And the winner of the most recent MMAmania.com caption contest is:
"Introducing the newest additions to EliteXC’s heavyweight division."
Congratulations to MMAmania.com reader "James S" for the winning entry. As promised, we’ll send you an MMAmania.com t-shirt for being the best of the bunch.
With a total of 266 entries, it wasn’t easy coming up with a winner. For those of you who are scratching your heads over my pick, keep in mind this process is entirely subjective. It was all a matter of making me laugh.
Usually that honor is reserved for Mr. Mania's physical shortcomings, but in this case it was the caption by site regular James S.
If anyone cares, Josh Barnett defeated Tank Abbott in the main event of the Inoki Genome Federation’s August 15 pro wrestling event.

How can this even be funny when it would mean that Josh Barnett, a top five heavyweight, would be in the EliteXC? Plus, half of those guys could probably beat Kimbo Slice. Mine was “Tank Abbott was told to stand with the black team. Age has clearly effected his vision” That resulted from analyzing the picture and knowing that Tank Abbott is getting old. Did you by chance judge the Michael Bisping/Matt Hammill fight? Okay no more. I’m sorry. I thought I was going to win my own shirt and I was so excited. My day has otherwise sucked so I thought this would brighten it up but then one of the many EliteXC jokes beat me.

You might as well give that award to like 20 people because there was so many EliteXC comparisons in all of those comments. I though “bispinghater” had some pretty funny ones. This one is just upsetting because in no way is this funny. Maybe it’s just because I thought mine was good enough to win. I didn’t see comments like this to be of any competition.

weak choice Mania… that’s caption is not even funny! this should have been a pannel of 3 judges, beacause there would be atleast 2 that would have stoped you from making that pick. But i do like these contests, should do them more often
