Lauzon vs Franca as the main event? you gotta be kidding.. seems like the hype for this card will be as close to zero as you can come..

Lol good call, i don’t know why louzon keeps headling UFN i like jlau but last time he did he got pounded by kenflo then came back won one fight and now he’s headlining again i recon theres loads of fighters who deserve the top spot more than lauzon and franca, what you think about Maia vs Maquardt? Maybe abit of a step down to be on an ulimate fight night card for both fighters, but that would be an awesome Fight

come on no way marquartd vs maia happen in a UFN but agreed that is an awesome matchup

i like how josh neer is just a gate keeper for the up and coming tuf alumini’s. he just lost to nate diaz and now danzig will have his way with him.

Why? Lauzon is awesome. That Franca guy makes me sick. He colors his hair every fight and i just cant stand that. Also he punches all goofy and is a drunk, juicer..

Yup… they should still add Cain, Pelligrino/Emerson, Amir is supposed to fight. Definatly a decent card for free.

I love watching Lauzon fight. He has knockout power (Jens Pulver) and deep submission skills (his last fight he attempted a flying ankle lock and almost nailed it). I would love to see him submit Franca with something exotic.

Lauzon is impressive – He is part artist and partly insane. Dont know if this should headline but will tune in just the same.

decent card nothing great but it’s free and is in the middle of the week so I can’t complain. Why does Neer keep getting on live fight cards all the time? He always seems to lose.

well its not like hes fighting pushovers at least
by brendan on Dec 18, 2008 10:01 AM EST up reply actions
agreed…….. but doesn’t the ufc cut fighters who keep losing?

If you’re a solid name with either a strong history of experience or a charismatic persona, they will give you the benefit of the doubt and try to keep you around longer than most others who lose. Josh Neer has got the name and the experience.
Another example is houston alexander, lots of losses but the persona keeps him around.

Or if you are on good terms with Zuffa and don’t make a lot of money. Then you can afford a couple or even three losses and you’ll stick around.

ppl who kisses Dana’s ass is around longer.. Tito didn’t do that and his charisma is better than anyones

Neer will not lose this fight. Danzig is noting but a little beeatch who thinks he is all that and a box of tofu burgers. I am picking Neer via knockout

Thats a pathetic card.
Might even be worse then the Fight for the Troops one.
