they should have put lesnar/couture and stevenson/florian on this card, and made nov 15th fight night

MMA history!!

by mikeybear on Nov 8, 2008 11:12 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Completely agree. That would no doubt be arguably the best card ever put together.

by JaSwin420 on Nov 8, 2008 12:36 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’m more excited to watch UFC 92 than 91, just a much better card of names.

by THORAZINE on Nov 8, 2008 9:05 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Agreed, 91 is a freakshow except for the Maia fight. Wand, Nog and Rashad will take 92.

by NameNotRequired on Nov 9, 2008 4:13 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Rashad is going to be the undefeated champ after this…can’t wait!!!

by Buster Bluth on Nov 8, 2008 10:12 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

i really really wan’t to disagree with you but I don’t think I can, I will be rooting 4 forest but I don’t think he has the advantage in this fight, I can see Evans holding him down for most of the fight. I can’t count forest out after he just beat shogun and rampage but i think it will be a very hard fight for him, hopefully he can keep it standing and use his reach to keep evans from getting the takedown but evans has fast hands and if he can land a punch like he did on liddell its all over. I see this one going all 5, probably evans by UD but I hope not

Forrest will put to rest all rumors if he’s a legit champ or not. War Alfred E Neumann!!

by Syd[a.k.a. "The Negation"] on Nov 8, 2008 11:26 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Forrest will come in with a great game plan for rashad, just like he did against rampage, and shogun.

by onthebutton on Nov 8, 2008 12:12 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I am s ick of hearing all the crap about Forrest and his game plan! Beat it, that wont be the deciding factor at all. Rashad trains under greg Jackson who’s gameplans aren’t too shabby either.

Randy’s gameplans wont carry Forrest forever. RASHAD IS A TOUGH MATCH UP FOR fORREST. Only way I see Forrest winning is if he pulls a sub off his back. HOwever, this fight is DESTINED to go to a decision. I am not to excited about this fight at all. This is one of the least intruiging title fight in the LHW division in a long time. I just dont care for it! I hope Rashad wins, but I really dont care.

Wandy vs. Rampage is what tickles my Fancy! lol

by john on Nov 8, 2008 2:01 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Rashad has shown 1 punch KO power…in devastating fashion…how can you not be excited to possibly see him do it again? I know a lot of people are calling for a decision here but Rashad has really gained a lot of hand speed and I think that his hand speed is going to be what wins him this fight. I think Forrest is going to eat some serious punches.

This fight won’t be unlike Forrest/Jardine. Rashad is going to rock him his some combos then take him down and feed him punches until the ref hauls him off in the 3rd round.

I agree that the only was I see Forrest winning is by submission. Rashad has never shown much in terms of submission defense on;y because he’s never been in any danger of getting subbed.

Wandy and Rampage is a huge fight and I can see why most people are more excited for that…but I’m excited for this one being the biggest Rashad fan this site has ever seen…hahaha!

WAR SUGA!!!!

by Buster Bluth on Nov 8, 2008 2:54 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

rashad is garbage and hasnt beaten anybody legit… he knocked out chuck lidell who made a HUGE amateur mistake and thats it… who else has he beaten decisively? every one of his fights go to decision, and close ones at that, forrest by submission

by brendan on Nov 8, 2008 4:35 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

there’s no way forest will under-estimate evans’ hands like chuck did, the chances of him landing a shot like that again are slim, chuck had no respect for evans’ power at all and didn’t care about getting hit by him because he thought he could take it, I think forest will use his reach and pick him appart but i don’t think he will finish evans, if evans does get it to the ground i think forest will be able to get back up. I’m actually looking forward to this fight and this is gonna be an awsome card. I’m finding it hard 2 pick a winner in evans vs forest but I’m thinkin mir will beat nog, i think their bjj skills will cancel each other out and i think mir will have the advantage on the feet, i expect this could go 2 a decision if mir comes in shape i think he’ll win it. and i’ve got rampage over wandi but i think thats gonna be an unbelivable fight and is probably the one i’m looking forward to most.

by hughes on Nov 8, 2008 5:07 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Greg Jackson gameplan > Handy Couture gameplan. Ask chuck. Also Forrest doesn’t have a unique skill like most champions.

by NameNotRequired on Nov 9, 2008 4:12 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

he wont land that same shot on forrest cause forrest knows how to keep his hands up

by Ted on Nov 8, 2008 4:34 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

finally the trailer to the best card ever:D

by Jared on Nov 8, 2008 10:13 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

Another Republican gets K.O.ed by a Democrate,go “Sugar” !

by Tony from Brooklyn on Nov 8, 2008 11:04 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

Wow, just to say the Democrats won, you actually have to make the Rashad-Barack reference…

What’s a democrate?

by Psyqo78®™ on Nov 8, 2008 9:29 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Rampage…We hardly knew thee. haha. Is too bad hes gonna get SPANKED by Wanderlei Silva! And hopefully Forrest wins…Just depends if Rashad tweaks the nips before the fight. lol.

by bringbackGuillard on Nov 8, 2008 11:06 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

Doesn’t matter even if rashad tweaks the nips. He’s goin’ down in a unanimous decision loos, his 1st loss ever!

by Syd[a.k.a. "The Negation"] on Nov 8, 2008 11:28 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

well ill agree with you there. i just sayin dude. the nip tweak works..some crazy shizz.

by bringbackGuillard on Nov 8, 2008 11:52 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

No prob bringbackguillard. I just want Rashad to lose!;)

by Syd[a.k.a. "TheNegation"] on Nov 8, 2008 9:49 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

chuck got sloppy with rashad and forrest is on a renaissance as a fighter; forrest wins by either decision or tko.

by JB on Nov 8, 2008 11:08 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

It’s a good solid card, wouldn’t say the best of the year. i was at UFC 84. That to me was the best card ever. I just don’t really care to much about seein Mir/nogueria.

by Liddell-Marquardt-GSP-Sherk on Nov 8, 2008 11:22 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

I would have to agree I was also at UFC 84 and that is a tough card to beat.

by Mike on Nov 8, 2008 12:24 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

agreed! Any card that has Frank Mir in a title fight, simply can not be the card of the year. Mir has beaten Hardonk and Lesnar (1st fight)….some how I dont see how that qualifies him for a title shot! Frank “My career has been a whole smokescreen” Mir! What a JOKE!!! Has he ever fought more than 3 minutes without gassing?

Mir is the heavyweight version of Travis Lutter. Nog is going to destroy him in the stand up, and out position him on the ground.

I honestly believe that Nog is going to get a TKO win over this imposter!

by john on Nov 8, 2008 1:58 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I love the Lutter/Mir comparison…very accurate.

by Buster Bluth on Nov 9, 2008 8:11 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

wow wow wow can’t say anything more.. IF anything this is the biggest fights EVER int he history of UFC- until they can make fedor vs randy possible

by ricky on Nov 8, 2008 12:35 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Can’t wait to see Silva “the axe murderer” destroy Rampage “the baby murderer”.

Also Can’t wait to see Forrest destroy Rashad.

by wow on Nov 8, 2008 12:47 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Rampage “the baby murderer” Jackson LOL. I used to be a big Rampage fan, but what a piece of crap he turned out to be. There is no excuses for his insane police baby killing RAMPAGE- I hope he loses every first here on out, he lost alot of fans.

Keep up man!

I asked who you think is gonna win the fight dude!

I think that Forrest will definitely pulll this one off. I mean the guy is coming off some great wins (and very tough competiton!). Rashad is a gamer but i don’t think that he has the tools to dismantle Griffin. Rashad comes off the ko of Liddell, but fans should not forget that Chuck made a big mistake by not keeping his hands up. Forrest does not make that mistake. ever. Especially after that Jardine fight. I have Forest by DECISION.

BY THE WAY; CHECK OUT RANDY’S FIRST FIGHT INTHE UFC. IT WAS AGAINST A DUDE THAT WAS 6’4, 300 POUNDS!

by CARNAGE on Nov 8, 2008 1:47 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Carnage…. you have put that on every thread today. The only thing Halme has comparative to Brock is his size. Thats it….. they can’t be compared…… I do agree on the Forrest part though.

I believe MIr will win. Big NOg lost to ricco rodriguez but the corrupt officials at Pride boldly stole it from Ricco.
And i HATE RIcco but the man was robbed str8 up!

I BELIEVE HE CAN KNOCK HIM OUT. GUYS DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHEN HEATH HERRING KNOCKED THE PUBIC HAIR OFF OF BIG NOG?
THE GUY DOESN’T HAVE A GOOD CHIN.
MIR CAN SUBMIT HIM , BUT IT’S GOING TO BE HARD AGAINST THE CALIBER OF JJ THAT NOG HAS
