Been pretty impressed by this guy so far. He’s got amazing takedowns and his GnP isn’t something you really wanna mess with.
I’d like to see how he handles a better BJJ fighter. Silva’s good, yes. But not at that Elite level.

Fabio S. has the worst wrestling ever so this was a wrestler vs striker in the strictest sense of the word. But I agree, i wanna see him against someone with excellent bjj but decent standup.

Really prefer MMA in a cage as opposed to a ring.

Yeah, I am in the same boat as you. Just makes more sense. the ring is great for boxing but doesn’t translate in MMA to me. Some of the best fights have been in the ring but I still would have prefered them to be in a cage.

I still can’t believe that people hold mma fights in a ring these days. The ring always becomes a problem when the fight is on the ground.

You can corner your opponent and it is MUCH better for the audience – since there is no cage obstucting their view.

Plus, you will never see Japanese fights in a cage. Something about the culture. Animals belong in a cage, not people?

I’d like to see him fight in the UFC so he can use elbows. He’s got great GnP already, but with that addition I think he could be even more dominant on the ground.

Yes, but this was only his 2nd fight. He has loads of potential. He was on Inside MMA last week and I was really impressed with him and his personality. I am a fan of MO

You can say alot about Sengoku, but they are dedicated to making new MMA talent (with Mo, Izumi, Xande, Roger) and they mix nicely with their established names (Barnett, Gomi, Misaki, Yoshida, little Nog). It is good stuff.
