Joh Fitch is officially back with the UFC

He spoke personally with Lorenzo fertita and signed the video game deal, still saying he does not appreciate how dana handled the situation.

McNeil is a douche but someone needs to tell Bonnar to clear his throat before speaking. He sounds like he’s gurgling flegm when he talks.

Its tough to say without all the details. Dan lambert, who manages ATT, says the deal isn’t bad. ATT is believed to be one of the other camps that Dana has probs with. He says that the current UFC contracts all include non-exclusive merchandise contracts. If the UFC sells a Thiago Alves shirt, Thiago gets a small profit, but he can sign with other companies to sell Thiago shirts as well. The only exclusiveness is involved in the video game, and the fighters do not recieve any profit. They can’t be a part of any seperate video game. So, john fitch and company can’t produce an AKA all star cagefighter game, which wouldn’t do so well anyways. I think dana’s problem is that they have already hyped this game, and THQ won’t fully sign off until they have all of the top fighters. So by #2 WW Fitch not signing, the only ww opponent for GSP in the game is Alves. THQ has made a trailer, but doesn’t want to dump a lot of production money into creating a full game without having a large enough stable of fighters to make it interesting.

lol, you’re right, I do. I have a 5 year contract in which my medical, dental, vision etc Is 100% paid for! That right there is worth more than a good majority of people make in a year alone! Never mind the fact that my wages are pretty damn goo too! I don’t have to explain what I do to anyone, but choose to keep it real, and like John states, I won’t pull punches! I’m explaining this to you roy, because even though we rarely agree, you seem to have a good grasp of the world, life and mma as a whole.
John, to not sign a contract, basically risk losing 80% of your sponsorship and more importantly, in a nut shell, throw away your career, it’s dumb! Fitch was brought up with many “cup cake” fights, bult a name (though not a big one) and the UFC is the reason why! To compare other contracts to his is irrelevant, roy stated my occupation, but look at my benefit package! Jeff (hope you don’t mind me using you as an example) obviously (I think) has a better job than me, but I’d bet my left nut that he doesn’t have the benefit package I have! My wife works for the government, her package isn’t even equal to 10% of mine! So to mention Swick as an example is dumb, the game is going to have guys “swicking out”, not fitching out!
Like you said before, he’s not going anywhere, but if he is, who does it affect besides him? not me, not you, and not one of the most stacked divisions in the UFC!

lol roy. I got a 5 year contract that pays my benefits (health, dental and vision) 100% yes, 100%. that alone equals more than a lot of people make! I make a good living too. I’m an open book, like John says, I keep it real!
“sign your life away?” how? do you really think he is going to ever make another video game as a character? thats what the bottom line was!

i am just f-ing with you, i am sure you make good money doing what your doing(not as much as me though)and you come with some good stuff i think we just come at it from a different view, i still see you as a dana boy or ufc guy though because you seem to hate on everything else and always seem to side with them, like you said it won’t effect you but why get all involved with the business excuses they don’t effect you either are you a fan of the sport or of dana’s business moves.

i never said sign you life away even though you put it like you where quoting me, i said sign your rights away and why wouldn’t you look into that before you signed it try to get what you can or have a limit on it, you don’t know where mma is going or where john fitch is going thats say in a couple years mma is bigger than anything and there is multiple games or other orgs do make it or john fitch is the champ or something, guess what all his rights to his name and image in a video game are gone. i am not saying he shouldn’t but i would try not too as well, unless someone forces you to you wouldn’t either.
