by McArthur on Oct 9, 2008 12:45 PM EDT up reply actions

No doubt… If I was betting on this event I would throw down on Leban for sure!

by BNF on Oct 9, 2008 12:51 PM EDT up reply actions

Leben or Jardine is bound to score an upset so wouldn’t be bad to bet on both in hopes of one winning.

Vera is NOT going to loose. the only thing holding him back is the weight cut and that will NOT be a problem against Jardine. Right now, Vera is already in England and he is down to 202 lbs. NO WEIGHT CUTT NEccessary!

Vera will be throwing some sick kicks and his crisp Muy Tai will show!

Is Vera @ the wolfs lair. I know he’s tight with Page and Bisping.

by MoonUK on Oct 9, 2008 3:52 PM EDT up reply actions

not sure. I would assume he is there right now since he is in England, but most of his training camp was in the USA

Don’t totally discount Jardine’s leg kicks either.

by ViolentMike on Oct 9, 2008 4:57 PM EDT up reply actions

IF Vera shows up to fight that is correct. If he has trouble dropping the wieght again Jardine will eat him alive. I am interested to see how Jardine rebounds after the Silva fight though.

by mike on Oct 9, 2008 12:45 PM EDT up reply actions

He doesn’t have to drop weight (he is waking around at 202). I think he got a wakeup call like BJ did after losing 2 in a row. He has gotten a strength and conditioning coach now and he changed his diet. Both those guys were lazy and ate nothing but crap food and coasted on their skill alone. He’s rededicated himself and I think we will see the best Brandon Vera ever. That will be to much for Jardine to handle. Vera WILL win this fight.

i wish i wasnt retarded and understood betting.

Hahahaha!!!

I thought I was the only one…

by OJR on Oct 9, 2008 12:56 PM EDT up reply actions

If the line is a negative number, you bet that much on the person to receive $100 in return. If the line is a positive number, you bet $100 to receive said number amount in return. Easy!

by NameNotRequired on Oct 9, 2008 1:08 PM EDT up reply actions

can someone clear this up for me. If I put a 100 on Jardine, do I win 45 or do I win 145?

by mike on Oct 9, 2008 12:58 PM EDT reply actions

I thought if you bet 145 you get your bet back + 100…

by DJ on Oct 9, 2008 1:01 PM EDT up reply actions

Bet 100, win 145.

by stevo on Oct 9, 2008 1:07 PM EDT up reply actions

jardine looks pretty good at +145… id say 100 bucks on him seems like a safe bet! better camp, better cardio, tougher opponent history, more experience… what does vera really have going for him?

by brendan on Oct 9, 2008 3:11 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah I agree. He has suffered some losses, but he has a win over the current LHW champ and the Iceman. Vera has not achieved as much IMO. I expected the lines to be even on these two. You cant go wrong betting on one of Greg Jackson’s boys.

by stevo on Oct 9, 2008 4:45 PM EDT up reply actions

Bet 100 on Jardine, you win $145 and get your $100 back turning your $100 into $245

by ViolentMike on Oct 9, 2008 4:58 PM EDT up reply actions

im going to be 145 dollars richer on october 18th

by brendan on Oct 9, 2008 11:06 PM EDT up reply actions

You can go wrong betting on one of Greg Jacksons boys if his name is Keith Jardine, he tends to get KOed every second fight. Vera’s better at everything. Vera survived the likes of Mir, Sylvia and Verdume pretty much unscathed (minus Sylvia hitting Vera in the hand with his hard head), Jardine isn’t going to hurt him. All Vera has to do is go at Jardine hard in the first minute and he will be out, just like Houston and Silva did. Jardine FOLDS under pressure.

by Gord on Oct 10, 2008 12:24 AM EDT up reply actions

jardine looks tasty..

by shamo84 on Oct 9, 2008 1:02 PM EDT reply actions

This is the best ufc ive ever seen for betting! Etim Kelly Taylor Jardine are brilliant value! i say 3 of them will win at least.

by Tony on Oct 9, 2008 1:37 PM EDT reply actions

im guessing youre from the UK?

by brendan on Oct 9, 2008 3:12 PM EDT up reply actions

does anyone here use BETUS?
would you recomend it? also how exactly does the 50% bonus work i’m guessing youve got to bet a certain amount before you can cash that out

by blakemore on Oct 9, 2008 2:17 PM EDT reply actions

They are good. Its who I use. For the bonus, you need to risk 10 times the bonus amount. A break-even gambler will do that in no time at all.

by ViolentMike on Oct 9, 2008 4:59 PM EDT up reply actions

is there any sort of time period or anything? i just signed up with them last week and put 100 on arlovski… i didnt even get mention of any bonus

by brendan on Oct 9, 2008 11:07 PM EDT up reply actions

WHo makes these odds?? Jardine is clearly the favourite not vera………….. PUT SOME MONEY ON JARDINE PPL!!!
