Well guys, I got to admit, not mentioning the circus act they call a main event, this is a very solid card!
AA
jake shields
ninja rua
all 3 belong in the majors!!!

im actually pretty pumped for this event. it’s their best show yet imo and i hope all of ken and his trainer talking about standing with kimbo is just a smokescreen.

I feel the same way solid card…off topic but besides Randy vs Brock UFC 92 is completely weakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Thank you. It seemed like i was the only one bashing that card for its obvious lack of everything.

On a side note, Dan Henderson is supposed to be doing free signings and photos with Stitch Duran on the 4th at the Nordstroms in Palm Beach Gardens, about 30-45 mins away.

It’s a promotion for One More Round clothing. It’s on their web site. I guess Nordstrom is getting into MMA clothing now. They had BJ Penn doing a free RVCA signing a month or two ago in Costa Mesa a month or two ago also.

How much of a joke is it that Arlovski is on a card and not the headliner when Kimbo Slice is… So stupid.. He’l probably knock out Shamrock bc hes so done as a fighter but at some point he has to fight a real fighter.

Just think about it this way; the sooner Arlovski fights; the sooner i can go to sleep.

Maybe Arlovski will call out Kimbo after his fight.

I just hope that we get to see the 160 lbs.: Mike Aina (9-6-1) vs. James Edson Berto (14-5-1) fight. This is going to be a barn burner for sure. Ive got Aina by 2rd TKO

Ok fellas, I have been out of the loop, I thought AA was fighting with affliction? What is he doing on a Elite show. Damn I need to keep up with this shti.

Arlovski wouldn’t waste his time with that jabrone. He wouldn’t let the guy wash his car or mow his lawn.

Maybe they will let Arlovski fight Kimbo for title I bet even they know AA would bring in better rankings than Kimbo.
by Wanderlei Fan on Sep 29, 2008 2:29 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
i think they’d rather put rogers vs kimbo for the belt, that way when kimbo loses if he beats shamrock they can say use the old “he’s hungry for a rematch” gimmic on kimbo
by randy murders on Sep 29, 2008 3:04 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
AA vs Kimbo would be a hatefull thing to do to Kimbo. He is not ready for Arlovski.

i love the card except for kimbo slice, normally i wont watch elite but carano and arlovski on 1 card is enough throw in shields and im excited about it.. then again i dont mind watching the shamrocks get hit in the face those stupid expressions they get are priceless, i see ken ending the kimbo hype though
by randy murders on Sep 29, 2008 3:03 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Im thinking Shields just might get suprised in this fight.

MMAMANIA the only reasn KEN is taking this fight is because the weight limit will be 240 lbs not 265. CHANGE IT!!!!!! I dont even think Ken even weighs 220.
