Bisping is kissing canvas first minute of second round.

Not gonna happen, Bisping is too sharp and crisp at M/W gonna pick Leben apart.
by Nick J on Sep 24, 2008 2:02 AM EDT up reply actions
I don’t think anyone will “pick each other apart.”

Have you not seen Bisping at 185?? Striking is pretty quick and acurate.
by Nick J on Sep 24, 2008 4:40 AM EDT up reply actions
Bisping for me because he’s better all round and is motivated to get a genuine shot at Anderson Silva.
by Rilly on Sep 24, 2008 7:48 AM EDT up reply actions
Nick J is right. With his new found speed at MW, along with his already crisp accurate striking, he should be able to out-point a “wild swinging” type of brawler that is Leban..
I am a big fan of Leban, but Bisping is a straight killer at 185..This fight is going to be great…

Amen, not saying he’s a world beater yet but would be a tough fight for anyone at 185 not named Silva IMO.

The Count has this one in the bag. its only going to end one way TKO for Bisping. Lebens got knock out power but bisping has said on his own website www.Bisping.tv that in all his matches in K1,MMA and all the sparring in between he has never been knocked out. Leben isn’t the man to do it.

I think the Britain will win also, which is good news for England he’ll definitely continue to build a big fanbase.

i dnt care who wins really. i like them both. i just hope someone gets knocked the f out lol
by tuffguy01 on Sep 24, 2008 1:05 AM EDT reply actions
I don’t care either but it’s because I hate them both….
I do think Bizzz is much faster at MW than he was at LHW so I’m picking him to win.

Just enjoy the fight! Going to be a good one! Leben will be tko’d Bisping will be the second person to ever do that. Then everyone better watch out they can’t keep running.

Tony, this is MMA, not an f’in marathon. NOBODY IS RUNNING FROM BISPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anything, people are chomping at the bit to fight him, b/c beating him will look pretty nice on a stat sheet.
by chefdaddy on Sep 24, 2008 7:52 AM EDT up reply actions
I ama big Bisping fan, but trust me when I say that NO one is running from him!

agreed..Bisping is a walking target right now in the MW division…Everyone wants a peice of the count..
Even Jason Day jumped at the chance to try and hand Bisping a loss at MW, when he probably should have worked his name up a bit before fighting a guy like Mike.
Fighters want to beat a name.. and in the MW division the name Bisping will do that for you…The only running that would be going on is running to sign up..
The man’s a target..

According to a solid source (kevin Iole): Jackson and Silva will fight Jan. 31 (Super Bowl weekend) in Las Vegas in UFC 93. it’s almost certain it won’t happen in November and it’s very unlikely for December.
This confuses me because of the reports that Jackson was already engaged in a training camp. no one starts a training camp when a fight is 4 months away. So, whats going on? If Jackson vs. Silva is not the co-main event of UFC 91, then what is?
by john on Sep 24, 2008 8:09 AM EDT reply actions
HE’s not really training intensively yet for any fight. He’s just hanging out and gettin’ settled in the Wolf’s Lair.

wait until i get to the UFC….i am already in talks with joe and dana, i fight at 205 now but they want me 185….i promise the only person who will give me any problems there is anderson silva….The Hulk is comin to a pay per view near you

Ok, my friend, I’ll check out the vids after work. Either way, actual practitioners of MMA are always highly valued on here for the insight they can give to the rest of us keyboard warriors (although someone used the term “mousepad marines” recently, which I find FAR funnier). Best of luck to you!

Good luck on coming to the UFC ‘Hulk’ I just watched your fight against Penny. Cant imagine how a guy your size is going to make 185 (cut a leg off lol….) I’ll keep an eye out.

The guy on youtube still hasnt put up the last couple of episodes of Lebens build up show yet! he said weeks ago he had problems with his software.

i will wreck everyone in the 185 division….look at what i did to Victor Valamaki, and also like three guys i fought and beat in the first 2 minutes of the first round Cote took them to a decision….I WANNA POUND COTE’S FACE IN CAUSE SHIT IF HE’S GETTING A TITLE SHOT WHAT SHOULD I GET WITH A COUPLE WINS
by the best fighter in canada(ROGER HOLLET) on Sep 24, 2008 12:30 PM EDT reply actions
Cote was the only guy available……right time right place….he got the fight by luck.
by Confused on Sep 24, 2008 4:37 PM EDT up reply actions
Is it luck? or I guess it’s misfortune because he just signed his death warrant when he took that fight, hehe!!
by The Negation on Sep 24, 2008 9:06 PM EDT up reply actions
I think the Count is significantly better on the ground and this could be the difference. Unlike Martin, if he puts Leben on his back, he can finish him.

lets go out throw punches and see who go’s down first, Bisping needs a new game plan or he will be drinking his dinner for the next 6 weeks.
