I assumed petrucelli was going in to take a dive, but what he did was prove what I’ve been saying all along. The WORST UFC fighter (HW) would beat Kimbo! I put 500 on shamrock, why, because I expected him to get exposed at some point! It was a short right, and look what happened! Instead of putting seth down, we should be thanking him! I believe Kimbo is a smart, well spoken humble man, but he deserves to be the first fight of a telivision broadcast, not the main event. This proves it…thank you seth petrucelli! Al the people who think Kimbo is the best HW in the world or even top 50…thank you seth petrucelli!!!

MMA shouldn’t be about protecting fighters, or building a franchise around one guy when it’s a sport where anything can happen. Seth has worked hard and earned that win (and would every time if they refought 100 times) and should be getting congrats from EliteXC and the fans.
I keep hearing excuses (Kimbo slipped, Kimbo wasn’t training to fight Seth – because Seth apparently had trained to fight Kimbo? Pshhh)
EliteXC has shown that the fights aren’t rigged and they have some real talent in the sport. I’m more interested now then ever.

yes it makes you seem like an ass. didnt ur mommy and daddy ever teach you that if you dont have something something nice to say, then shut ur cookie and dont say anything at all. Plus, its not nearly as bad as a grown man like forrest crying in the middle of the ring lol. Anywho, for all its worth the majority of the fights were certainly entertainig to watch, more so than the last few ufc events ive watched minus one or two actual matchups.

Lets face it. Kimbo probably didn’t train very hard to fight Ken Shamrock. He likely assumed that it was going to be a quick knock out and that would be it. Then he got a guy like Seth. Seth isn’t a GREAT fighter, but he isn’t a bad fighter either. Kimbo probably knew that he didn’t have the cardio to go 3 rounds with this guy so he went for the quick knockout. Because of that, he was somewhat careless and knocked out. This isn’t taking any credit away from Seth. He almost knocked out Bob Sapp but unfortunatly couldn’t continue due to an arm injury.

I went to the fights. Had really good seats. I was cheering/laughing my ass off when kimbo got beat. The whole show sucked. I know there was some good fights, Arlovski especially, but the production value sucked. You couldn’t hear any of the interviews after the fight. They had them on the big screen, but no volume. People were booing, not the fighters, but EliteXC. Sad..

Hey guys, I love this site and have been reading it religously for some time now. This is officially my first post ever lol. Anyways, I just have 2 things I wanna to get out. #1.)This is one of the only sites that I have found that the guys (and women if there are any) actually have mma knowledge and don’t just go with what is popular at the time. I have a great deal of respect for that, thank you. #2.) What the fuck is up with Kimbo’s manbearpig like body hair. Does his razor go dull after a bit or what lol. thanks mmamania, and I plan to be an advid poster on here. I really do enjoy reading everyone’s comments and I am happy to see that there are other people out there that are knowledgeable about mma. I Been watching it from the beginning and I am a constant student of the sport, as I am sure most of you on here are. Later.
