Same. I’ve been playing Fight Night Round 3 in anticaption for this (because it’s the only half decent fighting game i have). Also played UFC Sudden Impact recently and then remembered how god dam awful it was lol.

I loved Sudden Impact lol, I was a beast at it, I would take all my freinds down, and sub them in a secound lol, pull off a flying armbar, and they’re like WTF is that. I would win like so much, and they’d beat me at the most like 1 out of 30 times lol. Im so excited about this game, Ive been waiting for ever hah.

Is there stat bars for how good a fighter is at a particular martial art or is it just whoever is the best at the controller?

It’ll be a combination of both, really. I know for sure, they fighters will have base stats, but it’ll also come down to the players’ timing and stuff like that.
Submissions, for example, apparenty have two little stages that take place. So I’m sure each stage is just a matter of a button press or two. So it’ll come down to who does the right thing, and I’m sure a fighter’s stats will help boost it a little.

No, I think this is a stupid question and being an a-hole is warranted, b.w.
Saying “I just figured it would be top fighters of the world” doesn’t make any sense. The game is a UFC game, licensed by the UFC, so why would Fedor be in the game? Or even Andre Arlovski? Who was in the UFC, fairly recently too. Tim Sylvia? No…If they’re gone, they won’t be in the game.
I know War Machine had already undergone all the scanning and mo-cap for the game, but since being cut, he was taken out. It’s not like it’s difficult for developers to add/remove fighters. If they wanted, they could make new fighters DLC for the consoles in the future. Could be a good money maker. I’d like to see Evan Tanner get an honourable appearance in the game.
Legends aren’t a bad idea. But I’m sure they’re already having to be selective enough of current fighters to make the current roster, so I doubt we’ll see many. I just hope Evan gets an exception.
But don’t worry, with the Create-A-Fighter, I’m sure you can make your own Fedor pretty easily. He’s doesn’t exactly have much of a look to him.
Gonna have to create all the better fighters around the world that aren’t in the UFC. I already have plans to create most of the better names around the world, and posting tutorials on YouTube.

if there is an old school cheat i hope it also makes bruce buffer announce like he did before he started using his forced fake voice… speaking of voices does anyone else think nate diaz sounds like bennecio del torro in the usual suspects?
speaking of voices if they want to make the game realistic theyll need to make joe rogan pick a fighter to fan boy behind for the entire fight and completely belittle or just altogether disregard the other fighter in the cage….
