Affliction Vice President Tom Atencio featured on Pro MMA Radio (Replay)

Affliction MMA Vice President Tom Atencio was our guest this past Monday on MMAmania.com’s exclusive presentation of Pro MMA Radio.
Fresh off Saturday’s CBS/Elite XC ‘Heat’ event that featured Affliction fighters Andrei Arlovski and Roy Nelson, Atencio talked about the future of Affliction MMA, details behind the co-promotions with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Elite XC, and of course the company’s plans for WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko.
Hosted by Larry Pepe, Pro MMA Radio is professional, guest-driven program that features some of mixed martial arts biggest names.
If you’re looking for a radio show that revolves around a couple of MMA fans ranting and raving about everything that’s already been covered ad nauseam, then Pro MMA Radio probably isn’t for you.
However, if you want to hear from actual fighters and industry insiders answering questions that are relevant to the current MMA scene, tune in every Monday night at 9pm for our exclusive live feed.
Click here for the replay of Monday's show.

I don’t see that happening. Besides, I like bashing on the Shaw’s. I actually like some of Afflictions clothing, but I am not such a big fan of the price tag.

that mite be true, but tapout and ufc gear isnt much cheaper. I get bashing the shaw’s but still, if they didnt put on there event, the ufc would have never put two ppvs on free tv to counter program it.

nothing that you probably didnt already know. they are looking at having their next event somtime in the 1rst quarter of next year(jan, feb,or march?)their plan for now is to have 8 mma fights and 1 boxing as the main event. barnett turned down the fedor fight on the next event so it will most likely be fedor/arlovski. nothing new.

Rampage tried to recruit Rampage’s old Chute Box coach to help him train against Wanderlei but Rafael declined!
Raphael Cordeiro told tatame:
"I’m sure it’ll be another knockout. If Wanderlei shows the same game he always showed, he’ll bring to Brazil another victory. He knows Quinton’s game, but unfortunately Quinton knows his too, but he may had bad memories of that… In fact, when I was here I heard some rumors that Quinton wanted to train with me, and when I knew that it was his preparation to fight with Wanderlei I didn’t accept. Everybody is professional, but there are things that money can’t buy. I heard this rumors, I have nothing against him, I’m a professional, but not that much, train someone to fight someone that already trained with me."
