Is there any truth to Chuck Moving up to Heavey wieght to fight randy in June. Some Germany Show. I my buddy told me to go to mmajunkie.com to check out this blog which first revealled this rumor. But really?? come on, seriously, I dont even know how to react to that fight. I wanna be pumped but, the way chuck has fought lately I just dontn know if I wanna see it as much as the other ones.

I read it on BloodyElbow.com. Randy doesnt want to drop to LHW cause Forrest and Wandy train at Xtreme Couture. And cutting the weight is taking its toll on Chuck. So a HW fight is more likely for the two. I personally would love to see it!

What would happen after that fight. Randy is a teeny HW. Chuck? He would be teeny-tiny if he stayed in that division. Good lord, who in that division would he fight in the future? He thinks cutting weight is taking toll? Not near as much a toll as fighting guys twice his size where his now-defendable-one-dimensional technique won’t be very effective. I picture Chucky taking a LOT of naps at HW.

Just like Werdum’s gut I suppose? Hehe!

Nah man im pretty sure the rumors are a possible Chuck/Anderson fight at 95 or something right? Didn’t anybody else hear that?

Randy I thought looked really good against brock. If randy whoul have been able to get brock in to the third round and beyond he would have started to dominate but we will never know
I believe anyone who knows anything about the sport has Randy Couture in the top 6 HW in the world even at 45
My top 9
1 Fedor
2 Noguria
3 Arlovski
3 Mir
4 Lesnar
4 couture
6 Werdum
7 Overeem
8 barnett

Mir= joke/douchbag/sore loser

If your only knowledge of Mir is the reality show, then sure.

Mir is Garbage! I have seen all of his fight asgainst Crappy competition, and he is the most over rated HW that the UFC has ever produced!
To Rank him in your top 5 is laughable…get a clue !

I completly agree man, I got Couture currently in the top 5 probably, and definently top ten.

Mir would be on the bubble in a top 25 ranking at heavyweight to have him tied for 3rd is a complete joke!

So Randy couldn’t even stand with Lesnar without getting KTFO, and now he is going to fight Chuck again?
This just stinks of a money grab, bullshit, mean nothing fight.
If it happens, I hope they both retire afterwards If “big name, money grabbing” fights is the only thing the UFC is going to use them for from this point on then what the fuck is the point?

why would randy agree to get knocked out by chuck again its just a waste of time, although it would give chuck a much needed win
by LG on Nov 23, 2008 4:46 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
another waste of time and money for whoever wants this crap to happen, why with the huge ass stable of fighters that the UFC has do they keep ignoring the rankings opting out to shovel drivel and shit like Couture/Liddell 4…..
oh yeah its all aboot Zuffa making more money and damaging the fine sport of MMA by ignoring any sembalance of a ranking system, sure the UFC has brought it mainstream but at what price….
I guess the average fan tuned in aboot 2004 and became educated to MMA thanks to Dana and company….
Keep it up Dana and you will find out what its like to be bit on the ass as others will eventually pick up the slack and give fighters wage parity, medical benefits and most of all respect…
just the humble opinion of a MMA fan since 1991

I thought it wasn’t you, but glad for the clarification. You know, if you would quit bangin’ these guys girlfriends, they’d stop stealing your name.

I still say that Randy has a good chance at beating brock- if randy came in the same size as he did against Tim Silvia i really believe that he could actaully slam brock- no credit takin away from brock he came in and did his job, now if Chuck comes up to HW its really not going to put any interesting match ups everyone knows liddel game plan every time- so he could knock out a couple of guyz but whats he gonna do when someone the size of Nog Or Brock get him to the ground??
by ricky on Nov 23, 2008 5:33 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
Yeah ricky I agree. Randy was doin just fine, just got caught, plain and simple. BUt before that it was even, and to me looked to be going more and more in Randy’s favor. I definently wanna see Randy come back and fight some more. The people sayin he is washed up and done cuz he is to old are just haters.
by The Anomaly on Nov 23, 2008 6:36 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Did you look at Randy’s face? He looks terrible. He looks like my grandpa did before he died (face starting to cave in). Pretty soon Randy will look like he’s always eating something, but he has nothing in his mouth.
