“usually he’s babababh” yeah, usually he’s not so heavily medicated! Can’t wait for the blogs, really didn’t care about video game awards much..wow, the shadowboxing to the music was super gay! can’t wait until tomorrow!

by kevin on Dec 23, 2008 4:47 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Yeah the shadowboxing was pretty lame. Glad I missed the show.

by Jeff on Dec 23, 2008 6:51 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

WOW that was lame!
Shadow boxing… teh dated… I was just waitnig for someone to pull of the worm or a windmill.

by JonnyBoy on Dec 23, 2008 7:24 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Right on Kev, that whole sequence reminded me of a skit or record mime I did in 6th grade drama. Forrest was the only one who actually went through with it, then he saw the other fighters weren’t doing it, so he stopped. Too funny.

by Open24hrz on Dec 23, 2008 7:28 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

they would never have gotten ali and frazier in the same area code…the ufc is awesome ..but i agree that was jus so stupid them comin out to dance..makes a mockery of the sport…and i pick silva beat rampage,,again…the last time the ko was so vicious …i dont see him forgetin that..

by juan on Dec 23, 2008 7:37 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Rampage wasn’t talking because Wanderlei was in the room and he had to be civil…all Page wants to do with fight him, not dance with him… must’ve be weird for Page… not so weird for Wanderlei because he KO’d Rampage twice..

Yet again Rampage is quiet with no jokes! I say Rampage is going to win by ko though.

by Tony on Dec 23, 2008 5:01 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Thats because he was like 10 feet away from Wanderlei Silva.

He is 100 percent serious with this fight!

..and he will win!

by xwolfmanxx on Dec 23, 2008 6:22 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Was rampage facing Silva in the cage before they all started to shadow box/ dance????

by ricky on Dec 23, 2008 7:42 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’m not sure it looked like they switched dance partners lol.

by JonnyBoy on Dec 23, 2008 7:37 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Forrest was the only one shadowboxing, its like that was what they were told to do but the rest of the crew decided that that would look gay and Forrest didn’t get the memo.

by Don on Dec 23, 2008 5:08 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

lol, they were all looking dumb, half dancing, moving and squirming. it was gay either way!

by kevin on Dec 23, 2008 5:16 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

super dumb,,,imagine frasier and ali doin that,,,

by juan on Dec 23, 2008 7:53 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I don’t know who’s dumbass idea that was. I mean these guys are fighters, not stage entertainers. Can’t say I’d want to be up there dancing in front of a room full of people, not to mention on national TV.

by JRK on Dec 24, 2008 9:04 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

How tense did some of those situations have to be with 6 guys in the same room, sometimes in the same car and plane, that are about to knock each others heads off? Maybe not so much the other guys, but you could probably cut the tension between Rampage and Wandi with a fricken knife! I can’t wait for Saturday!

who gives a rats ass? unless your a bible pusher or a woman that is!?

by kevin on Dec 23, 2008 5:19 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Kevin your thoughts say much about you. I give the proverbial rats bottom and I agree with the Pimp’s perspective.

Having said all this – I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas!

PS – Let VM know that I have been praying for his wife.

by TapedUpPair on Dec 23, 2008 5:44 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

seriously bro, I grew up christian, celebrate christmas, but we’re typing, what’s the difference of shortening u for you or r for r. just takes up less space and makes less work for us. unless you’re a secretary, who cares!!

by kevin on Dec 23, 2008 8:11 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

damn right. I always get that flak from my school teacher about the xmas thing. i said, “Who cares? Everybody types it that way.”…And she goes like, “Well it’s Jesus’ Christ’s name we’re usin, not X.”, and i said, “Ma’m, in Math, X could be a substitute for any value, in this case, the value of Jesus.”…..She shuts up, LMFAO!

by Syd[a.k.a "The Negation"] on Dec 24, 2008 12:21 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I dont think Lester pushed anything on anybody he just made a respectful distinction and you emasculated him in a rather unsympathetic way and threw his faith under the bus. I dont think we should denote the God of the Universe with an X to save space? For a believer, when we consider what He is and what He has given it becomes rather disrespectful to treat Him like a common, abbreviated pronoun. For some this may sound uncool, that is Okay, but for me Christianity is like BJJ for the mind and it is Salvation for the soul. In short, I am no secretary, but I do care when people show disrespect whether out of ignorance or spite.

she was probably thinking – ’ dont cast your pearls to swine ’ or ‘The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned’ … dont confuse her silence for your intelligence.

Seriously, you really went out of your way to correct someone who used Xmas? LOL. Lester is your name a reference to Jimmy Woods character in Casino? If so, kinda weird. That guy was a grade-A d-bag.

by Adonai12 on Dec 23, 2008 5:34 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Haha they all looked so uncomfortable on stage, Rampage has a little riddum to him tho haha. But Happy Holidays to everyone, and enjoy saturday night! In terms of matchmaking, this might be Joe Silva’s Mona Lisa, he is absolutely brilliant when it comes to giving the fans what we want. Even though contendership in the UFC is not always very clear, they do an amazing job of speculation when it comes to who they think would put on a good fight. I know that the UFC is the NFL of MMA, but they truly have outdone themselves with this card. I cant wait!!! Much love and peace and happiness to everyone.

P.S. I hope rampage has learned the lesson it’s better to give than recieve, he has recieved a couple treats from wanderlei over the years and I’m hoping he returns the favor tenfold. I love wanderlei but I think Rampage was robbed in the Griffin fight and I know if Forrest and ‘Page both win he will get his rematch and then its all she wrote for Forrest’s title run.

P.P.S. If Forrest loses, I will never consider him a real champ. He stole that deicision from Rampage and couldn’t defend it against Evans, not a champ in my book. I am a firm believer that if a title fights goes to the judges and its not clear who won, the champ should always get the decision. YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE CHAMP, NOT JUST OUTPOINT HIM. I’m ramblin’ I’m sorry. Take care everyone!

by Adonai12 on Dec 23, 2008 5:32 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I agree with your ‘beat the champ’ philosophy whole heartedly!

by Anthony on Dec 23, 2008 6:29 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Bahhh. Watch the fight man. Forrest won it no questions asked! 5 round fight he won 3 rounds. I agree he has a lot to prove to be a ‘true’ champ but couldn’t deny he won that fight

by MMAGreen on Dec 23, 2008 10:04 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

When I 1st watched the fight I thought Rampage won and was shocked with the judges decision… then I saw the compu stats and watched the fight 2 more times and Forrest won it especially when u count the leg kicks in. Forrest was the busier fighter… I like the fact that this isn’t boxing and if u beat the Champ even by a small margin it counts! A Win is a Win.

by THORAZINE on Dec 24, 2008 1:40 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I think somebody upped Rampage’s prozac dose too much….he didn’t look like himself at all…and yes, he needed change, but…that much change? I’m not sure…I think Wand is gonna crack his face again.

by Vox on Dec 23, 2008 5:43 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I watched the fight again I thought Forrest won. Rampage doesn’t look like himself, not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing if you want him to win or lose

by Robert on Dec 23, 2008 5:59 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I’ve watched that fight several times too and i think Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg are on Forrest’s nutz in that fight there only talking about how good he is and all that.. let’s just say that ppl wanted Forrest to win and Rampage didn’t have the same will but still won round 1,3,4..

by RoB on Dec 23, 2008 6:45 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I watched it a million times and I still dont think it was a title winning performance by Forrest!

by john on Dec 23, 2008 7:26 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Exact john, his performance was actually IMO bad.
Forrest is a great guy and all though that fight was rubbish, I was clearly rooting for Rampage who in that fight looked out of shape.
I hope to see a better Rampage this time, prolly he wins too.

by JonnyBoy on Dec 23, 2008 7:41 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’ve watched the fight numerous times, sound on and off. I said it that day, I’ll say it today: IT WAS A DRAW!!!

by kevin on Dec 23, 2008 9:04 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Was Rampages Performance Title winning? No, Forrest won -Out pointed or what ever you call it So what. A win is a win. He beat him!

by DBG on Dec 23, 2008 9:11 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Not a title winning performance but a winning performance in that particular fight

by MMAGreen on Dec 23, 2008 10:06 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Tell me What rounds he won that he didnt get out pointed or just get beat! Doremember 3 of them

by DBG on Dec 23, 2008 10:57 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Good to see the video blog up. Bad to nice page with no jokes and not smiling. Dana was shocked, I was shocked. When Rampage wins he better start smiling, and being the funny guy everyone loves.

It was pretty cool that Mike Tyson knew about the fighters. He even knew that Nog had a twin brother, so he must be a pretty big fan of the sport.

I love these blogs.

by R-Dizzle on Dec 23, 2008 7:28 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Wow Mike Tyson actually showed the UFC boys some respect. Maybe he knows at this point in his life, any of those guys would destroy him. That was cool to see Tyson with the guys.

by sawyer1370 on Dec 23, 2008 8:13 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

i’ve seen tyson at a couple of events and even in pride. he even threatened bob sapp after one of his fights. in tysons day he would have destroyed anyone in mma with vicious beheadings even without the ground game. all he would need is a sprawl cause you wouldn’t have wanted to be in the clinch with mike tyson in his prime.

by jonsey on Dec 24, 2008 1:04 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

that was funny when they were dancing…… weird to see wandy shaking his hips….

Wow way to see the company man Dana working the black card with Evans. The writing is on the wall. Dana wants Suga to win even though I know Griffin is his boy.
