Won’t happen – no this time. Kongo is going to sleep in this one. The smell of the rose garden will be the only pleasent thing about this trip to Portland for him.

BROCK WILL KNOCK RANDY OUT! GURANTEED. I LIKE RANDY ALOT AND ALWAYS HAVE. REMEMBER LIDELL KNOCKED OUT RANDY 2 TIMES. AND TIM SYLVIA WAS NEVER WORTHY TO FIGHT COTURE ANYWAYS! AND HEITH HERRING WHIPPED CONGO? AND LESSNER DOMINATED ALL 3 OF HIS FIGHTS! FRANK MUIR WAS COVERD UP AND LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO HIDE’ WHAT A ASS WHIPPING! ANYWAYS’ MUIR GRABBED THAT ANKEL OUT OF PURE PANIC! ALSO HEITH HERRIN CHALLANGED BROCK TO STAND UP WITH HIM???? WOW WAS THAT A MISTAKE ! I PERSONELY HAVE NEVER SEEN A HEAVY WEIGHT LIKE HEATH HERRING GET HIT SO HARD ON HIS FEET WERE HE DOES 3 FLIPS IN THE AIR AND LANDS ON HIS FACE WITH ONE PUNCH! HERRING’S FACE WAS BROKEN. SO ANYWAYS JUST MY FOOD FOR THOUGHT….SINCERLY G,W

I agree completely, Brock is huge and packs a punch but Randy has amazing experience in the ring and i would love to see him win this one!

can you spell anything correctly?
is the caps lock needed?
by creagach on Oct 3, 2008 9:30 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Easy with the caps, anyway it will not be that easy going for Brock. He will certainly not come in there and knock Randy out that quick. He will have to do some serious work if he wants to make it last with Randy.

why does everyone still underestimate Randy? Easy win for Randy. Brock goes from a win against Herring to a title shot against the UFC HW Champ. Randy by sub (RNC).

lessner should go back to wwe beforehe gets maimed or he should go into acting this is not a matter of brawn only thats why muir got him
by solario on Oct 25, 2008 11:29 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah GW obviously a WWE fan and not an MMA fan. Randy has taken on the best of the best. Lesner has a future and not to say this wont be a tough fight, but Lesner isn’t going to mow over one of the best fighters of all time. New MMA fans over hipe some of the new guys.

Couture won’t beat Lesnar. Think about it, Brocks the missing link between human and gorilla. Ya know this guy is gifted with some incredible genes. You saw what he did with 1 punch, delivered to Herring. This time round, his striking, subbmission and ground skills are going to be alot better. Everyone still seems to be bringing WWE into the picture, Theres a fine line between actor and NCAA Champion.
These are my thoughts, and pretty damn good thoughts if you ask me. But anyways, Lesnar will win. Chuck us an email, if you wana say anything to me, wether it be insults or your own predictions.

Thank’s.

Lesnar’s punches just seems not powerful enough to knock someone out. It just seems to do some scrapes and bruises but not strong enough to knock em out. I think couture is gonna take the win.

Ken Flo by TKO as well.

the heavyweight devision is screwed but lesnar can change that he IS the future of the mma, one of the biggest mistake ufc has made is letting avloski go. He is going to be best fighter after he will beat fedor.
by adil on Aug 28, 2008 1:20 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
dude…lesnar vs kongo good but i’ve been reading over at mma bay that ufc may be announcing as early as ufc 88 that randy couture is back and he could be fighting as early as ufc 91. There are also rumours that the ufc may have signed fedor. With 2 matches left on randy coutures contract and with him being 45 years old, the ufc is trying to get as much out of him in his 2 final fights of his career. 1st match ufc91 randy vs brock…huge…huge and will headline ufc 91. 2nd match in 2009, randy vs fedor in the ufc as his last match.
Best case senario for the UFC is that Brock beats Couture and then Fedor beats Couture as they would then be able to set up yet another mega heavyweight fight between brock and fedor. It’s all about money and everyone would be winning in this triangle!

gonzaga would beat the crap out of lesnar. lesnar is just a big fuck. if he was a normal size everyone would kick his panzy ass. he is big and dumb. the guy is roided out of his mind. if he gets off steroids he is just another guy getting knocked out in the ufc.

he’s not dumb,
he uses what he’s got.
interesting fighter.
got a certain skill set too.
gonzaga would beat the crap out of brock though.
i’d brock might have a better chance against randy just due to age and size.
but randy should be able to deal with brock too. has brock been tested lately?
i mean roids……?
by patrickgamil on Sep 1, 2008 1:37 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
very curious how congo/brock would play out.
congo is VERY strong.
brock could get hit hard, and might not be able to take congo down at will if congo prepares. congo might perform some rhinoplasty with his knee in a chute or clinch situation.
brock might get side control and prefer to just hold it for 5 minutes of kneeing as herring did a bit to congo and brock did a couple of times to herring.
what goes around comes around.
also congo is not going to take brock lightly after herrings fight

What is this ,Brock’s 3rd fight and he’s fighting the “Natural”? What this is, is Dana White taking a huge risk bringing this meathead into a legitamate organization and pimping him like he’s cheap suit, and when he got his ass handed to him by Mir Dana had to legitamize the decision and being he is the one who puts the fights together. Well look at what decision he made, better hope to god Dana that your boy comes through, otherwise “you” have a big problem on your payroll.
by Tax on Sep 5, 2008 7:09 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Brock got his ass handed to him? I don’t think we saw the same fight. Mir was being beat so bad he was screaming ya’ll quit! Mir just got lucky Brock was inexperienced and was able to catch his ankle on the way out. Brock already has the REAL wrestling experience, hard striker(just ask Herring.. and that was just a jab!), and with a lil work on submissions he is going to be a devistating force to be reckoned with!

I like 2 read all these lesnar hater comments…just as much as i’m going 2 like lesnar bring down every UFC heavyweight that they put in front of him…Brock is fighting Randy because Randy and Dana have a feud going because Randy wants out of the UFC..therefore Randy faces the MONSTER ….and is going to get rocked just like Heath did and get hammered with the hammer fist…

I can’t believe people think Lesnar is going to win. I am a Lesnar fan, but Couture is a legend and I believe Couture is going to dominate Lesnar just like everyone else in the heavyweight division. Lesnar has a punchers chance, but go Couture.

i think lesner will win either by tko or knockout, but i wouldnt count randy out at all, he has a lot of expeirance, has incredible skills, and really good gameplans, but i think brock is going to be smart and defend the takedown attemps and keep the fight on its feet, and i think brock has a big stand up advantage, so i see him winning by tko ot knockout.

Wandy Silva vs Rich Franklin is more interesting..

Iv got a bad feeling the natural could be over after this one!!
Im not a huge lesnar fan and think his attitude is wrong for the sport, however hes young hungry and huge! Randy although he is a legend hasnt got the best of mma records, currently at 15-8-0 thats more than half his fights ended in defeat?! Plus hes now 45, i hope he proves me wrong, but i just feel its gony be a wrestling match and brock is so much bigger and stronger, randy will have to use all of his experience to win as he doesnt really have ko power!!
by mo on Sep 22, 2008 10:13 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I know its a little late to respond to this but your math is jacked. 15-16-0 would be over half of his fights ,15-8-0 which he has means he has a 65.2 win percentage. which means he has loss percentage of about a 34.8. way less than half of his fights.
by Psyqo78®™ on Nov 2, 2008 10:18 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
every fight randy has won has been because of his wrestling, either control guys pushing them on the fence or controlling them on the ground, I really don’t see that happening in this fight, so I really wonder how can randy win this one. also considering the fact that brock has very good conditioning.

yet another newbie…greetings maniacs. not siding with anyone in particular but while i would like Couture to win and send Lesnar back to WWGayness, i am considering Lesnar’s size, speed and age. I mean Mir beat him but I bet he wouldn’t wanna do fight him again.

I agree with two comments above about Randy only winning if using his wrestling (i would add his dirty boxing in clinch as well) and a second comment about his record. I never figured out why people put him in the stars and all. Randy is just smart and always has a great game plan, comes prepared for the fight. But honestly, disregarding the fact that i do not love him at all, he realistically stands no chance against Brock. I am not some huge Brock fan but you have to realize that Randy never fought anyone that strong and also with great wrestling experience. My preddiction is Brock via TKO or a decision since wrestling skills of both should nullify and when it comes to punching, Randy can rock (sometimes if lucky enough :)) while Brock hits pretty hard (and we havent seen nothing yet, i guarantee). And ofcourse i hope Brock wins so that Randy ass-kissing fans finally stop dreaming…

I think Lesner is worth having in the UFC and that he has a future, but the thing I don’t like is these uneducated WWE fans that blog idiocy. No way Lesner will mow over Randy. Go watch some MMA instead of WWE and you’ll be able to give a better opinion.

Brock belongs in UFC so deal with it people!!!
by Lizzy on Nov 10, 2008 8:16 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Brock may have some potential to be a force in the FUTURE, But right now he is an infant in MMA. He has THREE fights, one against a CAN 3-6, which counts for DICK ALL. His 2nd fight he got a QUICK lesson in BJJ and LOST. So far he SUCKS. Then he beats Heath (I have just as many LOSES as wins) Herring and all the sudden he will destroy Randy Couture. He couldn’t even finish a baddly injured HH. That was a GAURANTEED win for Brock and it wasn’t a coincidence that the UFC picked HH as an easy victom for their “cash cow”. HH got owned by Jake O’Brian, of course a bigger and better wrestler (Brock) would beat him. HH isn’t a one time champion, let alone a 5 time champ like Randy. Brock jumped into the DEEP END before he could swim and he will be drowning come Nov. 15.
