UFC 91 medical suspensions and injuries from NSAC

The Nevada State Athletic Commission recently issued its list of medical suspensions for UFC 91: "Couture vs Lesnar," which took place on Saturday, November 15 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Surprisingly, welterweight fighter Tamdan McCrory was slapped with the stiffest medical sentence - but not for his arm or shoulder, which both took a wrong turn down submission street in his scrap with Dustin Hazelett.
"The Barn Cat" is out until May 15 of 2009 pending an X-ray on his right foot and ankle to rule out any possible fractures.
Jorge Gurgel, too, appears to be a little worse for the wear after his war with Aaron Riley, which also earned him a spot on the sidelines until late spring pending a shoulder MRI and ankle X-ray.
Other notables on the report include Randy Couture for eating multiple ham hocks as well as his opponent, Brock Lesnar, who's out until December 16 with an eye laceration.
Here’s the complete list of UFC 91 injuries and their medical instructions:
Randy Couture –- "The Natural" has been suspended for 60 days after his TKO loss.
Brock Lesnar -– "Ham Hock" is suspended for 30 days to allow his eye laceration to heal.
Josh Hendricks -– "Heavy" is suspended for 30 days after being on the receiving end of a technical knockout.
Tamdan McCrory -– "The Barn Cat" is suspended for 6 months pending multiple X-rays after being turned into Stretch Armstrong.
Aaron Riley -– "Guy Riley" is suspended for 30 days as a result of his three round war with Jorge Gurgel.
Jorge Gurgel -– "Little Richard" is suspended for 6 months and will have to undergo a shoulder MRI and ankle X-ray to determine whether or not he sustained any fractures.
Rafael dos Anjos -– The UFC newcomer is suspended for 60 days for being on the wrong end of a Jeremy Stephens Shoryuken.
Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases.

Surprised Hendricks only got 30 days. His looked worse than Couture’s…but Couture is old I guess.

I allways liked Marcus, but he just couldn’t hack it in the UFC. To be fair they gave him some stiff competition, Guida, Franca, and Griffin, but I really don’t have a problem with the decision.

As you have grossly violated protocol for conferring a new nickname on a fighter, your proposal has been tabled, and the issue will not be revisited.
