JOHN. i heard randleman might fight barnett on jan 4th as well and am interested in seeing this “baby fedor” kiril that you keep bringing up. i think BJM 1rst coined that phrase(baby fedor) for uriah faber. i am somewhat worried about Affliction pulling off there 2nd show from what ive been reading around the net. i talk alot of trash about Affliction sometimes, but i desperatley want to see fedor/arlovski and Affliction is the only org poised to do it. i am keeping my fingers crossed and would like to know where i can watch some of this kiril sidelinkov. mmascraps perhaps?

Nate Quarry is being rumored as the next coach on TUF vs Bisping if hendo or rich doesnt work out. it sounds like they are having a back-up plan.

In the mist of a legal battle over the bones of ProElite, Showtime is already looking get back in MMA by backing Affliction in its upcoming fight card Affliction "Day of Reckoning" on Jan. 24th. Showtime will partner with Oscar De La Hoya’s company Golden Boy to produce and distribute the PPV.
Showtime Sports won’t let a dispute with its former mixed martial arts promotional partner keep it from broadcasting the sport as soon as January, SI.com has learned.
The premium cable network, in conjunction with Golden Boy Promotions, will distribute and produce Affliction’s Jan. 24 pay-per-view card topped by a five-round fight between WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC titleholder Andrei Arlovski.
Official announcement will come Monday, confirmed Affliction Vice President Tom Atencio. [SI.com]

No BW, its true. Showtime is going to produce it ppv event.
BW: There is an m-1global website, I forget what its called but it has all of Kiril’s fight. Look up m-1global websites and you will probably find it. If I can remember the name I will let you know.
I heard the randleman rumor also. I hope its BigFoot instead of the monster that faces Barnett

grew up s. of worcester. I moved to FL in 2000, sold my house in MA in 2005, lost everything in a hurricane in FL in 2004 and have been in CA for 3 years!
by kevin on Nov 13, 2008 3:07 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
no kiddin. i grew up on the cape. i just moved to sw florida this year but plan on moving back to somewhere in mass.
by allamerican on Nov 13, 2008 3:45 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
KEVIN. i lived in daytona during 04 and had the same thing happen to me. 1rst a pretty bad tropical storm, then back to back hurricanes (cant remember the names) in like 8 week peroid and to leave completely. i lived on ft.myers beach from 99 to 02 and loved it and never saw anything more than a few mild tropical storms. (i missed andrew by a year). ON TOPIC: that scab on randy’s ear is pretty gross and his sht is starting to look a bit more saggy. i still havent decided who i think is gonna win that fight yet though and wouldnt bet against randy when he is the underdog.
by b.w. on Nov 13, 2008 3:47 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
lived 30 minutes north of ft myers, had “charlie” come over my house. actual eye of storm right over house with us in it, scariest thing in my life. Lucky for me my dad has a condo in lauderdale, we had no power for almost a month. National guard was out with guns. very tough time!
I went to college in jacksonville, went to daytona a few times!

they are scary as hell. like a bunch of mini tornados all at once. the 1rst time i saw a water spout i freaked out. i though it was a tornado, people knew quick that i hadnt lived in fla for long. :)
by b.w. on Nov 13, 2008 4:16 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Isn’t a waterswpout a tornado over water? Always something I’m fascinated with on t.v., but would never, never want to see in person. If I can see it with my own eyes, that means I’m too close. And we used to get a ton of them when I lived in Virginia’s Northern Neck.

no shit. i grew up on the cape. i moved to florida this year but im going back to mass in the spring.

lol, I went to rehab (twice) on the cape! we used to vacation there often…where in FL?

Suck it up Mir. Don’t be too upset that the guy you just beat is getting the title shot while you shoot for the interim. (I’d be pissed too.) And quit acting so cocky. Your colors are starting to show on TUF and you seem pretty pissy towards Nog.
by RyanHobbs on Nov 13, 2008 3:40 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
uhh he was pretty damn neutral in that video. Anymore neutral and he’d have to be in Sweden. fighting for the interim or the regular title makes no difference so quit acting like it does! Neither of the four fighters will be champion until the tournament is completed so it really doesn’t matter what the name of the title they are fighting for is called.
by Anthony on Nov 13, 2008 4:36 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
haha “he’d have to be in sweden” i agree that’s true and i know that for a fact since i live in sweden..
by RoB on Nov 13, 2008 5:43 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Me too :)
But its kind of funny, thats one of the things sweden are “known” for.
by C_mon choke him on Nov 14, 2008 4:14 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
yep hehe, and it’s not exactly a good thing to be known for.

I used to deal with them when i worked in dietary for a nursing home. I was wondering as well to how u were a pats fan. I’m in nc, moved here a year and a half ago from long island. Can’t stand the panthers…..and there annoying fans! It’s going to b a good game tonight, i hope u don’t put anything on the pats! Sorry 2 hear about the hurrican, that really sux! I was in New Orleans @ the time of the evecuation for Katrina. It was absolutly nuts!

am i the only one that can see randys face clearly starting to look old he looked good in the sylvia fight now he looks like hes a 55 year old
by Jared on Nov 13, 2008 4:04 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
Randy is and always has been over-rated and honestly not even exciting to watch unless he’s getting knocked out
by McArthur on Nov 13, 2008 4:26 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
If by over rated you mean set up to lose on multiple occasions, but pulls off the win, yeah, he’s over rated!
by kevin on Nov 13, 2008 4:28 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
What the heck are you talking about? Have you not seen Randy smash Chuck? Tito? Gabe Gonzaga (just a little over a year ago)?
by Eric on Nov 13, 2008 4:49 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I noticed that too. It seems like he has aged quite a bit in the last year. Maybe lawsuits, and that idiot wife, have caught up to him.

mir NEVER uses his pinky to hold a microphone. pisses me off.
by ActionJackson on Nov 13, 2008 4:21 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
How do you notice that? Now it pisses me off to just bc I can’t stand the prick!
by BOW on Nov 13, 2008 4:32 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
he lifts his pinky when he claps on TUF all of the time. Very annoying.

Be careful guys. You can run, but Frank can run faster…you can jump, but Frank can jump higher…you can swim, but Frank can swim faster…you can hide, but Frank has X-Ray vision…you can’t beat SuperFrank.
…unless of course you have a source for kryptonite.
by introvert on Nov 13, 2008 4:26 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
except the fact that he cant swim…
but funny stuff anyway.

I just want randy to win this fight. Some people are writing off Lesnar because he’s new but he’s strong, the strongest Randy’s ever faced. And there’s been alot of big guys that controlled Randy, but the main thing I want to see is if Lesnar connects how well will Couture take it.
by Jared on Nov 13, 2008 4:58 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
You’re right Jared, Randy’s always struggled against good wrestlers, and Brock is the best wrestler Randy’s ever faced (maybe the best ever in MMA).
Brock takes it.

I have thought mir was a douche before tuf and everyone seemed offended when i voiced that. i will admit that him snapping tim’s arm made me like him as a fighter, but i hate him as a person.
