UFC 92 betting odds and sportsbook for Las Vegas event

UFC 92 odds for the "Mir vs. Nogueira" pay-per-view (PPV) event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, December 27 are beginning to trickle out.

It’s hard to predict how this line will move in the next month or so as fight night draws closer. However, if you like what you see this is a great opportunity to lock-in some early odds before the lines begin to narrow (or widen) as show time approaches.

Remember, this is just a reminder that the sportsbook is always available for those fans who like to make fights nights that much more interesting.

It’s just cold hard numbers for now … and some possible big profits:

Frank Mir +225 BET NOW
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira -350 BET NOW
Quinton Jackson -120 BET NOW
Wanderlei Silva -120 BET NOW
Rashad Evans +120 BET NOW
Forrest Griffin -165 BET NOW

All of the UFC 92 odds should be out soon. Of course, we’ll pass them along right here at MMAmania.com when the complete lines become available.

To check out the complete UFC 92 fight card click here. In the meantime, feel free to discuss the blockbuster New Year's Eve card and its sensational match ups in the comments section below.

Don’t know what those numbers mean? Unclear of how much you can win when you place bets? Check out the BetUS.com MMA betting calculator RIGHT HERE and find out.

Rashad is the favorite? LoL

by Third Eye on Oct 14, 2008 10:28 AM EDT reply actions

NO, Rashad is the underdog!

WTF? UFC 92? I am till worried about who I am going to bet this weekend…No time to even think about what I am going to bet at UFC 92

by john on Oct 14, 2008 10:29 AM EDT up reply actions

And to make it worse, BetUs is offering odds to more fights for UFC 92 than they are UFC 89 which is just days away. I don’t understand why they always wait for the day before the event to post the other odds.

I do know this – whatever money I have left in my BetUs account after this weekend will be wagered on Wanderlei, although, I now need to stop and think for a moment. This line will move. But, which way??? The old school fans will bet on Silva and the new school / UFC fans will bet on Rampage. As of now, I am willing to risk Wanerilei moving to -130 in hopes that he becomes even money or better. But I can’t even imagine getting Wandi at + anything

by ViolentMike on Oct 14, 2008 10:39 AM EDT up reply actions

sounds like u need to get a book keep.

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 10:45 AM EDT up reply actions

yeah the whole not offering the odds till the day of the fight is just TRASH!!!!!!!

I dunno who to bet on in the wanderlei/rampage fight.
Just throw EVERYTHING on NOgueira!

STINKY~FINGERS ‘SPECIAL UFC 89 FAN CLUB PARLAY!

ricky dooby here to do up some risky business~

here is who i got in my main card predictions and bets~

davis-kelly = 2k on kelly

lytle-taylor = 4k on lights~out.

cane-sokoudjou = 10k on luis.

vera-jardine = 5k on the truth.

bisping-leben = 5k on bisping.

thats what it is~ with no parlays to hold me down

but i will throw in a special parlay for my fans.

i will even go the extreme and do up a 5 fight parlay.

btw~ this was all organized by the s~f fan club prez mexi.

anyways~ here is how it works.

i predict the main card[5 fights].

if i get even one fight wrong i lose. u win.

if u lose? = nothing changes. aka nothing to lose.

if i lose? = u can either have me~

1-change my to anything u want.

2-i will never drop my prediction posts.

or 3- i will pay u the exact amount i lost in the fight.

ie. if i lost on the sok-cane fight i will pay u 10k.

and if i lose on more then one? just keep adding. get it?

mexi and myself did a draw and chose 3 top fans to particiapte.

the three lucky winners are~ brenda-c.war-shamo.

do u guys feel like playing the stinky~parlay?

if so just choose an option[1,2,3?]

post it and we r good to go.

and dont forget to say word to big~bird.

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 11:27 AM EDT up reply actions

how am I not in on this stinky??? I’m going on strike and my stock is down 12 dollars a share the past 10 days, I want in!!!

by kevin doesn't know shit on Oct 14, 2008 11:50 AM EDT up reply actions

Woo hoo. Im in!

My parlay

Sokoudjou
Davis
Lytle

WORD to BB

by c-war on Oct 14, 2008 11:54 AM EDT up reply actions

Going for the 10k!

by c-war on Oct 14, 2008 11:59 AM EDT up reply actions

and if the rules are I have to pick 3 different winners than you, Ill change Lytle to Leben, otherwise I’ll leave it as stands.

by c-war on Oct 14, 2008 12:01 PM EDT up reply actions

no rules or picks for u.

u just pick option three and let it ride.

my picks count..

and i need all 5 right to win.

if i even get one wrong? i lose. thats a parlay.

and the fight i lose on? u get paid what my original bet is.

so not only do i owe my bookie i owe u the same amount.

if i lose more the one just keep adding.

i shouldnt have to explain this agian. its all above.

dont u know how to read?

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 12:10 PM EDT up reply actions

Stinky, I could really use a reliable Bookie!!!!

Nogueira simply will NOT lose to Mir. Minatauro only loses to legend of the sport. A legend Frank is not.

I wish I was rich so I can jump on some early lines. I expect Nog to hit at least -400 and Rashad to be even money come fight time.

by ViolentMike on Oct 14, 2008 12:30 PM EDT up reply actions

i always get a good laugh at the odds off the net.

my bookie has nog at -500 right now

and i can expect that to go up from that come fight night.

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 12:46 PM EDT up reply actions

kevin~

i responded but it seems like that post is in outer space?

the baises of my post was that u r not in my fan~club.

fan club members are reserved for the trolls of the site.

u post intelligent comments.

my fans tend to follow posts with chittter chatter. and

certainly dont know how to skip a comment.

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 12:50 PM EDT up reply actions

Thought you wee saying, choose an option(parlay){1,2,3}.

by c-war on Oct 14, 2008 1:14 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah 3 options~ if i lose.

1- have me change my name to whatever u want

2- i will never post my bets~ that u seem to hate?

3- have me pay u the same amout i lost in the fight.

what r u simple?

just re~read the rules and options.

do what i asked and ur in.

failure to do so will have u bounced out of the deal.

i wont try to explain it agian.

yourz truly~

ricky dooby.

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 1:24 PM EDT up reply actions

damn stink. all the more reason to let me in…or reward me with tickets and trip with you to penn/st.pierre

by kevin doesn't know shit on Oct 14, 2008 1:29 PM EDT up reply actions

I have no idea what Beetlejuice is talking about. I just like goofing on his outrageously fake bets, fake odds and lotto storyline. Plus the Olympics thing was pretty funny too. Some people just need the attention.

by the_mexicutioner on Oct 14, 2008 2:09 PM EDT up reply actions

Jesus, why would I choose option 1 or 2? Of course Im in. Why are all of these rhetorical questions being asked?

by c-war on Oct 14, 2008 4:34 PM EDT up reply actions

im a top fan? lol wonder what i did to earn that…

by brendan on Oct 14, 2008 9:25 PM EDT up reply actions

show me the money baby!

by brendan on Oct 14, 2008 9:27 PM EDT up reply actions

Mir at +225. Serra has a better chance of upsetting Pierre three times over before Nog loses to mir. As usual nobody respects Big Nog.

by NameNotRequired on Oct 14, 2008 12:23 PM EDT up reply actions

this stinky guy is such a donkey… you can either make me change my name or have 10 grand… lol…. it will be funny when you get his money in the mail and it has the monopoly man on it

by Kory on Oct 14, 2008 3:10 PM EDT up reply actions

not really’

on these lines he is the dog.

but internet odds r always crazy.

u need to go to a book keep that knows the sport.

then u know they have a better understanding and u will

get odds that make sense.

rashad should be the fav~ no doubt about it.

rashad is undefeated.

he is also coming off a huge ko victory and

forrest has a glass~jaw.

actually my book keep has rashad at -350

and nog at -500

internet odds r always way off.

and u can only max bet 500 bucks?…crazy!

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 10:35 AM EDT up reply actions

I am soooo sick of the Forrest glass jaw thing. He just went 5 rounds with Rampage in a fight where Rampage didn’t do sh*t but try to KO him. Forrest just did the impossible in most people’s eyes by beating Shogun and Rampage and he still doesn’t get his due. I bet my dignity on Forrest last time and won. There is no way Rashad will beat him this time. Don’t let the Rashad 1 punch hype fool you!

by BNF on Oct 14, 2008 10:52 AM EDT up reply actions

And I bet you lost money on Forrest in his last 2 fights, but by all means, bet agaisn’t him again, real smart idea.

by BNF on Oct 14, 2008 11:07 AM EDT up reply actions

u r right.

forrest doesnt have a glass jaw. i re~tract!

i over exaggerated. the man can take a good shot.

but rashad dont have a 1 punch hype. at least not to me.

the man is undefeated and can ko peeps with more then a pucnh.

rashad has come a long way. and i see him winning this

fight with ease. imo~ he will dominate.

and trust me i am a bigger fan of forrest then i am of

rashad.

i just got to call it as i see it.

if i was giving odds? i would prob have him at -200

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 11:12 AM EDT up reply actions

Agreed. Great post BNF. Once Chuck got KO’d… he became a huge puss, and Rashad became an icon. Wtf? Forrest has a good chin man. He took some serious punches from Rampage and still went the distance and got the deserved win. He also has great recovery and the heart of a lion.

I have Forrest in this one. Dont know how, but I see his leg kicks being a factor in this fight. It will keep Rashad’s quick hands away and he can just pick him apart. If he does is the smart way.

by enzo-enormous on Oct 14, 2008 11:13 AM EDT up reply actions

bnf~

actually i did. lmao~

i have lost just over 50k on forrest in his last 2 fights.

and his fight before those with hector

i bet on forrest and he disapointed me with that fight.

but he still one.

i also bet agianst him in the jardine fight and cashed

in over 20k with jardine as the hot~dog.

imo~ forrest totally changed after his loss to keith.

even with two huge wins?

he just dont look the same. i still say rashad.

by stinky~fingers on Oct 14, 2008 11:17 AM EDT up reply actions

That’s exactly my point enzo. Forrest beat Shogun when he was arguably the #1 LHW in the world. Then he beat Rampage when he was the #1 LHW in the world. Now he is supposed to lose to Rashad, a guy who wasn’t even on the radar until lately. Lets see, draw to Tito (which he lost IMO), split decision with an okay middleweight, and a 1 punch KO highlight. Doesn’t impress me!

by BNF on Oct 14, 2008 11:24 AM EDT up reply actions

Stinky, I am just trying to help a brother out. I know you bet big so… I guess I will just have to say I told you so.

by BNF on Oct 14, 2008 11:34 AM EDT up reply actions

thanks bro~

i havnt put down anything on this fight yet.

i am still weighing my options~ but i am definitely

leaning towards the nipple twister.

u aswell as enzo made some great points.

and u did remind me of what type of fighter forrest

has turned into.

he turned into a guy that went out and beat

imo~the #1 lhw shogun and the champ.

thanks for the insight bnf~

this is why i love coming to this site.

insight and opinions of others.

Givin rasahd the underdog again means 1 thing for me…. big paydayyyy baby

by steve on Oct 14, 2008 10:48 AM EDT reply actions

Agreed Rashad takes this one

by Robert on Oct 14, 2008 11:06 AM EDT up reply actions

thats where i would put my money

by roy on Oct 14, 2008 12:20 PM EDT up reply actions

id put money on him just in case hes got a decent enough chance to wager some money on BUT no way in hell do i think he will win, he beat a former champion who had lost 2 of his last 3 forrest DESTROYED shogun, beat rampage, and i actually think he beat tito ortiz a man rashad almost lost to but got lucky on a point deduction since the jardine loss forrest has been a new fighter and he will run through rashad

by randy murders on Oct 14, 2008 12:56 PM EDT up reply actions

no mma math but if you want rashad did better against tito and beat jardine who knocked out forrest and forrest beat a one legged shogun i would not call it a destruction at all, its a close fight either could win but i would lean towards rashad.

by roy on Oct 14, 2008 1:16 PM EDT up reply actions

I like Rampage in this one…Wandy is one of my favorite fighters but take away the murder of Jardine and he hasn’t looked that good in over 2yrs. Rampage is a better figther now where I think Wandy is coming to an end of a great MMA run….Still early though I could change my mind.

by Robert on Oct 14, 2008 11:06 AM EDT reply actions

I agree 100%. Wandy is on the way out

by Anthony on Oct 14, 2008 2:31 PM EDT up reply actions

Forrest’s style reminds me of nogueira’s without the subs he just takes damage and keeps on dominating i see him being champ for awhile…..

by Colin D on Oct 14, 2008 11:20 AM EDT reply actions

he might make it past rashad, but i would have rashad the favorite in that fight, but that will be it.

by roy on Oct 14, 2008 12:20 PM EDT up reply actions

AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THAT MIR WILL BEAT NOG???

by silva on Oct 14, 2008 12:09 PM EDT reply actions

Probably. Mir’s greatest strength is not as good as Big Nog. This is fighting and anyone has a chance, but Nog should win this fight.

by mike on Oct 14, 2008 12:28 PM EDT up reply actions

i dont think mir will win but i really wanna see a rematch with lesnar

by randy murders on Oct 14, 2008 12:56 PM EDT up reply actions

Good point…Lesnar beating Randy and Mir winning…makes for interesting main event!

by Robert on Oct 14, 2008 2:55 PM EDT up reply actions

no. I do as well. Everyone is doubting Mir but Mir is one of the smartest and toughest HWs in the game not to mention great on the ground and I don’t care if he’s fighting Nog or not, he’ll find a way to pull out the win.

by Anthony on Oct 14, 2008 2:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Here is how the fight will end:

Nog will dominate the stand-up and get better positions on the ground. Mir will try a few foot locks, and defend from numerous submission attempts from Nog, while eating punches and elbows. At the end of the 2nd, Mir will be gassed. At the start of the 3rd round, probably in the first two minutes, Mir will attempt a lazy takedown, in which Nog will sprawl, and execute an Anaconda choke. Mir will hold out for about 20 seconds, then tap out.

Big Nog wins by Submission (Anaconda Choke) in round 3.

by sinister on Oct 14, 2008 3:08 PM EDT up reply actions

lmao, you wish. If there’s one guy who’s gonna gas it’s gonna be Nog after Mir turns his face into a pulp

by Anthony on Oct 14, 2008 6:30 PM EDT up reply actions

i think mir will win this one too, not many people could come back from the beating he took at 81, so i won’t doubt him again here

by markg on Oct 14, 2008 6:10 PM EDT up reply actions

If Lesner and Mir both lose or both win they will fight again. I think after this little playoff the champian will fight Gonzaga or Vernum. Unless Randy wins it all then Fedor comes to UFC. If Brock loses either fight he will face Gonzaga or Kongo next.
If Jackson beats Vandy he should get a title shot. If Wanderlie wins he will get Lyoto/Thiago winner. Then that winner gest a title shot. Also if Franklin beats Hendo he might fight lyoto again.

by scott on Oct 14, 2008 1:58 PM EDT reply actions

Nog should win, but I’m putting money on Mir. For the same reason I put money on Jardine against Liddell, Kongo against Cro Cop, and Forrest against Shogun.

Hopefully it works out!

by Jon on Oct 14, 2008 2:31 PM EDT reply actions

You failed to mention the hundreds of bets you lost using that logic…

THAT’S IT BOYS
