I’ve always thought Filho was way over-rated, Sonnen has shown a lot of class and determination over the years to become a better fighter… I think he’s gonna’ get the ‘W’ unless of course Filho gets the submission hold again.

I thought Sonnen despite loosing he exposed Filho as somewhat overrated. I hope he wins this time but really not a big fan of either fighter. I guess I like to see a KO so I’m on Sonnen side for this one.

I’d love to see Sonnen win, but he’s going to end up in a cast before things are said and done. Not tapping is only going to get his arm broke. The ref saved him from a cast last time they fought.

doomdoom, I don’t think there’s a lot of hate for Filho, fans are just realizing he’s not as good as everyone was giving him credit for, his submission game is awesome, but a good GnP fighter can still get plenty of strikes in and possibly end it by cuts, his standup game isn’t that technical… plus he’s got freakin’ ‘MIKE TYSON’ tattoo on his arm… LOL

Good stuff Thorazine. I completely agree. Filho is widely considered the #2 MW in the world, and he doesn’t look that good. All the time off doesn’t help him either.

Sonnen always comes off well in his interviews,, when I 1st saw that homely looking broad doing the interview I said ‘yipes’… but she was actually a GOOD interviewer!… much better than those hot MMA babes’…. I’m torn between a good interviewer homely chick or a bad interviewer but hot looking babe?…

Chael always seems like a pretty classy guy. Good interview. I would have been interested in hearing what he thought about his weight class being dissolved, potentially (but not a given) right after he wins the title.

I’m a big fan of both fighters but a bigger Paulo fan. He did not look good last time in the least but yet was still dangerous enough to put Chael in a position were the fight was stopped. I don’t know if that is a good thing for Paulo or a bad thing. You have to wonder if Paulo’s subpar efforts last time were a direct result of his ‘personal issues’.
