Fitch hasnt blown away his competotion the way george can simply dominate his competition fight after fight. Like fitch but think this fight will really show all the nay sayer’s just how complete and dominate a fighter he really is.George by submission in 2 and fedor,silva and george as lb. for lb. best fighters in the world.

Why do people consider a HW( Fedor ) as a top pound for pound fighter? The guy is the best heavyweight on the planet, who should beat people in the lower weight classes.
Its just my opinion, but its rediculouse. Being the best pound for pound, and the best fighter in the world are too different things. Fedor is top three 3 in that discussion for sure, but not pound for pound.

I kinda feel the same way. He is not a man to be overlooked. If GSP is not at the top of this game he is going to lose.

I liked his direct shot at Randy. PR is part of the business. Fitch is obviously not comfortable in front of the camera. If someday he gets to the pinnacle, he might want to work on expressing himself in a more “camera friendly” way. At any rate, the top three fights on this card tonight are all great/important match-ups. Let’s hope that they meet expectations.

I’m just saying that his body language comes across as very shy and uncomfortable (e.g., rubbing his hands, not making eye contact with the camera). If he wasn’t fighting GSP I’d be pulling for him as he comes across as a very grounded and serious fighter. Fitch will be GSP’s toughest opponent next to BJ Penn.

Fitch keeps telling us that nobody gives him credit for his wins, but the only credible win he has is a against a unstable minded Diego. Fitch your nor underated your overated. HD net fights voted him number two in the world in the WW Division, I think he’s 8th maybee 7th. It all has to do with the competion you face and where they are when you do so.

the only top ten fighters that fitch has fought are diego sanchez and thiago alves..he was dominated by alves in the 1st round than he caught him with an up-kick in the 2nd round for the tko..pretty lucky to tko someone with an up-kick..than won a split decision over sanchez,he didnt dominate him at all..who has GSP fought in the top 10?

I like Fitchs chance in this fight. Wrestlers of his caliber rarely get submitted. On the ground he has one of the greatest bases. He is hard to sweep and come to think of it I do not recall anyone evey cleanly sweeping him. On the feet he has a huge reach advantage, that could absolutly frustrate the now Super Gun Shy GSP. If Fitch is willing to sit in the pocket, use his reach, I think there is a good posibilty that he walks away with the belt. I mean I do believe GSP has the unpper hand, but I do not believe Fitch is out of this fight and deep down inside I kind of want him to win. The GSP that I loved was the GSP of old, crazy hands and kicks, the GSP that was not afraid to fight on his feet. I am not all the interested in the wrestling GSP.

Sorry but, GSP has the 2 inch reach advantage 76" vs 74". GSP has a reach advantage on almost all LHW and even some HW’s.
