ok, i remember reading on here after rich franklin’s last fight that they offered him a fight with henderson, i believe at the free july event/maybe not, but anyway, franklin said he couldn’t peak that soon after his most recent fight. fair enough if he didn’t feel like 2 months was enough time to get ready for hendo. but this time around when the fight was talked about franklin said he wanted to move up to 205, i’m guessing to avoid hendo again. call me crazy but i’d have to say this is a mild case of one fighter ducking another.

well honestly Franklin cant afford the loss….he cant get passed A. Silva, so he’s looking to mix it up a little and see what he can do at LHW since hes a pretty big dude anyway.

John, do you still got money on Palhares, given the odds aren’t the spread you thought?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Franklin is ducking Hendo. He’s afraid to lose again at 185. Somthing about Franklin has always bothered me. He seems to be relitivley classless in victory. I know, he always does praise his opponents, but it comes off as kind of phoney to me. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I really get that kind of vibe from him.
