me too, I’m so glad I didn’t watch it before the fight, I just got my heart rate elevated from watching this. This just pumped me up, wish there was a fight worth rewatching on my DVR. Did sell win or lose?

I get the feeling that Dan Henderson and Dana don’t actually like each other.
by DirtyML on Oct 26, 2008 4:21 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Dana probably considers Henderson to be somewhat of a disappointment.

Definately possible. What was with the annoying reporter at the end? If I was Dana I would just retire Chuck and have him kick the crap out of people like that all the time. haha

Well he certainly didn’t get tall.

Haha. Serra is the man. I love that he started doing these blogs and I hope he keeps doing them. Awesome look into the stuff that goes on before the show. Lookin forward to the next ones.

Did GSP say that “I’m gaining weight because I’m getting older; maybe I’ll have to move up”?
by SilasM on Oct 26, 2008 4:56 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
your damn right he did. also, i laughed so hard at the video blog of junior bringing down the betting lines on him. awesome.

After seeing GSP say that he will have to move up now im sure someday he will have a fight against Anderson Silva. Soon as possible!
by EmondRight on Oct 26, 2008 5:31 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Bad idea right now. Build them up separately. Put Dos Santos against Sanchez or someone like that first.
by JB on Oct 26, 2008 8:38 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
It would be a good fight though. I usually don’t make the most realistic matchups from a buissness atand point, I just say the match ups I would want to see. I totally get what you’re saying. The Heavyweight division is starving for contenders and these guys should keep winning to keep the heavyweight division competitive, but it would be a sick fight.
by DB on Oct 26, 2008 9:20 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
hey with elite xc out of buisness and a thew good fighters that the ufc can sign what do you think of these match ups
eddie alvarez vs sean sherk
robbie lawler vs hendo or nate marquatd or michael bisping
jake shields vs karo perisyan
by liamd on Oct 26, 2008 6:14 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
alvarez vs sherk = alvarez
lawler vs hendo = hendo
lawler vs nate = nate (hard one)
lawler vs bisping = lawler
shields vs karo = karo
by JB on Oct 26, 2008 8:40 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
how exactly would karo beat shields?

This was BY FAR the best blog yet. Man, that comment about Dos Santos odds going down was insane!! You feel like your at the show!!
by MMA fanatic on Oct 26, 2008 6:22 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
the encounter with Minotauro was maaad funny, cool to see the respect between those guys
also funny when Dana sees that the Thales Leites fight was about to come on and he knew it was going to be a quick one lol
by Marz on Oct 26, 2008 6:32 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
yeah, lmao, I wonder what McFedries will say when he sees that. He totally just got ragged on.
by Anthony on Oct 26, 2008 10:59 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I don’t think he meant that McFedries was going to lose. I just knew that it’d either be a quick submission for Thales or a quick KO for Drew.

i like how big nog talked about people not liking junie hahaha
by sanshouer on Oct 26, 2008 7:40 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
nice green room. That’s how we do it in chi-town.
by Jake on Oct 26, 2008 7:47 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
lol. Dana pointed out that GSP looks big, and David Loiseau said that’s cuz he was taking steroids (hinting towards the internet rumors). I honestly don’t want GSP to get too big. He seemed a little heavier on his feet his last couple of fights, and I think that’s due to the muscle gain.
by rolando on Oct 26, 2008 9:03 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I had the feeling Hendo was serious when he said he was going to beat Dana

What would you think if after Brock Lesler’s fight with Randy (win or lose) match him up with Bob Sapp?
by adam on Oct 26, 2008 9:41 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I hope to god you’re kidding. Also, it’s Lesnar, not Lesler. Bob Sapp is also a superheavyweight.
by Marauder on Oct 26, 2008 10:05 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Bob Sapp has absolutely no talent.
by naturalshadow on Oct 27, 2008 12:58 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Just like Hong Man Choi, nothing but size going for him…

is it just me or are the majority of people who post on sherdog retarded? I browse the articles and some forums but don’t post, because as someone once said “don’t argue with an idiot, people can’t tell the difference”.
by sycboi on Oct 26, 2008 10:43 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Silva could be fighting winner of Silva/Rampage or maybe liddell……… Hopefully not Okami b/c it is a waste of time. GSP has to get through BJ and Alves b4 they can make that blockbuster so in the mean time im thinkin Liddell anyone else?
by Colin D on Oct 26, 2008 11:39 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
naah, Liddell is too slow.. I think it would almost be disrespectful against Liddell to put him up to fight Anderson cause he loses that fight and his career is over after that.. I love Junior Dos Santos and he did what i thought he was going to, so nice!
by RoB on Oct 27, 2008 12:31 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
im getting sick of Dana!!! why is he always presenting himself with the fighters.the guy is sooo pathetic.enough of the wanna be tough guy stunts from this guy..just feature the fighters..without him in it..im sure nobody paid any attention to Dana when he was growing up thats why he’s hungry for attention
by roy on Oct 27, 2008 3:58 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Then DON’T WATCH! Wouldn’t you rather have a boss that’s there to support you and is hands on? Instead of some friggin’ money grubbing retard (the Shaws) who couldn’t care less about he sport and are just looking to skim all the profits?
Say what you will about Dana, love him or hate him, he’s damned good at what he does and he’s great for MMA. If you don’t like to watching his blogs then go back to your Gilmore Girls reruns.
by JRK on Oct 27, 2008 10:49 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate….
just quit bein a hater.. it’s nice to see that Dana’s a cool boss, approachable, down to earth and not the scum bag that Tito Ortiz and some other fighters try to make the guy out to be.
