Paul 'Semtex' Daley vs Lyman Good Elite XC fight likely for September 20

Undefeated 170-pound Ring of Combat champion Lyman Good (7-0) is expected to ink a six fight deal with Elite XC shortly, according to FiveOuncesOfPain.com.
In addition, the New Jersey native and Team Tiger Schullman-trained fighter is rumored to make his promotional debut at "The Pit" in Albuquerque, N.M., on September 20 against Cage Rage Welterweight Champion Paul "Semtex" Daley.
Good most recently won a unanimous decision over Alex Aquino at Ring of Combat 18 in March. He also holds notable victories over "The Ultimate Fighter" contestants Mike Dolce and Eric Charles.
If this fight does go down on September 20, it will be the first for "Semtex" on U.S. soil since a January 25 knockout over Sam Morgan. Daley went into a quasi-retirement after the win and just recently returned to action with a first round knockout victory over Bojan Kosednar at a Cage Warriors show in his hometown of Nottingham, England, in July.
Daley has a huge following in England and is expected to turn a lot of heads when he makes his return to the states. He's on a six fight winning streak and has stopped his last five opponents with strikes. He represents one of the biggest threats to Elite XC Welterweight Champion Jake Shields' crown.
Albuquerque native Joey Villasenor is also expected to be in action at "The Pit" on September 20. He was originally rumored to be facing Murilo "Ninja" Rua in the main event, but that fight appears to be scrapped for now. A replacement for Ninja has not been announced.

Semtex is THE MAN. He should be the face of MMA for the UK not Bisping.

If the UFC was looking at WW’s for Season 3 of TUF its very possible that he may have been.
Paul Daley is a very exciting fighter to watch. I am happy that he is with EliteXC as opposed to Cage Rage.
Once Jake Shields gets his hands on Daley and more than likely defeats him, he will have no competition left outside of the UFC. Don’t be shocked to see him move to MW just to find a challenge!

Im taking Daley in the upset over Sheilds! Watch Daley’s improvement from fight to fight, its astonoshing! By the time they lock Horns Daley will have a lil something something up his sleeves to deal with Sheilds (who I am a big fan of). for those that dont know Paul Daley, I would best compare him to tiago Alves. Like Alves all Daley needs is to improve the takedown defense which is not hard to do, see Alves and Machida’s last fights for proof!
If Daley can keep it standing, He wouuld have a great chance of beating Sheilds….f Course if Jake gets it to the ground he will mount daley in no time and end the fight.
I still like SEMTEX!!! I am probably his biggest U.S fan!

I want to see Sheilds vs. Diego Sanchez because they are basically the same fighter. It would be a battle of who gets the mount 1st, then all thats left is to ground n pound away to a win.
Question: If Sheilds fought Diego, who do u like?

I would easily pick Sheilds, he seems to have less holes in his game and although Diego did great standing, it was against a guy who people have realitively no knowledge of. I’m letting everyone know now that Diego let that win go straight to his head and he’s going to play the standing game with Thiago which is a terrible idea. Also just to reiterate I don’t think Diego gets blown out by Alves nor would he get blown out by Shields but I’m going to say Thiago by TKO rd. 2 and Shields by decision split. Also its exciting to see what Lyman Good brings to the table, I’m hoping he can add some spark to the match against Daley but will probably be sleeping before the third.

Jake Shields for sure! Jake is one of the bigger WW’s and Diego is one of the smaller. We already seen Diego fight a bigger, dominant wrestler in Fitch.
