Meet BJ Penn, GSP and Dana White

Get ready, UFC® President Dana White is coming to town along with UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre and UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn to formally announce UFC 94: ST-PIERRE vs. PENN 2 – the incredible rematch that fans have been waiting for.... On Friday, November 21, the trio will land on the Big Island and hit Honolulu for a public press conference and free viewing party at the Blaisdell Concert Hall."

The public relations media blitz for UFC 94: "St. Pierre vs. Penn 2," which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 31 contiunues in Honolulu with doors opening at 4 p.m. local time. Fans are invited to attend at no cost and will receive free t-shirts while supplies last, as well as will be able to get some autographs. Sounds awesome.

***Please note the event has been moved indoors to the Blaisdell Concert Hall due to the threat of inclement weather***

Penn said after tackling St. Pierre, he wants another shot at former champion Matt Hughes. “Did anyone ever kick your ass before and you got pissed off about it?” he said when asked why.

Not the match up that fans really want to see, but I can definetly understand his logic….who wouldnt mind seeing HUGHES Beaten into OBLIVION?

Then again, no point in even bringing this up because Hughes would NEVER accept a fight with BJ at this stage in their respected careers!

(This is if BJ beats George) – If Hughes gets by Serra in April-ish, BJ will just be fighting Kenny at LTWT around the same time(If BJ wins he’ll probably relinquish the LTWT title and move back/remain at WLWT) Then BJ will be facing Alves while Hughes waits and faces BJ after that, meanwhile GSP will face Diego Sanchez for #1 contender status setting up the 3rd and final battle between BJ/GSP for “Ultimate 2009”. While guys like Fitch, Kos, Stun Gun, Yosh, and others scrap out the ladder for the next shot to start next year. I hope the UFC brings in Gilbert Melendez, Gomi, and Nick Diaz for the LTWT division and eventually BJ returns to recapture the LTWT title Randy Couture style, maybe make a new neisi, some good battles with Diaz would be SWEET!!! Maybe have Miguel Torres/U.Faber eventually move up to UFC LTWT status as well to keep things fresh, who know, just my thoughts about the LTWT div’s future and BJ Penn, as always. BJ BJ BJ!!!

The 3rd BJ/GSP fight would probably have to be around the 4th of July 2010, not in “Ultimate 2009”, not enough time. BJ would have to fight GSP, Kenny, Alves, Hughes and be ready for GSP again by December, all in the same year, LoL, my bad on the calculations, and all while George just faught Diego LoL, ADD a rematch for either Fitch or Kos with GSP in there pending some good performances from both. AND extend the time frame to July 4th-ish of 2010. BJ BJ BJ!!!

Im getting sick of Dana putting his face on everything….
MMA should be about the fighters not the over bearing douche that runs the show. I dont buy a ppv to see his shiny head sitting ringside or sitting in a green room during the telecast. Its about the athletes….Be a professional ya Douche!

Wow a lot of Dana haters. I was at the conference in Toronto and I thought it was cool to meet Dana. Definitely not as cool as meeting GSP or BJ but he`s working hard to make the sport legal in Ontario so that`s good enough for me.
