ANDERSON SILVA = Best P4P IN THE WORLD

by Chris on Jul 20, 2008 11:02 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

FEDOR = Best pound for pound in the world.

Sorry but Anderson should of destroyed Irvin like that. Tim at least had a little more of a chance than Irvin.

To thinkk most of you CRUCIFIED me all week when I tried to tell you that Irvin had no Business being in the same Cage with the spider and how he didnt even deserve a fight with Anderson! Most of you trashed and bashed me all week for it! U guys still feel that way?

Back to my winning ways! Won all but 2 of my bets last night! won back all that money I lost on UFC 86 plus $150!

anderson silva= best p4p in the world…….if fedor wasnt an MMA fighter that is.

ALL HAIL KING FEDOR. every heavyweight thats fought timmie has had trouble w him. fedor??? not so much…he plays cards right before he steps in the ring and destroys timmie like no one ever has!!!!!!!! anderson can start taking claim once he fights lyoto, page, wanderlei, rua, or lidell. the sandman truly didnt belong in there with him.

Look at Vera..I hope they tore his contract in half after that one, what a giant over-hyped, back peddling, fat hanging over elastic band, barely beating Reese Andy washed up greased up Asian with less fighting ability then a dead cat under a car seat. With that said, Silva and Fedor are still the kings and Dana White can still suck my asshole for disrespecting Fedor. Irvin ate a big punch, Sylvia got choked out immediately and hopefully ended that moose shaped human beings career for good. What a fantastic Saturday everybody…

Nice to know that comments like yours somehow end up here while I’m regularly modded for insulting people like you.

I do have to agree with him on one thing though, Vera was AWFUL. I literally almost fell asleep during that fight.

are you kidding me? Tim gets rocked in almost all of his fights and everybody knew Tim wouldn’t last on the ground against Fedor.

one word……ENGLISH

by keepn it real on Jul 20, 2008 11:32 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Fedor is sick, and it actually looked like he got better last night.. but anderson is just as good, you can’t compare the two they are just great in their own ways and way ahead of the game.. that being said.. .Affliction should really consider getting a cage… the ring really isn’t meant for MMA i used to disagree but after seeing babalu fall threw it twice it really shows that its not fair when you got a guy in a choke and if he moves and falls through rops you gotta start up again…..anyone agree??

by ricky on Jul 20, 2008 11:36 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Ricky goood post! I agree with everything! Affliction needs to get a cage…fedor is always getting better no matter how weak his opponents are. Silva and Fedor are both gREAT in thheir own ways and comparing them is just stupid and impossible. Afflictions show was a big success last night. I am not saying that they profited off of last nights fight, because I am not privy to that Info, but there next show will be a success for sure. Arlosvki is one of the most beloved mma fighters of all time. He is a mega star in America and has loyal fans who stuck with him through 3 boring fights in a row: Cruz/werdum/Obrien….Now that his fans know that he is back to his scary sell, they will all purchase Afflictions 2nd show in October where I expect to see Arlovski vs. Barnett!

Also, Tito will probably sign wit Afliction and fight against Either Babalu or Nogueira. Tito is a bum, but he sells pay per views as good as any other fighter. Also there is a great chance that Afflition’s second show wil feature Couture vs. Fedor……….Which will become the most successful non uFC pay per view in the history of American MMA!
For a 1st show, I thinkk Affliction was a success last night. I expect the next show to be much better! I think it will take place in a cage, and I think the overall production willl be much better!

Affliction is here to stay Boys! ENJOY!

the referees at affliction need to learn how to work with rings, this stuff happened also in the early days of Pride, but they figured out how to stop it from happening, and the referee (along with a few outside/the/ring helpers need to hold the rope when ppl are laying against it). I still like the ring much more than the cage though, they both have pros and cons, but I think the ring has more pros than cons.

by linx on Jul 20, 2008 12:01 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Dudes,

They did not have a cage b/c Fedor likes to fight in a ring, and if you’re a promoter you give Fedor what he wants.

Let’s be honest here… the only chance anyone really has against Fedor is with cage tactics. No, I’m not saying Fedor will lose in a cage, just saying Randy for example goes from a 10% chance in a ring to 15% chance in a cage.

by TeamPriapism on Jul 20, 2008 12:03 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Maybe, but Fedor is a smart cat, who’s game is actually better suited for the Cage. Can u imagine his ground n pound, if he takes his opponent down, presses him up against the cage, and incorporates elbows to his ground n pound. He may kill someone!

by john on Jul 20, 2008 1:35 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I agree. Use the ring is for boxing.

by aplacencia on Jul 21, 2008 1:24 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Anderson Silva would deystroy fedor in a heavy weight fight.

by maurice on Jul 20, 2008 12:23 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I wouldn’t bet on that.

by c-war on Jul 20, 2008 12:43 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Tim Sylvia sucks, but no one has ever taken him apart as fast as Fedor did last night. That was unbelievable. Fedor vs Arlovski or Couture is like the only fight left for him. Who else is there? I actually would like to see Fedor vs Lesnar.

by c-war on Jul 20, 2008 12:48 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Arloski did the first time actually. Almost the same thing caught him early and submitted him as soon as Sylvia hit the mat.

by GSP4Prez on Jul 20, 2008 11:01 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I would not count out Randy just yet.He is a very smart fighter, he is not going to try to rush Fedor like Tim the idiot did.Remember Randy finished his fight with Gonzaga with a fractured forearm.I think if Randy fights his fight with Fedor the out come will be the same with captain america pulling it out in shocking fashion. As for Anderson Silva, there is not anyone in the UFC who has a chance, they need to make it a 2 on 1 fight just to make it competetive.

by Eric Allen on Jul 20, 2008 12:56 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

funny enough i was just thinking the same thing….Silva is a beast. 2 bad he doesn’t really want stay at 205, climb the ranks and fight the likes chuck, page, or his friend Machida. If he stays at MW he will be undefeated for a very long time. Maybe until he retires……

by Homslice on Jul 20, 2008 4:18 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Hell let him fight light heavyweights at 185, what is the point of bringing in middleweights that are just going to get ko,d in thirty seconds.Or why don’t they have open weight tourny’s anymore?

by Eric Allen on Jul 20, 2008 5:22 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Holy sh!t Fedor & The Spida looked phenomenal – against really good competition.

You can argue all you want about who’s better….they’re both bad dudes!
