Who is this Brian “The Mad Stork” Schwartz character raking in $28K just to show????
His pro record was 0-1 coming into the fight.

Strikeforce is one of the few companies that GETS IT! For the most part they arent over paying fighters except for a few…This organization has a chance to stick around for a while.
I would like to maybe see Sokoudjou land in Strikeforce. Soko vs. Bablu for the title would be bad ass.
Speaking of Soko…Affliction better jump on him because there are many good match ups awaiting him in Affliction He could face:
Nog (rematch)
Tito (if he ever signs)
Vladamir

Soku will just gas and either get submitted or KTFO against Babalu. He’s been exposed by Machida and Cane.

Kim Couture making more than guys that have paid some serious dues over the years?!?!?!?!? This from a “family” that feels fighters need to be paid fairly based on the work they put into the sport. What a bunch of bullsh**. She comlained previous that Brock didn’t deserve a shot at Randy, yet she feels that at 0-1 Strikeforce should have put her on the main draw?!?!?!? Her fight was an embarassment for women’s mma.

It is the promotions fault when they line up a fighter like Lina Kvokov that 1. Can’t fight and 2. Won’t fight
I’m not a big fan of women’s MMA, but I agree, that “fight” was an embarrassment and more of that will end any hope the women have of breaking into MMA.

That set women’s MMA back IMO especially since it was televised above riggs’ fight nonetheless. I agree with all your statments frank, i’ve long hated on xtreme couture, randy and yoko for their undeserved fame, moneygrubbing and cowardice. I just hope they don’t taint their good guys, except for junie. He definitely belongs there.

It didn’t set woman’s MMA back come on.It was a bad match that shouldn’t have happened but that happens all the time with men.The big crime is Kim Couture got 10,000 for fighting.I’d be willing to bet no one at the HP Pavilion was there to see Kim Couture. Why Strikeforce offered her 5 and 5 I have no Idea. The way she is starved to be in the spotlight like Gina Carano I’m sure she would have taken less just for the exposure.

On a main card, those kinda mis matches happen all the time on shows as big as Strikefoce??? I don’t think so homie. With Women’s MMA starving for attention and respect, that kind of fight makes the woman’s side of the sport look like the joke many uninformed critis say it is. There are so many great women’s fighters out there that would be willing to fight for half of what Couture made and give fans a helluva show. In my opinion, Kim Couture hurt the lady’s side of the sport more than any good she’s done. If I watched that fight and that was my first time watching women’s MMA, my first impression of it is that it is a joke and waste of time and money. Stupid move by Strikeforce, and shame on Xtreme Couture for playing both sides of the fence when it suits them best.

Kim Couture better thank her husband to get that kind of money for 0-1 record. That was a horrible fight and they gave her a chick that was afraid to get punched.
