i’d find it convenient to have her in a guillotine.

Im kind of leaning towards Joe Daddy in this one. Neither fighter will be able to submit the other, I see the difference being that Joe will be able to put Kenny on his back and keep him there while avoiding submissions from Kenny’s guard.
Joe Daddy is right when he said that he is sick of Kenny talking about how he finishes fights. Joe daddy has finished way more fights than Kenny has!

Kenny may get put on his back, but Kenny is also due to slice someone up with some elbows. The last time Joe bleed it didn’t work out so good. Kenny shoud be able to sweep Joe, get back to his feet and use his striking to get a UD.

YOu bring up a great point about the elbows and Daddy is going to have to watch out for them because like you said, last time he was sliced open he seemed to Panic and it didnt work out in his favor.
I would like to bring up a few young fighters that NEVER get any coverage on thi8s site. YOu guys need to check out Fedor’s protegee: Kirril Silidenekof and Ivan Emelienenko (the lil brother).
Watch some footage on these 2 up and coming studs when you guys get the chance

Kenny has 10 career wins, 9 by stoppage or 90 percent. Joe Daddy has 29 career wins, 19 by stoppage or 65.5 percent. So it’s not totally fair to just say Joe Daddy has finished way more fights than Kill-Flo because he’s been in way more fights. I’m looking for Kill-Flo to make it 10 stopages in 11 wins when he uses his kill-bows to carve up Joe Daddy for a 2nd round TKO.

i hear you PW, but I feel that he hasnt really finished anyone impressive. Who has he finished that I should give a damn about? Sam Stout and Joe Lauzon (with help of illegal blows to the back of the head). those are really his only impressive wins.
I am not impressed with Din tHomas blowing out his knee, or the Alvin Robinson fight. Dokonjonosuke Mishima isnt a top 20 fighter. Kit Cope doesnt do anything for me.
When you break down his opponents, Kenny hasnt really finished many people that matter. He losses to most of his toughest opponents: Diego (I know the weight class issues), Fickett. Sherk.
We havent truly seen Kenny finish anyone that matters
I dont think either fighter will be dominant, but IMO slight edge goes to Stevenson

John, most of their competition can be placed at about the same level, if anything I would say some of Joe’s earlier victories are over far less impressive opponents then most of Kenny’s wins. Also they both hold submission wins over Dokonjonosuke Mishima so discrediting him is totally irrelevant.

I dont mean to discredit Kenny. I am a fan of both fighters, its just that only 1 guy can win and Im trying to figure out who has the most impressive credentials.
Joe Daddy has finished tough kats like Gleison Tibau, Batman, Melvin, Yves. Not meaning to bash Kenny, I just feel more impressed with Joe’s resume then I am with Kenny’s. Keep in mind that Resume’s dont mean much once the cage door slams shut, I am just bringing it up for analytical purposes

You are correct that Joe has finished more fights, but he also has substantially more fights in his career with a record of 29-8-0 compared to Kenny’s 10-3-0. Examining just their winning stats; Joe has 29 wins with 19 finishes and 10 decisions which means in all of his victories he has finished fights 65% of the time. Kenny however in his 10 wins has 9 finishes which gives him a 90% finish rate. There for Kenny finishes fights 25% more of the time.

Kenny finishes B-level fighters for the most part

Joe’s competition has been on the same level. In their wins what competition of Joe’s stands out over the competition of Kenny’s?

Stevenson:
Key WINS: Tibau, Melvin, Yves, Pellegrino
Key Losses: Josh Neer, Bj Penn
Florian:
Key Wins: Huerta, Lauzon, Sam Stout
Key Losses: Sherk, Sanchez, Fickett
Its close, but I would give a slight edge to Joe Daddy when it comes to a better resume. They are really on the same level. Both havent shown the ability to get over the hump. They were both dominated by elite competition (sherk, Penn).

Should be a simple task for him….his jui jitsu is sick!
I think florian takes this fight and with flying colors. His muy tai is unreal, his cardio is unreal and his ground game is one of my fav in MMA. Stevenson is awesome to. He has heart, but his stubby little arms wont help him in this one…Florian by unanimous desc

unless he gets those little stubby’s around that pencil neck of Kenny’s….then its zzzzzzzzz for kenny

I like Kenny in this fight just because I think he has more ways to win. I think he has the potential to beat Joe by TKO, submission or decision, while I can only see Joe barely winning a decision or catching Kenny in a guillotine. I also want to see Kenny win simply because I don’t want to see BJ-Stevenson 2 at this point. I think Kenny’s skill set would make for a more interesting fight, even though I think BJ would be a big favorite.

Stevenson is sooooooo overrated. all he has in his arsenal is the guillotine choke! Florian wins by decision or stoppage to do cut on stevenson.

I wonder if referring to Joanne as my girlfriend would eventually make it true.

I’ve been surprised how successful Joe Stevenson has been with the guillotine choke which in my humble opinion is on of the most easy subs to submit from. I think his strength, short arms, and his stockiness really helps him crank. My money’s still on Kenny though!

I like Joe, but am going wth Kenny on this one. I think Kenny will have too much technique for Joe. Either way, should be a great fight.

this will go to decision and we’ll never have to hear about kenny finishing fights again. kenny is gonna pick joe appart on the feet all night just like he did huerta.
by jonsey on Nov 5, 2008 11:55 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
He didnt pick Huerta apart. lol I think that Joe will have a much better shot from the ground game. If he tries to trade, it will be a much longer night. Unless of course he lands a really good shot. Just doubtful.
Im going Kenny UD.

That chick choked with me once, too.
More of a gag reflex thing though.

Stevenson takes this one. At least I hope. WHy is Kenny always on this “girls” MMA thing?

My brain says Kenny, but my gut says Joe. It’s a really tough one to call. I’m leaning toword Kenny right now, but I have no idea.
