Rashad vs Forrest… Could be boring or exciting as hell

by TTT on Sep 7, 2008 12:17 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

chuck never deserved a title shot even if he would have won simply because hes had a subpar record the last few fights, and lyoto, thiago, and rashad having better records. Im just glad rashad reinforced that!

Now rashad vs crybaby dumbo has the makings of a really exciting back and forth match, i ll go even further and say possibly light heavy match of the year!

by blah on Sep 7, 2008 1:38 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’d go with Forrest Griffin any time of the day! Rashad may have a skillfull technique w/that 1-KO punch but someone has to put an end to Rashad’s showboating. I just want his record blemished! His time will come. Calling The Dragon[in case he wins againt Forrest]!!!

by TheNegation on Sep 7, 2008 2:35 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I have to disagree with you….If Chuck whould have won that gives him wins over 2 top ten fighters, Compared to Sliva and Lyoto who have never beaten anybody in the top rankings.

by Robert on Sep 8, 2008 7:54 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

prior to this fight Rashad was not in any top 10 rankings, so no he is not a top 10 fighter, however prior to getting handled by Lyoto Sokodjou was ranked in almost every top 10. therefore Lyoto would be far more deserving than chuck regardless of whether he would have won. Undefeated versus someone who was 50/50 in his last 4 fights (not including the Rashad fight)i think the pick should be obvious… the only quality win chuck has recently is over Wandi, and it was awesome but that’s it… fighting top competition only helps your rank if you don’t get KTFO (Rampage)

by The_Cannibal on Sep 8, 2008 7:30 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

The Rashad win can only mean one of two things. He has either improved drastically or Chuck is officially old.

by c-war on Sep 7, 2008 12:29 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Maybe both?

by DirtyML on Sep 7, 2008 12:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Agreed… a bit of each.

by DJ on Sep 7, 2008 12:47 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Definitely a bit of both. Chuck is old and he showed it…plain and simple. He’s almost 39 now and he’s still the same fighter but a little slower and not nearly as intimidating as he once was.

Rashad was calm aand he fought a very smart fight and stuck to a great gameplan. It was nice to see him in great shape and come in very focused.

by Buster Bluth on Sep 7, 2008 12:58 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Chuck has had that moron trainer forever HE NEEDS to find a new camp and try something new.

by Lycan on Sep 7, 2008 3:30 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

all intrigue of a chuck v anderson fight is gone, if rashad can land a loopy shot like that anderson would really damage chuck. he threw the right punch with the uppercut but was just a bit slow, pretty sad to me cuz it felt like the end of a career… hopefully the haters can appreciate this guy and give him his due…beer belly and all.

by crowls on Sep 7, 2008 7:37 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

It’s nearing the end of Chuck’s career, his body is looking a little more saggy each time out. Around his age, the testostorne stops producing and the estrogen starts… not everyone can be a Randy Couture. Chuck’s had his heyday of KO’ing just about everyone, now he’s getting KO’d. He’s still got a few fights in him and he beat up Wanderlei not to long ago, and Rashad didn’t do anything to Chuck except for that one perfect devastating punch’.

Chuck still has some talent to give the best fighters fits, but he’s got to have a lot taken out of him from this KO.

by THORAZINE on Sep 8, 2008 1:34 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

A bit of both Chuck just isn’t able to effectively attack any longer he more a counter puncher now which is was Rashad took advantage of

by staples on Sep 7, 2008 1:11 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I think Rashad really looked good. some fighters come off long lay offs rusty, suga was sharper then ever and I never imagined that he had power like that. Much respect to Rashad.

by john on Sep 7, 2008 7:23 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

he did look good, that herky jerky odd timing and head movement gave chuck problems… nobody except for wanderlei goes forward against chuck anymore and he can only stalk tito so i’m disappointed and think chuck may be done. i don’t know about rashad’s “power” tho, he’s always thrown hard punches but that was a home run swing and it landed, lots of guys would look like they have impressive power if they sat down and swung that hard, it’s guys like chuck and anderson and others that can counter punch, punch flat footed or backing up and rock ppl that impress me with their power

john, were u as confused as i was by the end of the franklin hammill fight, hammill didn’t look rocked or anything…great body kick but i didn’t get the stoppage or the fact that he had no problem with it. he was outclassed and i though rich looked bigger and far better throughout but the end of the fight left me unsatisfied. matt recovered right after and looked fine a minute later when he congratulated rich…i dint’t get it

by crowls on Sep 7, 2008 7:54 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hamill was gassed and taking massive amounts of kicks. That last one knocked the breath outta him that wasnt there to begin with. Not sure how you can gas out by not doing anything the whole fight though. He looked terrible.

by c-war on Sep 7, 2008 10:02 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Dont under estimate the pain that comes with a liver shot! I have NO problems at all with the stoppage. I have seen VERY tough guys like Herring BUCKLE to liver kicks.

I knew Hammil would be a stuborn idiot and try to stand with Rich. Hammil is not the most intelligent fighter, just too damn stubboprn for his own good. His chin and iron will are impressive but he needs to start thinking! THats why I had $400 on Franklin.

by john on Sep 8, 2008 8:04 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Wow! This is the FIRST UFC I’ve missed in a long time (wife’s best friend’s 25th birthday). Looks like it was a good one.

by UFCAddict on Sep 7, 2008 12:30 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

It was definitely a solid card and I feel bad for those that dissed it and decided not to watch it.

by Buster Bluth on Sep 7, 2008 12:58 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah they showed all but 1 fight, which was put online anyway for free. Great card, especially when Liddell ate dirt lol.

by Toms Bombs on Sep 7, 2008 9:20 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I hope Chuck sticks with it. I enjoy watching him fight win or lose. If he can fight three times next year and win impressivly, he can get his title shot before he turns 40.

by Djs3467 on Sep 7, 2008 12:30 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Maybe 2 brutal knockouts of top competition could land him back in contention. But if mediocre, then I would agree 3 more wins.

by c-war on Sep 7, 2008 1:15 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I think he should retire. Another decapitation like that and his body’s gonna go straight to the ER!!

by TheNegation on Sep 7, 2008 2:36 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Any fighter who announces a one-dimensional game plan (“gonna knock him out”) and sticks to it the entire fight, he’s going to get beat by any fighter that can effectively nullify it.

The same thing is happening with Matt Hughes. All he’s got is his take down… when other fighters are able to stuff the take down, Hughes is in trouble. If all Chuck brings to a fight is his right hand, and the other fighter can deal with it effectively… Liddell is screwed.

Now take Rashad for example, he’s is first and foremost a wrestler. But Rashad didn’t use ANY wrestling in that win over Chuck. Even though I don’t really care for Rashad as a fighter, kudos to him for reinventing himself for each fight. (Mr. Couture has done the same thing, which is why he’s still around and a threat to any other fighter.)

by Soups on Sep 7, 2008 12:30 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Well said. I agree with every bit of that. Couture is good but isnt really great at anything except knowing the opponents weakness and attacking it.

One dimensional fighters are getting cleaned out of their division slowly but surely.

by c-war on Sep 7, 2008 1:20 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Rashad has alot to be proud of. There were many doubters, including myself. Watching such an icon fall over like a tree was just scary. Rashad, you belong.

by DJ on Sep 7, 2008 12:33 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

who’s next for hendo? I’m thinking a big named opponent.

by Toad on Sep 7, 2008 12:40 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Hell yea, that was a great fight for Dan, his Take down defense looked great, and he made Palhares pay on almost every attempt. He should get Marquardt to see who gets a rematch with A. Silva.

by O damn he got caught on Sep 7, 2008 1:50 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Just a side note, Palhares must have a hard ass head, cause Dan cracked him with that right hand so many times..

by O damn he got caught on Sep 7, 2008 2:10 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hendo even admitted it that Palhares has a helmet! “Strong chin” he says. Well it’s true. Because I thought Palhares was knocked down. Seemed like he was just playin’ possum….And did you see that wicked downward punch Hendo made at the end of the 3rd?! Reminded me of Shogun…

by TheNegation on Sep 7, 2008 2:38 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, it was the same type of punch he used to finish Wandy after he knocked him down.

by Pat on Sep 7, 2008 5:13 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Dan is Back, Hey joe silva when you put a great striker, grappler, wrestler like Dan in with a one trick pony like palhares thats what you get a uneventful fight.

How about putting dan in with a well rounded fighter, Marquardt vs Dan would be awsome but I think he decerves a rematch with silva

by dia mette on Sep 7, 2008 10:55 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

How about a rematch w/The Spider after another big win…Is that name big enough?

by TheNegation on Sep 7, 2008 2:39 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hendo vs Marquard maybe..

by Mysterio on Sep 7, 2008 12:51 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Thats what I was thinking. Would be a sick fight.

I was hoping Kampmann would put up a good fight but he took a few too many solid shots early. Still think he is quality though. He’ll be back.

by Ca$z on Sep 7, 2008 1:18 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

kampann looked like a pipsqueak compare to nate. i know its the cliche thing to say do when a fighter loses, but martin does look like a ww and would do better to move down a weight class.

by b.w. on Sep 7, 2008 3:16 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I always thought Kampmann was pretty swoll for MW untill he was standing next to Marquardt

by belfort_fan on Sep 7, 2008 3:53 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

What a weak gameplan Chuck had. The entire fight it was obvious he was trying to load up his famous overhand right. With that much telegraphing I’m not surprised at the outcome.

Maybe a legkick or bodyshot or heaven forbid mix in a jab or two. Having the willingness to rely on only one weapon is a recipe for an early nap

by Sureal on Sep 7, 2008 12:57 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

It wasn’t just that, Rashad did a good job of throwing him off, he came out with good head movement, foot work and it looked to me like Chuck didn’t wanna open up cause he was waiting for the take down. Rashad kept switching stance’s and putting his right leg forward like he was gonna shoot. The threat was always there, even though he didn’t use it. Then like he said, he got Chuck chasing him around, and at the end of the first round you could tell Liddell was frustrated, he threw that head kick at the bell cause he was pissed off.

I think Chuck still has another year, maybe 2 in the sport, Rashad caught him with a good game plan. But you could also see that coming too, he threw that overhand right so many times in the first round and missed a couple times in the second as well, Chuck shoulda picked up on that.

by O damn he got caught on Sep 7, 2008 1:09 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I noticed Rashad throwing that overhand right many times as well…it was obvious he was hoping to land that on Chuck’s face and he finally did.

by Chadx23 on Sep 7, 2008 5:29 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

that was an impressive ko it looked like chucks neck bone did the wave when they showed the reverse angle slow mo shot. glad to see hes ok. i hate to see any fighter move forward with their hands down

by day1er on Sep 7, 2008 1:12 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

im kinda upsetwith hamills performance.. i wonder what that was about. i missed this ppv but was able to find some of it on youtube lol.

by tuffguy01 on Sep 7, 2008 1:22 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Hamil didn’t look terrible, but Rich chopped him down on the body. By the second round, he had no shot cause his legs and his mid section were probably hurtin pretty bad.

by O damn he got caught on Sep 7, 2008 1:28 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Chuck needs to change his style or he’s gonna keep taking losses. Like an aging pitcher, he’s gotta throw something different if he doesn’t have that 95mph fastball anymore. His chin seems to have betrayed him with age. He’s lost 3 of his last four fights (rampage(L), jardine(L), Silva(W), Evans(L)) and has been knocked out in 2 of the 3 losses. Sorry Chuck, the “hands down, load up” approach isn’t going to do it for you anymore.

by Fidel Cashflow on Sep 7, 2008 1:29 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

He’s been knocked down in his last four fights too

by Brandon on Sep 7, 2008 10:48 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’ll break it down.. Chuck’s boxing sucks, he’s a fake.. all he’s been doing is knocking out guys with no power in their hands or boxing at all! he was just begging to get knocked out against Rashad that is what happened.. he needs to go to his boy Dana so he can fight chumps like Vernon White and Jeremy Horn again..

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 1:34 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Rashad and Chuck could go at it 100 times in the standup and Rashad would win 99 times cause Rashad has more power, better chin and everything that counts in boxing and the speed Rashad could throw 2 punches before Chuck throws 1..

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 1:43 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I wouldn’t go that far, I still think Chuck wins that fight on the feet 4 out of 5 times, Chuck was landing more shots, and out pointing Rashad up until he got caught.

by O damn he got caught on Sep 7, 2008 2:05 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Actually, Rashad was winning that fight untill that point.

by Toms Bombs on Sep 7, 2008 3:34 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

No he wasn’t. Chuck took the first round.

by naturalshadow on Sep 7, 2008 5:38 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

chuck was winning on all 3 judge’s score cards at the end of the first. read the articles on ufc.com

by colton on Sep 25, 2008 2:16 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

look how many times Rashad threw the overhand right before he finally landed it. Rashad won because just like Jackson said after round 1 “your pissing him off” and he did piss Chuck off and Chuck made yet another stupid mistake and paid for it dearly. I’m sure Chuck’s chin is less durable now than it was before, but whos isnt after being in this sport 10 years??? Plus I dont care who you are, if you took that punmch from Rashad the same way Liddell did 99% of guys are getting dropped except maybe Hendo who has a steel head

by Chadx23 on Sep 7, 2008 5:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Rob your an idiot…. If Liddell wanted to be boring like Rashad he could easly beat him. Throw like 7punches per round and win a boring ass 3rounder. He was trying to go out their KO him so that he could for sure get that title shot. To say Rashad has more power LOL!!!! Please watch more mma before even commenting dude. The only thing you got right was Rashad has more speed thats it.

by Khaos_warrior on Sep 7, 2008 2:17 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Why does he need to watch more MMA? The fact is Chuck was not able to put Rashad down when he connected, but we see the result of what happened when Rashad landed solid on Chuck. I’ve never seen Chuck put anyone out in the brutal fashion that he himself was put out with last night, so Rashad could possibly have a power edge. It’s not as far fetched as you attempt to make it sound.

by Its2bad on Sep 7, 2008 2:45 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

It is far fetched, and obviously you never saw both of Chuck’s knockouts in Pride.

by naturalshadow on Sep 7, 2008 5:41 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

lets see, babalu, vernon white, randy couture, alistair overeem just to name a few? must have missed all those knockouts eh? whatd you start following mma last week? do your homework before posting

by brendan on Sep 7, 2008 9:14 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Have you guys ever seen Chuck win with a one punch KO like that? no you haven’t so obviously Rashad Evans punches harder.. sure Liddell has got power in his hands but Rampage punches harder than him too! i’ve watched MMA and Boxing for many years dude! you’re still caught in the Liddell hype and you need to let it go.. I like Liddell too but Rashad could take shots from Liddell and punch back even harder

by RoB on Sep 8, 2008 10:29 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I second that ,have you even seen Chuck fight before .Everybody knows who has the hardest hands in light heavyweight.Chuck just got caught,Rashad threw all his strength in to that punch.Chuck has knocked out people when it seems that he barely threw it.

by scott on Sep 7, 2008 3:25 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

yea he dropped Randy twice and Vernon White once with some shots that did not look that hard compared to what Rashad threw

by Chadx23 on Sep 7, 2008 5:35 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

ok so why is it that Chucks head almost fell off?

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 4:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

the technique and speed he had in that punch made it harder than any punch Chuck could ever throw.. obviously Chuck is bigger and posseses another kind of power..

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 4:59 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Chuck was also caught in the middle of moving forward with his own punch. That makes Rashad’s punch that much harder. If you hit a fastball with the sweet spot on a bat, it doesn’t take much to knock it out of the park.

by naturalshadow on Sep 7, 2008 5:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

did any1 else notice rashad rubbing his nipples like gsp did b4 his fight? maybe his camp told him to do it.

by ruan-fiy on Sep 7, 2008 2:40 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Now to talk about the great fighter Rashad ,you know the guy that some people on here all of sudden people think is the hardest hitter ,and best boxer.I remember Tito beating his ass,but you same people hate on him .If i am not mistaken he beat both of the fighters in the next title match, but remember Tito is a has been.I do not want to hear people saying it was a draw ,the only reason it was a draw was because he grabbed the fence and they took a point .

by scott on Sep 7, 2008 3:32 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

scott the ortiz rashad fight was a wrestling match and tito just happened to be the better wrestler. lets face it tito is NOT known for his hands. rashad beat chuck tito couldnt. rashad beat bonner and jardine and i seriously dont think tito could do that either.

by tuffguy01 on Sep 7, 2008 3:52 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

oh ,but he can beat the guy who won the TUF ,but not the guys that lost it ,styles make matches and Tito would take Bonner and Jardine straight to the ground and gnp the rest of the fight ,maybe we will see one day .All i was saying was does Tito really deserve all the hating that he gets, say what you want Tito beat them .Actually Rashad was suppose to be the better wrestler, remember he was a amateur wrestler in college

by scott on Sep 7, 2008 4:19 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

i was a huge tito fan till i woke up and saw the big picture..that tito cannot beat a top 10 fighter. say what u want about the forrest fight but 9 times out of 10 forrest would win. tito has proved that he is an idiot by the comments he makes and by thinking he is worth paying over a million bucks to lose.

by tuffguy01 on Sep 7, 2008 5:09 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I think Chuck and Tito should fight one last time with the loser officially retiring. Both are still great fighters but their age is showing. Younger guys with quicker speed and punches will still do more damage than someone who wants to wrestle. You can learn to block the takedown you have to have a good chin to stand and take a punch. Hey, I hate it that Chuck lost but the bell is ringing and his time is almost up.

by Sheriff on Sep 7, 2008 5:24 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Chuck would kill Tito for a third time. It is not like either of the first fights were close.

by naturalshadow on Sep 7, 2008 5:47 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

no, Tito has way better defense than Chuck so the same thing would never happen to Tito if he fought Rashad.. Rashad was just not scared of Chuck’s hands and kind of exposed him!

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 5:29 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yes scott you’re right styles make matches.. and Tito doesn’t deserve any hate i love Tito.. and he would take out Jardine, Wanderlei and many top fighters.. just like Chuck loses to good strikers with speed and power cause almost nobody can take him down, if they wanted to make sure Chuck loses like they did with Tito it’s just to match him up with Vera and the big boys..

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 5:34 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

do you seriously think that tito can beat wandy? lol and please expain how tito has better defense than chuck

by tuffguy01 on Sep 7, 2008 6:17 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’ll just say that Tito doesn’t carry his hands down by his waist and he actually uses head movement and keeps his guard tight.. That’s why Tito wouldn’t get knocked out like Chuck did.. Chuck’s best thing has always been his takedown defense when he fights good wrestlers with no punching power and bad standup! I do think and believe that Tito would beat Wanderlei and should be the favourite in that fight since he is much bigger and a much better wrestler he would take him down and punish him!

by RoB on Sep 7, 2008 7:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Noooooooo wayy… Tito is a little crybaby.. It’s either his way or no way.. He is a little pretty boy who would have had a much better carreer in WWF wrestling than in MMA… Tito had WAY to big of an ego to begin with… I don’t understand why anybody would like that dude.. He isn’t even that good of a wrestler.. The Ortiz Liddell fight was the hilight of titos carreer and when he lost he acted like a little bitch.. I never liked him on the TV show and never liked him as a person.. He’s a big meathead who somehow got a shot in MMA and won a few fights with his wrestling and size… I 100% guarantee Liddell would win against tito 10 times in a row – and YES liddell is WAY past his prime.. Do you actually think tito has the balls to fight Rampage or Silva?? Hell no.. He’d run away like the scared little fake ass bitch that he is.. End of story!

by Vick on Sep 12, 2008 11:41 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I am tired of hearing the “I got caught” line from Lidell. How about giving some props to your opponent dude? He said the same thing about Rampage. I think Chuck needs to be a little more humble in defeat. He didn’t even stay to talk to Joe Rogan right after the fight, he just walked out like the sore loser that he is. Grow up Chuck!

Belfart fan you are an idiot! Of course he got caught! but whenever he says that chuck is trying to say, “I’m a better fight and that was a lucky punch” and if you were a little bit more knowledgeable, you would know that that punch came from hard training and meticulous analyzing of Chuck’s style. But why am I wastin my time trying to explain this to you? you were obviouly dropped on your head when you were a baby

You really amaze me.. hands down, chin up = knockout! it’s that simple he can have any gameplan he wants to, but if he keeps his hands where he does bad things will happen when he actually fights someone that can punch (Evans, Rampage) so far.. and the thing that you’re talking about, how can Rashad miss the overhand right when Chuck uses no head movement and has his chin straight up? Chuck’s uppercut was very slow, you never see good boxers throw uppercuts like that without protecting themselves do you? I think he should move to Juanito Ibarra’s camp to learn some boxing!

Did anyone see Chuck’s face at the post fight conference. I didn’t realize he got hit in the face that hard, the chin of course though. Anyways anyone who knows how to box is going to win the fight and Chuck must have missed the lesson about keeping your hands up and chin down.

DANA F***kd up in garenteeing rashad the next title shot, does he deserve yes I think so but it would have been better to match up rashad with wanderlie.

I think wanderlie would do to rashad what he did to jardine and he would do the same thing to forrest if givin a chance as well

WOW, ok if you started watching MMA 10 minutes ago please spare us your expert opinion on how to fight. If it was that easy YOU would be doing it. Do some research on some bouts that took place before this year and then come back and make some educated comments that don’t make you look like an absolute toolbox.

rant off

It was pretty crazy watching it in slow though. Rashad’s punch looked like it was moving 3x faster than Chuck’s uppercut. Seems like an odd decision to lead in with an uppercut…but in slow at least that uppercut looked weak. Granted, not every swing is going to be a home run like the one Rashad zinged in.

Rashad is still a joke – you think Kimbo needs to show him what a “loser” he is. Although I do not know if it is acceptable for Kimbo to tie one hand behind his back!!!!

I went for Rashad as did with Jardine, but I did see more of a descision win then knockout. I did say that only because Chuck is a better striker than Rashad that doesn’t mean that he will not get caught by Rashad who as we have seen in the past is a pretty good striker. I truly believed that Rashad had the skills to beat Chuck as I said that he is one of the most versatile wrestlers in the divsion. The haters have to show respect now. I am so glad that Dana is going to be pissed at this result

me too, the best thing about the KO.. is that the UFC handpicked Rashad only for Chuck to get a easy KO/TKO win like he usually does against wrestlers and get the title shot.. but Rashad screwed up Dana’s masterplan big time! he won over the system, in your face Dana..

Lol, They also handpicked Rampage Jackson as an easy KO for Chuck, because at the time, they thought Rampage was washed up over from his losses in Pride. I love when the tide changes.

Funniest part of Chuck vs Evans.. Dana’s face when he congratulates Rashad, and stands silently next to Chuck. Hahaha

I’m a long-time Liddell fan…having said that he hit his peak about three years ago. It is hard to stay hungry in this game. Chuck should be proud of his accomplishments, hold his head high and step aside. I have never been an Evans fan but I must give him his due. Rashad is tough, conditioned and undefeated. I think he and Forrest will be a good fight but Rampage will regain his title no matter who wins.
