeil was picking black fighters because he’s black. I wouldn’t make that assumption unless he had previously made the statements about Rampage.

Well whether it’s about race or not, no one will disagree with me on the fact that most of his argument/breakdown is fluff and really meaningless when you think about it. He’s not saying anything that you cant say about any other fighter that’s preparing for a fight. Also who else was pissed off that Sakuraba wasn’t on their retarded mountain?

The only fight im looking forward to the least wouls have to be Mir – Nog. But every other fight on the card is huge for me. Cant wait to see Mastafa Al Turk test himself inside the UFC.

Every week Franklin McNeil sounds like an ass! Please get rid of him!
All he does is state "what he thinks is the obvious". He is an idiot who clearly only watches the UFC. I really want to just smack him. I also like how he argues with the fighters about technical stuff. Clearly he is an idiot! ESPN, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT SOMEONE ELSE ON THIS SHOW instead of McNeil
At least Rogan will say something insightful every other ppv. I have watched most of the ESPN show, McNeil continues to amaze me!
