UFC Quick Quote: My cup runneth over

"Matter of fact, I'm wearing his cup. That's probably why I got the knockout because I'm wearing his cup! I fogot to say that - I'm wearing his cup! We're brothers...we all just come together and help each other out."
"Sugar" Rashad Evans reveals his secret weapon against Chuck Liddell during a UFC 88 post-fight interview. Evans shocked the world twice in twenty-four hours. First by knocking out "The Iceman" in brutal fashion at UFC 88 'Breakthrough" and then by sharing just how close Team Jackson gets during training. TMI!

Ask Evans who gave him the tougher fight! Bisping or Lidell a UFC and MMA great? I though Bisping hasnt fought anyone?

This is the 3rd time you have posted this. Brad Imes gave him a tougher fight than Bisping.
by UKmmaBOY on Sep 9, 2008 5:17 AM EDT up reply actions
And for the second time, I’ll post my response: How do you type while holding onto Bisping’s sack so tight?

“Ask Evans who gave him the tougher fight! Bisping or Lidell a UFC and MMA great? I though Bisping hasnt fought anyone?”
Ask Herring who gave him a tougher fight! Lesnar or Nog a Pride and MMA great?
ZOMG Lesnar is better than NOG!!!!! [/sarcasm]
….see how stupid you sound?

exceptions don’t make arguements…The Bisping Evans fight doesn’t show how good Bisping is it shows how bad Rashad is. I give the guy all the credit in the world for taking out a legend like Chuck, i’ll even say that he deserves a title shot because of it. but let’s be real, one punch doesn’t make you a great fighter, it’s a fight sometimes when you throw a punch it lands perfectly and the dude goes down, it happens. the fact that he knocked Liddell out doesn’t mean everyone he didn’t knock-out is automatically a better fighter, that’s just stupid. Serra KO’d GSP but he only won by decision over Jeff Curran, i guess that would make him an immediate title contender and prove that he was actually a great fighter…
by The_Cannibal on Sep 9, 2008 11:47 AM EDT up reply actions
I do agree with your point that “one punch does make you a good fighter”. I’m no big fan of Evan’s awkward ass..but no one here can argue that he been pretty consistent…and he did knocked Chuck…the f**k out!
To the victor, goes the spoils.

I think Tony loves Bisping. He’s posting on the Cote thread about how Bisping could beat Silva. HA HA HA HA HA!!!
by LJ on Sep 9, 2008 12:58 PM EDT up reply actions
He types that stuff on EVERY thread! It could be about a Strikeforce match, and he brings up Bisping! It’s getting to the point where the main thing I don’t like about the count is -—Tony!!!lol

Nice!, smelly cup!
Evan Tanner is dead! F&*K! That dude rocked man.. He will be missed.

Oh no, you did not just finish that post with “TMI”, did you?
Nice touch by Rashad though, first the repetitive nipple tweaking, now communal jock straps. What is with Team Jackson?

Man, who knows? But I definitely wouldn’t bend over in the showers to pick up the soap if I dropped it!!!!

I’m in Albuquerque and my investment partner with whom I have a strictly business relationship is friends with GSP. He also trains at Jackson’s periodically. I’m not sure how to bring it up, but I feel charged with the duty of figuring out the mystery of titty twisting. Wish me luck.

RASHAD “NIPPLE TWISTER” EVANS….. I already heard about the cup.. I wanna know what’s up with the NIppLe TWisTing PHeNomEnon!
A phenomenon (from Greek φαινόμενoν, pl. φαινόμενα – phenomena) is any occurrence that is observable.1 In popular usage, a phenomenon often refers to an extraordinary event.
Did Rashad actually lick his fingers before he twisted his nipple’? I read where someone said that… but I don’t remember seeing it?

Thata f——ng sick. i really hate his wife with that annoying screaming. DANA PLEASE DON’t ALLOW HER BACK
by DBG on Sep 9, 2008 1:31 AM EDT reply actions
She was extremely excited for her husband because of what he had just accomplished. He beat the odds and proved everyone wrong. It might be annoying for some of us (I will admit, I found it agitating as I was in shock over seeing one of my favorite fighters down like that) but you shouldn’t bash her for it.
by RyanHobbs on Sep 9, 2008 2:59 AM EDT up reply actions
Every single time she is that annoying. And why is she coming in the cage?
by PJJ on Sep 9, 2008 10:08 AM EDT up reply actions
Dude, it’s his f*n wife??? She’s there to cheer him on, there is no rule on how much your family members can cheer for you. Do you have a girlfriend/wife/child/brother/sister, you want them to cheer for you… as loud as they can.
by Kimura by Fedor on Sep 9, 2008 1:10 PM EDT up reply actions
This wasnt the first time and it’s throughout the whole fights.
by DBG on Sep 9, 2008 4:29 PM EDT up reply actions
What? You think she’s going to cheer every other time her husband fights? And only the beginning, middle, or end of the fight. Have you never cheered someone on, especially a loved one?
Just make sure that, if your wife attends a competition and thousands of people are in attendance and she is there to support you, to tell her to open her mouth at specific, alloted times, and to keep her voice down when she does it. (Make note: i’m not calling out your wife or trying to be disrespectful).
Do you get my point at all???? If you don’t get it, I’m certainly done trying to explain it.
by Kimura by Fedor on Sep 9, 2008 8:14 PM EDT up reply actions
he said jardine in the interview.
and i posted that quote days ago mania. no props? hahahaha. just kidding. :)
by weoweoweo on Sep 9, 2008 4:22 AM EDT up reply actions
If it was Nate’s wouldn’t it be sweaty? Nate fought earlier in the night, at least if it was Jardine’s it might have been dry.
by jay on Sep 9, 2008 9:05 AM EDT up reply actions
It is kinda cool that Evans and Jardine are such close friends, because they certainly look like the odd couple.
by naturalshadow on Sep 9, 2008 1:33 AM EDT reply actions
I wonder who is pitching and who is catching.
by DirtyML on Sep 9, 2008 1:52 AM EDT up reply actions
Yeah. that is pretty cool considering Rashad stopped Jardine from winning TUF. Kind of cool to think about. OFF TOPIC, I was thinking. People say that Rashads record is bigger n the UFC than it is listed on sherdog. I was thinking that it could be one of two reasons. Either Rashad initially lied on TUF about his record, or that although they were exhibition bouts, added his wins from TUF to his overall professional record. Just a though. He beat Mike Whitehead, Keith Jardine, Brad Imes, and one other person I believe. Just a thought.
by RyanHobbs on Sep 9, 2008 3:03 AM EDT up reply actions
I don’t think they count wins on the TUF show outside the UFC since they are considered exhibitions.
by Aaron_W on Sep 9, 2008 9:23 AM EDT up reply actions
Wins on the TUF show don’t even count on the participants official UFC record even, because like Aaron state they are considered exhibition fights. Fights on the final however do count.
For example, that is why Amir is still only 1-0.

And you know he’ll want to avenge his loss to chonan somewhere down the line!
by chefdaddy on Sep 9, 2008 7:53 AM EDT up reply actions
Dana has publicly stated that Okami is next to face Anderson after Cote. He just got hurt and that is why Cote got an opportunity.
by WB on Sep 9, 2008 9:39 AM EDT up reply actions
Only problem is that he’ll have to drop to 170. I doubt Chonan will want to come up to 185. He lost to a bloated Karo already in the Octagon.

I may have missed it posted elsewhere but anyone have info on the t-shirt Rashad was wearing at the weigh-ins and upon his entrance? It looked like a mug shot.
by PJJ on Sep 9, 2008 10:13 AM EDT reply actions
Someone said it was a mugshot of Bill Gates after a reckless (?) driving charge years ago.

It was the mug shot of Bill Gates. The pictures are everywhere, google it.

He’s wearing other peoples cups, and twisting his own nipples in public. I…I don’t know. It speaks for itself.
