I hear you Stager! nothing i hate more then a match up between 2 fighters who have NO CHANCE of finishing each other! what was Joe Silva thinking? Because of this fight DESTINED to go to a decision, we wont get to see any under card match ups aired at UFC 90
Wake me up when this match up is OVER!
Sherk vs. Griffin = Bathroom Break!

Because their wrestling could cancel each other out, hopefully this fight turns into a K-1 match up. Tyson’s stand up is getting better. He has been throwing some nice body shots, even dropping down to 1 knee to deliver them. Sherk “claims” to have these bad ass boxing skills. HOpefully they abandon the wrestling and duke it out!

Sherks’ punches against B.J. were coming pretty quick. The only problem is because of his build and reach, his opponent has to be standing nose to nose with him for them to connect. I hope the winner of this match is kind enough to give the loser a reach around during this 15 min hump fest.

That’s exactly what needs to happen and I am cautiously optimistic that it will. Just imagine, Sherk/Griffen wins the fight of the night. LOL.

JOHN. thats what happened in the sherk/nick diaz fight. niether wanted it to go to the ground to bad, so it ended up being a stand-up battle. it could happen again, fingers crossed.:)

The only way this fight doesn’t go the distance is if both fighters start with a steal chair…Our luck they both toss them and go for the takedown.

Hopefully Sherk comes out like he did in the Penn fight and tries to keep it standing. He said after the fight, he was trying to show the world he had hands, we can only hope he tries to show those hands in this fight too seeing that Tysons standup isn’t what Penns is and hopefully Sherk tries to take advantage.

Sean’s best bet is to keep this fight standing and show all the fans that he can really box. LOL
Those were the words he used after the Penn fight in the locker room. His face was hamburger from getting tooled the whole night by BJ’s jab and yet he wants the fans to know how well he could box.
Stick with what you’re good at Sean, wrestling (not LnP). And this time, try to actually finish the fight…something you haven’t been able to do in 4 years.

Hope they keep this one on the feet. I think they both cancel each other out in the wrestling department so perhaps they’ll bang it out on the feet. Sherk’s boxing looked have decent against BJ, except BJ jabbed the face off him before the TKO.
I really should have bet on Dan Hardy last weekend. I bottled it and didn’t bet even though I knew the odds were amazing.

I think this is going to be a very interest fight. I like Tyson, but Sean is good as well. I think Tyson is going to have to really keep on his toes and not TIRE out! If you look at a few of his latest fights he seems to tire out. However, both f this guys are tremendous fighter and I wish them both the very best – but I am truly rooting for Tyson!

HAS THE MAKINGS TO BE EITHER THE ABSOLUTE BEST, MOST INTENSE, EXCITING FIGHT OF THE WHOLE CARD…..OR A THE MOST BORING………
THERE WILL BE NO GREY AREA…EITHER GREAT OR TERRIBLE!
by SouthCaliStunNa on Oct 23, 2008 7:15 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I’d say terrible. I’d like to see both lying down, waiting for the other one to lay the human blanket on him…Sherk could definitely resort to his boxing, but Tyson too is no slouch in the stand. But my money’s on Sherk I guess. His caveman trainings a bit tedious and boring though, so he could more or less be doin’ the same thing for three rounds.
