'Mo' not so mighty, withdraws from DREAM 6

Siala "Mighty Mo" Siligia (3-0) has withdrawn from DREAM 6 due to an injury suffered in training. His opponent, Russian gladiator Sergei Kharitonov (15-3) is expected to get a last-minute replacement for Tuesday's event.
Punch Drunk Gamer is reporting that replacement could be Jimmy "The Titan" Ambriz (13-9-1).
Siligia was last victorious at K-1 Heroes after a first-round mutilation of Ruben "Warpath" Villereal. An accomplished kickboxer with a devastating overhand right that he calls "The Right Hand of God", Mo was expected to bring not only flair, but a very tough challenge for "Kharit-top".
Ever the gamer, UFC jetsam Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic offered to fight Kharitonov after disposing of Overeem - a comment that led to some amusing banter between the three:
Cro Cop: "As a professional fighter, I'm willing to fight Kharitonov after fighting Allister. I'm sure Kharitonov doesn't want to go home without fighting. I'm happy to be his opponent."
Overeem: "I suppose our fight is your last fight as a professional MMA fighter, Mirko. "
Cro Cop: "I like fighting someone who has plenty of guts, and I admit Alistair is one of them; although, our fight won't be my last fight for sure."
Kharitonov: "I respect both Mirko and Alistair. I'm sure it's a big decision fighting twice a day. I am appreciative of Mirko, yet I would like to fight you in another time."
Thanks to the lovely Suki MMA for the translation.

Cro-Cop has been fighting cans. He needs to say things like that. He hasn’t been himself since Gonzaga kicked his head into the nosebleed section of the cheap seats. I hope he has finally got his game back.

Come on with this BS! Does anyone truly belive that Mirko was going to fight Alistar and Sergie in the same night? I call, BS!!!! He shouted it out there knowing it wouldnt happen!
This coming from a guy who ran from the UFC faster then Tito ran from Wanderlie.
I don’t buy this load of crap!
I am disspointed that Mighty mo pulled out, I just hope they keep Sergie on the card

apples and Oranges! Cro Cop fought 2 fighters in the same night, but so did his opponents. No way Cro Cop will fight Alistar and then fight a fresh Sergei in the same night!
NOT HAPPENING!!! Think!

Overeem is going to kill Crocop. Mirko doesnt stand a chance. overeem will either KO him or Submitt him.

Nothings changed.
Overeem beat an overmatched Buentello, an overmatched newbie in Hyun, and a rusty Mark Hunt who took the fight to the only place he could lose it.
Oveereem was in great shape for the Kharitonov rematch and he ended up sleep walking across the ring. Nobody gets dazed and KO’d like Overeem does.

Terry Martin does. Ten times better.

Crocop is still a great fighter, but Overeem is now fighting at his natural weight and is only getting bigger&better each fight. So even if he were to lose to Crocop im 100%sure he wins in a rematch. But frankly i think Overeem is gonna come out on top. All three of these fools need to head over to Affliction and give AA/Barnett/Fedor someone to fight. Crosspromote =FTW

Me thinks Cro Cop is talking a little big for his britches. The way he has handled his career over the last 2 years causes me to be skeptical that he actually wanted to fight both guys. Hopefully they get someone to fight Kharitonov though.

this is the man who ran through wanderlei silva and josh barnett in the same tournament playa, been there done that… how is he talking too big?

Heh, I was about to say that too. Before people start moaning about how Wandy is a MW: Wandy came in heavier than CroCop in that fight and got KTFO pretty well.

Yeah, people have been raving about Overeem and how he is a lot better. He beat a japanese can, Paul Buentello, and submitted Mark Hunt. Mark hunt fought a stupid fight and went to the ground with him. This is the dude that lost to Khartinov, Shogun, Lil Nog, and Rampage before the the Buentello fight. I’m not buying into the Overeem hype just yet. I will say that he does look a lot better moving up to heavyweight, but he still lost to Khartinov at heavyweight. By the way, the first Overeem/Khartinov fight, Khartinov suffered a shoulder injury in the first round.

I agree! I really enjoy watching Alistar fight, but lets keep it real, He ALWAYS looses the Big Fights!
Dopnt really care who wins between him and Mirko, I just want to see them BANG IT OUT!

In any case, if Overeem wins. He’ll have to face the Russian Paratrooper Khartinov!!!!!!!! It’ll be a repeat of their second fight. As you can tell, I hold onto Khartinov’s nuts very hard :)
