UFC 94 media tour with Georges St. Pierre and BJ Penn to hit Canada and Hawaii

Props: UFC.com
Quoteworthy:
"... Toronto and Honolulu get ready, UFC® President Dana White is coming to town along with UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre and UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn to formally announce UFC 94: ST-PIERRE vs. PENN 2 – the incredible rematch that fans have been waiting for.... On Tuesday, November 18, St-Pierre, Penn and White will head to downtown Toronto for a public press conference and autograph signing at the Scotiabank Theatre Toronto (formerly Paramount Theatre).... On Friday, November 21, the trio will land on the Big Island and hit Honolulu for a public press conference and free viewing party at the Waikiki Shell."
The public relations media blitz for UFC 94: "St. Pierre vs. Penn 2," which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 31 will kickoff next week with a pair of public press conferences for the monster Super Bowl weekend show. In Toronto, doors at the Scotiabank Theatre Toronto will open at 9 a.m. ET and in Honolulu three days later doors will open at 4 p.m. local time. Fans are invited to attend at no cost and will receive free t-shirts while supplies last, as well as will be able to get some autographs. Sounds awesome.

They already know they’re gonna get buys from Montreal. Same with Hilo. So they’re going to the biggest markets in Canada and Hawaii, respectively.

I agree Rob but the reality is Dana is a big part of the UFC…hence we all watch his video blogs for a reason, like him or hate him.

I am SOOOOOO there! Nice to see they are coming to Toronto, maybe to show the interest so we can have a show done here :)
Funny how nobody here is talking about going to the Honolulu appearance.

I can’t wait, I actually have next week off so I’ll be there for sure. I can’t wait, I want to get my UFC 83 tickets auto’d. Hopefully they’ll have 8×10′s to get auto’d as well. I wouldn’t mind getting an autograph from both fighters.

Mania, I couldn’t find this story on UFC.com. Can you double-check that it’s 9AM and not 9PM? Thanks. I don’t want to have to get up early for nothing lol.

I would say that this was publicized well! I guess atleast for major UFC fans! The information was broadcast below the screen of the UFC 91 event where Lesnar won the hw belt! Better for the people like me who went that all of Toronto was not informed of this. It was surprising that there were not thousands of people! I got down there at 8:30 think i had no chance in hell in getting in the doors when i remember what i went through in Montreal to get some pics and autographs!
