Nice video. Gotta love that stoner Rogan! The term “Rape Choke” will be in my vocabulary for the rest of my life. During the Wanderlei/Jardine fight, once Silva rocked him and Jardine crumbled to the ground, Wanderlei applied the rape choke and I jumped out my seat yelling “He got the Rape Choke!!” so all my freinds and nieghbors could hear me. It was GREAT!!!!
That comedian that cam on after Joe, I thought was Matt Hamill at first, especially how he started talking….

Joe knows mma, i rather hear him over goldberg any fight…plus he got’s the balls to tell the fighters how it is

i don’t mind goldie. he gets a lot of crap cause Rogan tosses him under the bus. i’ve been watchign a lot of unleashed and realized that Goldie says stuff cause rogan will sit there and not say anythign, goldie will say something waiting for Rogan to respond and get nothing. as a commentator they have to say something, they can’t have dead air, so he has to pull stuff out of his butt cause Rogan leaves him hanging.

Joe leaves him hanging because everytime he says something its the exact same thing Joe just said a minute ago. Its like he’s a parrot. On top of that Goldie has been commentating on the UFC much longer than Rogan and seems to know very little about up and coming fighters and also doesn’t seem to know proper technique or moves. I know he’s supposed to be the guy who gets you amped or excited but I think Joe does a better job only talking at certain points in the fight than Goldie does talking the whole fight. Sometimes dead air is a good thing, you can hear the fighters breathing heavily, their corners shouting commands, and the crowd getting into the event.

Goldie is an excellent commentator. He may be a little annoying at times but after hearing people like the pro wrestling goldberg commentate, you realize he is not bad at all.

i want to see Rogan ask one of his dumb after fight questions and see some fighter turn around and pummel the Sh!t out of him. that would be worth the price of the ppv alone.

If it’s not Joe n’ Goldie… its’ only 2nd best.

i saw that fight and was a bit confused, isnt it against the rules to grab the throat or trachea?
by blakemore on Aug 22, 2008 10:08 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Its illegal to try and choke them out that way but pinning them down and beating their face in is another story. I’d say its more of a tee off but Rogan takes the cake with the rape choke.

I think the ref was too scared to tell Wandi to stop at that point.

IF Joe could fight anyone on this planet he would kick the livin’ ‘shit’ out of ‘Carlos Mencia’

by O damn he got caught on Aug 22, 2008 10:31 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
you have a mistake there. you mentioned Chappelle when i know you meant to say “only cause George Carlin died”
by KitsuneX on Aug 22, 2008 10:51 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
No I took care of that, I said “Funniest man ALIVE” , but George was good too =P

Rogan is very funny. The late, great Bill Hicks is my all time favourite.

what about the late, great Chris Farley? He was the man too. But yea, you have to go with Chappelle. Dave needs to get off his ass (or whatever the fuck he’s doing) and start doing some stand up again.

farley and belushi were both great comic actors, but i dont know so much about their stand-up. i wish farley were still alive. i would love to see him and will ferrell do a complete movie together. it seems jack black has taken over farley’s role as the funny “fat” guy.

The Om shirt is good. Lord knows Tibetan Buddhism and the Upinshads are the first thing I think of when I think “Joe Rogan.” Anyway, as far as I can tell, Joe Rogan has one of the sweetest jobs out there.
