Yeah, The Soup is one of the very few tv shows that I hate to miss. I laugh my ass off at all the stupid crap they find on other tv shows.

LMAO…i could watch that clip again and again. only because he asked for it. i would never wish that brutal a k.o. upon anyone unless they asked for it.

LOL @ Kaplan tryna say he wasnt knocked out. Dude was gone. Bragging how he never been knocked out then buddy knocks him out easy.

That is so classic. He is KO’d with the leg pined back, saying he is not out. Probably hear him snoring if the camera got closer. Horrible for the everyday non-mma fans to see,a lot of them already think they are brute savages. Not the best message to send.

Completely agree!!!!
1: He was out f’in COLD.
2: Horrible for the average person to see. Interesting that Dana has gone to all these pains and troubles to erase the stigma of human cockfighting from the sport. He goes to great pains to show that these fighters are teachers, accountants, politicians, Olympians, etc. And then gives us a show populated by drunks who knock each other out, p#ss in food and put semen into sushi. Kind of contradictory if you ask me. Hard to defend the sport in ANY argument when the other person brings that stuff up. Trust me. I’ve tried.

Its not human cock fighting… theirs no stigma being left.. its just tough guys being tough.. and anybody would have been knocked out by that punch, so to say he got knocked out easy is very ignorant.. you take a punch like that and you would be in the hospital for weeks

Who are talking to? Me up above? if so, reread my post or get a brain. If not, please ignore this post. Oh, what the heck, I’m gonna argue with you anyway. You are right, it’s not human cockfighting (I never said it was), but a lot of people (and I mean MOST people out there) think it is and don’t know better. That is in and of itself a stigma. “tough guys being tough”. How about stupid guys being retarded. And that’s not ment to insult retarded people. It bothers me when people say that guys like most on the show are cool, or “tight” (i believe that’s the term used by the young/inexperienced/ uneducated) . It’s not cool, tight, funny. It’s moronic. And yes I’ll continue to watch. I like the fights, not the douchebaggery (is that a word?) in between. As this show helped MMA become what it is today and was a great advertisement for the sport, tell me if the actions of this season’s cast is doing the same. I triple dog dare you to tell me that. Oh, and of course he got knocked out by that punch, anyone would have been except maybe Leben or Nog. lol

It is obvious there is a stigma still with it in the states especially. It is still not recognized in all 50 states, Deleware is conisdering a ban, cities among Minnesota are considering bans and there are approx ten othe states that don’t allow it including NY and Maine(off the top of my head). For the everyday person to see what is shown on the Ultimate Fighter is not exactly the best representation of MMA. Like Chef said Dana has gone to great lengths to show the world that MMA competitors come from all walks of life and that a large portion of UFC fighters have college degrees and many white collar jobs. Guys being guys is not what you want as a representation for people that don’t understand. That is what football is for. I can go to any frat party in the area to see guys being guys. If I wanted to help educate a person who thought mma was just human cock fighting and barbaric I do not believe I would point them in the direction of the Ultimate Fighter show. But that is just my opinion!
For the educated person, Hands down that was one of the funniest KO’s on TV ever!
