Kimbo was not even the lamest thing about the broadcast. The other guy the Aussie has the lamest comments. Here is what I remember from the broadcast.
He’s got more combos than McDonalds
He’s got more hits than Yahoo
He’s on his back more often than my ex-girlfriend.
That’s all I can painfully remember from the broadcast.
Good fights though.

Oh my god….. are you serious? I have to watch it now… That is ridiculous….. C’mon Introvert where are the comparisons to Rogan at? We all know you are going to have some extroverted biased comment.

ill fill in for him, hes more knowledgable than rogan! at least hes not biased towards fighters

Its like you can almost hear the other breadcasters sigh and roll their eyes every time he drops one of his sweet metaphors.

by O damn he got caught on Dec 8, 2008 11:33 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
At least the fans got to know him when he sat there and said nothing for hours? Or when telling us that Manhoef looks to finish when he smells blood?

I caught that on the live broadcast and had to rewind it a few times just to make sure. LOL.
by DDT on Dec 8, 2008 1:27 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
lol, stupid Kimbo.
Question:
Why do people say that Machida has earned a title shot? For beating Ortiz, Sokodjou, Nakamura, Heath and Hoger. While never losing is impressive, it doesnt really count unless you face top opposition. Beating Ort hardly makes someone Title Shot material. Penn? Too sall. Franklin? What, 5 years ago? Please explain why you think Machda has been “robbed” of a title shot.
Rashad beat Chuck, Chuck had beaten Wanderlei Silva in FOTY candidate.
Forrest beat Shogun, beating #1 or #2 LHW does deserve a title shot
Henderson was Pride champion at LHW and MW, had just KO’d Silva and was ona roll.
Rampage had beat the sh*t out of Chuck and so obviously deserved a shot at his title.
Does Machida’s resume really stand up to that of former title challengers?
by Adam on Dec 8, 2008 11:36 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
good post…although that arguement won’t hold water if he beats Thiago which I’m sure your aware of
by McArthur on Dec 8, 2008 12:20 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
If Machida wins a boring decision and Wandi kills Rampage in an awesome fight, I think Wandi will get the title shot. And no one will complain because everyone loves Wandi, many people just don’t like Forrest for some reason.
by BNF on Dec 8, 2008 12:28 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
agreed but what if Machida and Rampage win…sooner or later they’ve got to give Machida the shot…don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand his fights, but he is deserving no???
by McArthur on Dec 8, 2008 12:36 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
True, he cannot be denied if he continues to win. However, he will continue to be overlooked and more exciting, charasmatic fighters will get a shot first. I personally don’t have a problem with it either.
by BNF on Dec 8, 2008 12:54 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
me neither…only because when he does get the strap he might have it for a while
by McArthur on Dec 8, 2008 1:29 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I think if he gets the strap before Wandi, I think his first defense will be against Wandi. Machida would make a boring champ, and I am pretty damn sure Dana knows this. IMO Wandi has the perfect style to beat machida. All this will be insignificant if Thiago beats machida, and personally I think he will. I would not bet on it though. haha
by naturalshadow on Dec 8, 2008 3:47 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
if thiago is at +300 or something like he was before, i bet you will
by brendan on Dec 8, 2008 7:18 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
And Rashad also would have lost to Tito if it hadnt been a point deduction, then he barely beat an undersized Bisping. There is no question that Machida has faced tougher competition. He did KO an over the hill Liddell who has dropped two of his past three. I think Machida would destroy Rashad, and the only reason he is getting a title shot is to market, two TUF contestants. Im not a Machida fan at all, but Rashad more deserving?
by LOKIE on Dec 8, 2008 1:53 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Coming of the win over wandi they were gonna give chuck a shot at the title if he beat rashad… He got knocked silly so they had to give rashad the shot… If machida beats thigo he might get the title shot depending on how impressive he is and how rampge and wandi goes..

lmao, i’m glad mania put it up, we all heard about it, but tis is priceless
by kevin on Dec 8, 2008 11:37 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
First of all Chuck had lost his 2 previous fights going into the fight with Wanderlai,so Chuck should have not even been in the title picture, also remember you were hating on Ortiz, well Ortiz really beat the number 1 contender and the champ, but Machida was actually able to beat Ortiz where Rashad could not.
by Scott on Dec 8, 2008 11:55 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
You think Ortiz really won the fight against Griffin?
I’ll grant you he got the judges decision.
How much alcohol was involved, I wouldn’t guess.
by KS on Dec 8, 2008 5:53 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I am so tired of hearing that go back and watch it,Griffen really did not win any round, the only reason thought that Forest won the second round was that Tito did not beat him as bad as he did in the first and they were both striking go watch ,Tito landed more than Forest in the second, third round Tito took him down again and beat him in that round ,so you tell me how you even think that Forest beat Tito in that match
by Scott on Dec 8, 2008 10:33 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Is this even worth watching? I know it’d be waste of my time.

Wow Mania…even you are jealous of another man’s success.
It’s not like Kimbo has been running around saying he’s a geography major.
Slip of the tongue…maybe nerves…maybe he’s a complete idiot. One thing is for sure though…people sure like to get their cheapshots in on the guy. But I guess that’s what success opens a person up for.
by introvert on Dec 8, 2008 12:17 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
ya I’m sure that’s exactly why MMAMania posted this video, they are sooooooooooooooo jealous of Kimbos “success”. XD

Did you just try to defend a guy who said the city of Japan,my 5 year old son knows that Japan is a country, this is why we have people in America thinking it is ok to be stupid, because people are always making excuses for them.
by Scott on Dec 8, 2008 12:27 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
No matter how nervous anyone would be, even if they were stupid enough to slip up and say the city of Japan, they would be smart enough to realize it, and fix what they said.
by naturalshadow on Dec 8, 2008 3:51 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
lol seriously natural, i was just waiting for him to say “did i just say the city of japan?” and laugh it off, but alas… look what our society has degraded to
by brendan on Dec 8, 2008 8:10 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
introvert-pretend Dana White had a UFC event in Japan. What would you say if he made the same grammatical mistake that Kimbo made.
by RyanHobbs on Dec 8, 2008 12:41 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
He would be the first one on here laughing his ass off,and he knows it.He would bash Dana for 2 weeks on this issue
by Scott on Dec 8, 2008 12:50 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Hope, because Mania wouldn’t post this if it were Dana…they love Dana and would not set him up like that.
by introvert on Dec 8, 2008 12:55 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
you know ,that they are just as quick to say when Dana is messing up,look at the situation with AKA,they were all over that so could you please stop being so biased
by Scott on Dec 8, 2008 2:20 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
You all are wasting your time…. introvert is a complete hater….. he needs to change his name to Oscar the Grouch or live up to his name……. Can’t believe he can hate Dana…. call mania out but defend Kimbo Friggin’ Slice
by psyqo78 on Dec 8, 2008 2:44 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I don’t know about complete hater, defended slice.. but how can you be on this guys nuts? I can see how ppl are swinging from Fedor/GSP/BJ Penn’s balls but Kimbo? You picked a pretty sorry sac to cling to intro..
by O damn he got caught on Dec 8, 2008 3:25 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I can’t stand Kimbo, actually. Just think it’s funny how much everyone seems to care about the guy or what he says and what he does.
by introvert on Dec 8, 2008 3:31 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I have never read a single positive post that introvert has made…. If I missed one I retract my earlier statement but i am here everyday… even if I don’t post …i am lurking in the shadow’s. I used to think his negativeness was strictly towards anything UFC and Dana White. But now even towards the site’s host for what “they” decide to put on “their” site.
by psyqo78 on Dec 8, 2008 4:27 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I believe Dana just said on a televised TUF, “you’ll have to beat him off”. Then he laughed about it with everyone, and proceeded with his machiavellian plan.

How many jokes are there going to be because he accidentally said city of Japan? I mean come on who gives a fuck. He’s not the first guy on a broadcast to say something ridiculous Mike Goldberg and Kenny Rice do it all the time.Get over it people.

15 seconds later he said it again, leading me to believe it wasn’t a slip!

I think it has something to do with the fact of how uneducated he seems already, then makes this comment. say what you want, but if you have heard Kimbo talk, its obviouse that he is uneducated. I dont think it was a mistake
by LOKIE on Dec 8, 2008 2:41 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Ya and hes making more money and getting more women then all of you educated goons. Leave the guy alone
by BMO on Dec 8, 2008 7:27 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
doubt it, from what I’ve read, he’s actually a family man! add this year with years prior, most of us have made more!
by kevin on Dec 8, 2008 7:34 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Even when he was brawling in backyards he was taking home 200k plus, and thats tax free. I respect the guy, if theres an opportunity on the table to make some good money and get your name out there why not jump all over it. I hope he does well in K-1, but he wont :).
by BMO on Dec 8, 2008 7:44 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
how do you figure?? those fights (from what I’ve heard) were for 10k! he said both guys/teams would put up 10k, winner take all!

I can just picture people sitting at their computer thinking about Kimbo’s city of Japan comment. Thinking of something funny to say then sending in some lame ass reply and saying to them self I’m so fucking funny. When in reality it’s fucking stupid ass comments by just about everyone.
