Talented welterweight contender Karo Parisyan -- who UFC President recently referred to as a gatekeeper for the 170-pound division -- talks about the possibility of moving down to compete in the 155-pound lightweight division in a recent interview (he's not) ... and a lot more (Nate Diaz, how to maim people in street fights, etc.). "The Heat" will look to rebound from a technical knockout loss to Thiago Alves when he takes on Yoshiyuki Yoshida at UFC 88: "Breakthrough" on September 6.

I just read an interview with Karo today, where he basically says that eventually he wants to beat up Nate Diaz!I hope Nick reads it and snaps his Neck!
I would love to see someone grap pudgy Karo from his ove handles and Judo THrow his ass through the mat!

this is really pathetic! We hear from fighters all the time, that they have changed, and are finally starting to train the right way, and for the most part I excuse it and I believe it.
I call BS on Karo though….He has been saying that he is finally training the right way for the past 4 years. I remember when he 1st started the knock on him was he only relied on talent and he wasnt training right. after a couple of losses he moved to Extreme Couture and was supposedly finally training the right way…..and now again he is finally training the right way….F OFF!!!

Yeah man…Karo is no newbee to the UFC scene. Now after how many fights in the octagon..he re confirms howis is goign to take serious..it’s hard as a MMAfan to take that serious..come on el Karo..you where at one knocking the door for a UFC WW title shot..you slip on a banana..didn’t want Fitch like the LHW’s don’t want Machida..he wanted to fight a scrub to then say he derserves a shot..cus " You don’t know Who the F#$#$^#@#%&^$^%^ K I am ?? “..Karo is now a expert in Mexican Judo..” what ju don’t know " ( in a spanish accent )

karo has always been full of b.s. he was a tough opponent for anyone at one time, but his head (and love handles ) got to big. his judo used to set him apart, but it seems most have figured it out.

ive seen koscheck w/ some hot chicks on t.v(now thats saying something!). these guys are fairly famous, fairly welthy pro atheletes. so im sure most can get all kinds of pus$y. plus chicks dig fighters. if kos can get laid out of the deal, any other ufc fighter should as well.

This guy is too dumb to make it to the very top of the UFC. If girls was his big problem before, who the hell knows what it will be next. This guy has some good wins but seems extremely average to me. Diego man handled him, Thiago put him on queer street wondering which way he swung.

I liked the pace and fight Karo showed against Diego Sanchez. Even though he lost, that fight won fight of the year in 06 and showed a Karo that didn’t make excuses.

Karo is another natural who hasn’t taken things as seriously as he could have, since fighting comes fairly easy to him. He’s still young, so he’s got time to grow up and make a name for himself in this game. It took BJ Penn how many years to get his head on straight? Hopefully, Karo will buckle down and put everything he has into his career. He’s certainly not going to get past Fitch, Sanchez or GSP unless he does.

Karo is full of talent and full of shit. It’s time for you to grow up. We all know you were supposed to fight for the title, but now you have to earn it again instead of claiming you already earned it and fighting scrubs to move up. Some times you just have to grow up and mature and clearly Karo hasn’t done that yet.

He won’t fight at 155…he knows very well that if he dropped to fight at lightweight, his first fight would be against Nate Diaz.
He wants nothing to do with that fight ‘cause he’d have everything to lose and little to gain.
I’d love to see it though.
The di*k shouldn’t have got into Nate’s personal space. If he’d done it in Stockton, on the street, he’d be dead or in a wheelchair.
