The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today announced the final line up for its New Year's Eve pay-per-view (PPV) special, which is slated for the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 27.

This is the blockbuster year-end pay-per-view (PPV) event for the promotion, which features three ridiculous bouts atop the fight card, as well as several other intriguing match ups.

UFC 92 features the second half of the heavyweight tournament undisputed title eliminator between interim division champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir in the main event, as well as the light heavyweight championship bout between 205-pound title holder Forrest Griffin and Rashad Evans.

And, of course, arch enemies Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Wanderlei Silva will collide for the third time in a light heavyweight clash between two of the most exciting and hard-hitting fighters in the sport.

Here is the complete UFC 92 fight card:

205 lbs.: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (28-7) vs. Wanderlei Silva (32-8-1)
265 lbs.: Cheick Kongo (12-4-1) vs. Mustafa Al-Turk (6-3)

Under card (May not be broadcast):

Why would they make rampage/silva before cb’s fight?

by killswitch on Oct 30, 2008 8:23 PM EDT reply actions

I don’t think that will be the actual order of the card.

by Ian on Oct 30, 2008 8:33 PM EDT up reply actions

i think i’ gonna pass out, this card is the best..wait.. the ultimate 2008!
holy-sh!t !
this card should of had huerta vs diaz on it.

by mikeybear on Oct 30, 2008 11:12 PM EDT up reply actions

the card of the year..
they should have added huerta vs diaz

cb should not even be o the main televised event.. okimi/lister more like it

by mikeybear on Oct 30, 2008 11:14 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, C.B. is an odd name to see along with the rest of the guys on the card. I would rather see him on the undercard. I would rather see Okami on the card.

by naturalshadow on Oct 31, 2008 3:45 AM EDT up reply actions

Yea C.B. onthe main card is rediculous.

by mmafreak on Oct 31, 2008 11:10 AM EDT up reply actions

Man, Okami is getting the shaft rather hard. This is absurd. He should get out and make bank somewhere else.

by NameNotRequired on Oct 30, 2008 8:51 PM EDT up reply actions

fo real… having CB dolloway vs Massenzio above him on the televized card is ridiculous, wasnt he supposed to fight for the title? now hes not even televized? jeez…

by brendan on Oct 30, 2008 8:56 PM EDT up reply actions

I agree… I’d like to see Okami vs CB someday. I think Okami would win but it could be entertaining. I’d really like to see Okami vs Bisping. All that aside, is this the best UFC card ever? 3 monster fights!

by 1-0 via Arm Triangle on Oct 30, 2008 10:58 PM EDT up reply actions

put cb on the undercard and lets see that okami fight. chonan v blackburn or even the hamill fight…. ANYBODY but 7-7 cb!!

by bird-dog on Oct 30, 2008 9:28 PM EDT up reply actions

No secret here that Okami is a boring-@ss fighter but I also have a problem with putting CB above him. CB can’t even defend an armbar and most of America doesn’t want to look at his upper-lip. Also, anyone else have a problem with Nogueira v Mir not being the main event? That’s crazy.

by RedDog on Oct 30, 2008 10:16 PM EDT up reply actions

or even co-main event

by RedDog on Oct 30, 2008 10:16 PM EDT up reply actions

Mania,
Im pretty sure CB is 7-2 and not 7-7.
either way dudes a douche.

by The Killer on Oct 30, 2008 10:28 PM EDT up reply actions

cb beat hans “i win every fight by armbar” marrero. beat nick klein who attempted an armbar every 5 seconds. beat tim credeur who is really good at armbars. so i would say hes decent at defending it

by teddy on Oct 30, 2008 10:54 PM EDT up reply actions

teddy, didn’t he lose to Amir via armbar two consecutive times?

by chefdaddy on Oct 31, 2008 8:58 AM EDT up reply actions

Okami is for sure getting shafted here. The guy has only been beaten by Franklin which was a decision. He should be on the televised card well above CB. Also I think the Nog Mir fight should at least be Co Main Event. That fight is going to be way more exciting than Griffen Evans.

by Cogito Ergo Sum on Oct 31, 2008 10:19 AM EDT up reply actions

I believe the CB match is the required bathroom match that every pay-per-view

by dandeman on Oct 31, 2008 1:05 PM EDT up reply actions

The cb fight is probably a swing bout that can be moved depending on time allotment. If all the other fights go to decisions, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was after the main event, like Florian vs Robinson

by yohnstoppable on Oct 31, 2008 1:17 PM EDT up reply actions

Im going to buy this event just for Rampage-Silva and to watch Al-Turk to destroy Kongo. Although I think that the undercard is more attractive then the main card, Okami-Lister + Hardonk-Burch + Hamill-Andy + Chonan-Blackburn…. YES PLEASE

by medecine balls on Oct 30, 2008 8:29 PM EDT reply actions

thats fuckin bull crap. take dolloways sorry ass off the main card and put lister vs okami on the main card. thats the middle weight #1 contender fight i am sure.

by Austin on Oct 30, 2008 8:36 PM EDT reply actions

this is one of the best cards ever!
Right on!

by DrewZel on Oct 30, 2008 8:36 PM EDT reply actions

Exactly. Bigger than Randy and Brock

by onthebutton on Oct 30, 2008 8:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Great night except CB on the main card?
How does that 2xTUF loser CB get on a main card with this calibre of fighters?
4 of 5 or perhaps all of the fights on the undercard will be better.

by Talkman on Oct 30, 2008 8:37 PM EDT reply actions

okami should be on the main card and cb n mazzenzio should be on the under… thats the best card of the year… on paper anyways… hamill vs. anderson instead of andy..do it up dana

by j-bone on Oct 30, 2008 8:39 PM EDT reply actions

I completely agree If okami wins then he is essentially the number 1 contender for andersons belt, but his fight not being televised practically nixes that possibility. For the most part that kind of a jump just doesnt happen. Ill be highly disappointed (or as disappointed as one can be after such a great card) if I do not see okami v lister.

by Scott on Oct 30, 2008 8:52 PM EDT up reply actions

So based on recent history which of the main events will have a fighter injured in training and replaced 2 weeks before the fight?

by scott on Oct 30, 2008 8:50 PM EDT reply actions

I would love to see another W. Silva knockout of Jackson via knees

by rydinlow on Oct 30, 2008 8:53 PM EDT reply actions

what a sick card except the forrest rashad fight neither will be champ for long after whoever wins, for once i’ll cheer for forrest i guess since rashad is the biggest douche in mma

by LG on Oct 30, 2008 8:56 PM EDT reply actions

The nipple-twisters are on an amazing streak right now. I’ve been having arguments with my neighbor over the dog barking…I twisted my nips, knocked on his door, and beat his @ss. It was incredible.

by RedDog on Oct 30, 2008 10:18 PM EDT up reply actions

hahaha, hilarious.

by tripleainto on Oct 30, 2008 11:32 PM EDT up reply actions

This is BS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a petition I created to get Yushin on the Main Card

by Rebelo on Oct 30, 2008 9:01 PM EDT reply actions

Why is CB on televised part???Okami vs Lister should definitely be there instead of anything that has to do with CB!

by Khaos_Warrior on Oct 30, 2008 9:03 PM EDT reply actions

Anyone remember what Silva said(after Cote fight) verbatim would nice…
RE: “people don’t know what we go through as fighters”???
I need to quote him on my website.

by Ground-Game on Oct 30, 2008 9:10 PM EDT reply actions

what was wrong with that comment mania? :(

by medecine balls on Oct 30, 2008 9:11 PM EDT reply actions

Is C.B. record really 7-7?

by lee maury on Oct 30, 2008 9:16 PM EDT reply actions

should be a mistake, I think it is 7-1

by shamo84 on Oct 30, 2008 9:30 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah but should be 7-2

by randy murders on Oct 30, 2008 10:19 PM EDT up reply actions

Mark Burch is gonna beat Antoni Hardonk.

by belfort_fan on Oct 30, 2008 9:18 PM EDT reply actions

CB sucks a$$. Get off the main card loser.

by Chi-Wah-Wah on Oct 30, 2008 9:19 PM EDT reply actions

God i hate CB. Get off the main card loser, or better yet, leave the UFC.

by Chi-Wah-Wah on Oct 30, 2008 9:21 PM EDT reply actions

I think UFC definitely disrespects Okami. I think they are just too afraid of Okami possibly beating Anderson Silva should they give Okami a title shot.

by shu on Oct 30, 2008 9:23 PM EDT reply actions

they gave okami a title shot but he broke his hand and cotè took his place, it is pretty obvious that now he has to wait.

by shamo84 on Oct 30, 2008 9:42 PM EDT up reply actions

I don’t think that is the main card ..

I mean Okami, is what a fight away from a title shot, why the hell would they stick him on the under card

I understand Kongo being there now that Gonzaga lost, but cmon, not cb

by Robby on Oct 30, 2008 9:31 PM EDT reply actions

Sooooooo stoked about this card

by RiverHorror on Oct 30, 2008 9:58 PM EDT reply actions

Stop complaining about CB. Trust me. Just wait to what Massenzio does to him. He will make you all smile. He is legit. A HS and JUCO Wrestling National Champion. Mike by murder.

by The Killer on Oct 30, 2008 10:27 PM EDT reply actions

Pat Barry will end up being televised after he kills Evenson…..Get HYPE

i don’t think rashad 12-0 he is 17-0 what’s going on whith the records!

by Bongo on Oct 30, 2008 10:50 PM EDT reply actions

Card is awesome. IF Rampage fights like he did agaisnt Forrest, Wandy willl kill him for sure!! Wandy will also kill Forrest if Forrest wins, but he wont.

by The Anomaly on Oct 30, 2008 10:56 PM EDT reply actions

THIS CARD IS SICK
they better not jack the fuckin price on the PPV

by sinbin13 on Oct 30, 2008 10:59 PM EDT reply actions

I got Nog by either tko or desision(im thinkin jits will get cancelled out but you never know), I think forest will win but i want rashad to and wandy by ko

by Jared on Oct 30, 2008 11:06 PM EDT reply actions

Don’t doubt Forrest. Everyone does and he wins. He is not a paper champ. I won’t be surprised if Rashad wins but I won’t be surprised if Forrest retains either.

Rampage is gonna get beat up though, I dont think his head is in it anymore.

Rob Dib

by Rob Dib on Oct 30, 2008 11:07 PM EDT reply actions

Stacked! My only complaint is the same as everyone else’s…How the fuck does CB get to be on the main card ahead of Okami? Ever think they might be putting one crap match on each card just so they can increase the sales of the prelims on UFC.com? That’s the only explanation for this and the Maynard-Clementi match at UFC 90. Just retarded.

by Kimura88 on Oct 31, 2008 12:14 AM EDT reply actions

Awesome card. CB should not be on main card Okami should. Ryo Chonan beat Silva for three rounds before that flying heel hook to finish it. Watch it on youtube. Judo takedowns work better on Anderson than wrestling. Okami is a wrestler and Silva kils wrestlers. All his losses are to strikers with judo throws.

by scott on Oct 31, 2008 12:32 AM EDT reply actions

i hate the facked that CB is on the main card, theres plenty of better matchups on the under card… i would even like to see Okami vs Lister more then CB “i don’t have a fukin upper lip” Dollaway

by CB Can eat my ass on Oct 31, 2008 12:54 AM EDT reply actions

i f*ckin hate CB. that cheesedick has no right to be on the main card for this event.

by allamerican on Oct 31, 2008 6:16 AM EDT up reply actions

my complaint is what the hell is up with the main event In the previous 7 seasons of TUF when the coaches squared off against each other wether it was a fight night or PPV card they were always the main event……………………… except in this case where mir vs nog is the co-main event for some reason

by dia mette on Oct 31, 2008 1:05 AM EDT reply actions

cb dollaway is not 7-7

by Dylan on Oct 31, 2008 1:24 AM EDT reply actions

RAMPAGE BY REVENGE SUPER KO

by ALEX on Oct 31, 2008 2:12 AM EDT reply actions

can someone please explain why CB “THE DOUCHE” DOLLAWAY is on the main card??? i would much rather see the hamill vs andy fight.

by allamerican on Oct 31, 2008 6:14 AM EDT reply actions

Why is everyone crying about CB being on the main card?? Did anyone see the slick sub he pulled on Jesse Taylor?

by Yoda on Oct 31, 2008 7:45 AM EDT reply actions

Yeah, but who the hell wouldn’t rather see the boogey man vs. Okami? Much better fight.

by FukStyck on Oct 31, 2008 8:47 AM EDT reply actions

It’s hard to stomach watching CB fight when there are better fighters on the card.

by UFCAddict on Oct 31, 2008 10:01 AM EDT reply actions

Undercard could be much better

by Tony on Oct 31, 2008 11:38 AM EDT reply actions

Early to call but here is who I have:

Forrest Griffin via TKO 3rd
Frank Mir RNC 4 (I got Mir for a huge upset)
Mike Massenzio Split decision
Wanderlei Silva Brutal KO 2nd
Cheick Kongo split decision
Yushin Okami Unanimous decision
Antoni Hardonk Split decision
Matt Hamill Guiotine 1st
Ryo Chonan TKO 3rd
Dan Evensen Split decision

by Cogito Ergo Sum on Oct 31, 2008 12:02 PM EDT reply actions

This is going to be one of the best fight cards I have ever seen. I will be watching this fight card.
