Can’t say I agree with Mir’s opinion that Randy has the advantage in stamina and wrestling over Lesnar. I don’t see how even a world-class wrestler can give away 40-50 pounds and still out-wrestle someone who is also an exceptional wrestler. And don’t discount Brock’s stamina. Say what you want about WWE, but Lesnar has been through lots of long and brutal matches there that lasted a hell of a lot longer than 25 minutes.

Mir knows he cant beat Randy, and he doesnt want to see Brock, who he just beat defeat Couture.
Mir = Ultimate Hater! I mean the douch was getting mad that Nogs team was screaming and cheering. What do you expect they just won a thousand bucks. Most of those dudes are probably broke up and comers. 1000 bucks meant a lot to them so let them Cheer. Fag Mir!

whoa PW, was he involved in a “hell in the cell?” lmao! How can you not give a wrestling edge to someone who was an olympic level wrestler over an ncaa champ? If Brock was this elite, why didn’t he go to the olympics? I also know for a fact that Randy has bigger, stronger, younger wrestlers at his camp, the wrestling will be a non factor!

Brock didnt go to the olympics Kevin, cause he took a 250K + a signing bonus contract from the WWE!
by JV on Nov 14, 2008 11:21 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
250k or wrestling for your country at the highest level…easy decision, you know why, if he was half the wrestler he thinks he is the signing bonus would be a million after he captured gold! How very patriotic of him. I want Randy to win even more now!!!

That’s why I said ‘say what you want about the WWE.’ I’ve known since I was about 24 that the outcomes are predetermined, but the fact remains that cage/hell in a cell matches that headline PPVs can be absolutely brutal and very long. Why do you think all the wrestlers are addicted to pain killers? I think the bigger question will be Randy’s conditioning, since he’s going to have a 280-pound man riding him the whole time.

you were 24 before you realized that the wwe was fake? in that case i have some shocking news that your not gonna like… santa isn’t real my friend. i know. i was devistated when i found out and i’m 27 so i know how hurt you must be right now. Hahahahahaha!

You say one negative word about the Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy and we will have serious problems, my friend. Serious problems, indeed.
by PW on Nov 14, 2008 12:56 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
i also think that wrestlers are addicted to pain killers because of the mental anguish associated with knowing that there are 24 year olds who believe that there performances are real. hahahahahahaha!

PW said it right. Can anyone imagine Randy gassing? Lesnar’s game i.e top control doesn’t require speed or athleticism only size and good base. So randy’s training with large guys should suffice when it comes to the “He’s so much bigger though” dilemma. We’ll see but I for one cant imagine a universe where randy gasses.

“I also know for a fact that Randy has bigger, stronger, younger wrestlers at his camp”
Care to name one? Randy doesn’t have anyone near the package that Brock brings.
I doubt he has a good wrestler as big as Brock. Stronger, maybe, but I doubt that too. Younger, I’ll give you that one.
Even so, you obviously don’t know this “for a fact”.

So when they were talking about junie and him staying around, Dana says hes wasn’t kicked off for reason. Is it because Phillipe gets a HL reel KO over him thats totally awesome? I don’t see the potential in this kid. Yeah he can fight, but can he fight at a pro(UFC) level? Doubt it! He is a “mental midget” IMO. What do you maniacs think?

I was big fan of wrestling growing in the Hulk Hogan era. Wrestlers {fake} compete every week as supposed to every 3 months or so in mma and leting some 300+ monster body slam you every week takes its toll. It’s predetermined who wins but the slams are real the pain is real and the steroids are obvious. Brock might be younger but Randy has taken better care of himself.

silly stuff about Tito Ortiz.. Dana doesn’t know if he can sell fights with Ortiz? hahaha. Tito still puts more asses inside arenas and more PPV buyers than almost anyone because he knows how to handle media and is the best at it in MMA, Dana knows that he’s just blinded by his personal feelings.. Dana doesn’t want Tito in the UFC because he is taking the attention that Dana wants and the attention that he wants the other media untrained fighters to have..
by RoB on Nov 14, 2008 12:37 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
i think tito’s days of selling out arenas is long gone. does anyone really want to see tito fight and listen to him run his mouth anymore? i don’t.
by jonsey on Nov 14, 2008 1:02 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
well, you’re wrong.. Tito has good control over media and a strong fan base that won’t go away, Dana just needs to look through things and use Tito the right way.. It should be the same for everyone, money rules and Tito’s showing the UFC their money just like Brock Lesnar is.. Dana has to be willing to handle stars that demands money for drawing fans to the UFC, you can’t shut everyone down that wants to get good paydays! that is becoming more important the bigger the UFC gets.. u don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that Dana’s plan was to make Tito vs Machida to make Tito look bad and then try to turn media against him to basically end his career! so that he wouldn’t have a reason to resign him.
by RoB on Nov 14, 2008 2:24 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
and it’s not just about Tito i can’t believe they let Werdum go and all the other guys that have left because of money and they come up with bs stories to blame the fighter.. Brock Lesnar 1st round KO!
