Surgery never looks pretty…
I was very dissapointed to see Nick bleeding from his eye brow in his last fight against Cobbrey. I think it came from a headbutt, but Cobbrey did not get cut.
I have a bad feeling that this surgery isn’t going to help him out as much as we were all hoping it would. “We” as in all the Diaz fans on here.

I was waiting for someone to say something..I’m suprised no one has yet..
Pierce got finals-MVP, well deserved…All three KG, Ray and Paul played amazing!…7 three’s for Ray!..The C’s actually did it!..damn.
Im glad Boston won, instead of the Lakers…
Celtic’s better watch out next year!!..My Raptors are taking that Atlantic division back!

Mike, o yea. they looked unstoppable. even though i’m a laker fan, celtics had the better team. they’re going to take it next year again! i bet kevin is happy from his series bet.

how bout them celtics mike!! being a massachusetts native, it’s great to be a sports fan!
Nick didn’t only have plastic surgery, he had them file down his orbital bone because it was sharp and causing the cuts!

Yeah, the orbital bone is like your eyebrow bone right? Because I remember that he got his “eyebrow bone” filed down during the surgery as well. Anatomy is not my best subject, at least when it doesn’t come to the reproductive organs.

Nick Diaz has absolutely no respect for the sport and is a thug. Elite xc is the perfect place for him to fade away.

That seems very interesting, but what would stop fighters from having other parts of their bodies modified? What if I wanted sharper elbows, could the doctor scrape my bone into a more of a razors edge so that I would cut everybody? Or with the shin bones?

Umm, if you had a sharp bone, the first skin that it will cut is your own. Think about what yous just said.

but they wouldn’t stop a fight for a cut elbow…….well unless ur fighting Kimbo.

Damn!!thats nasty!…..
Glad he got his scar tissue removed though..He definitely needed to get that fixed.
He did bleed a little on the weekend, but it does seem like the surgery did good….

I keep telling him he has to moisturize. Man, fighting is making that dude ugly. He needs to just take the fight to the ground straight off. Who cares if the fans don’t like it?

The problem is that Diaz has been having a rather tought time getting mediocre (at best) fighters to the ground…

Really I’ve never noticed. That would explain things. He should go train with GSP. He’s Mr.Takedown.

doesnt anyone else find it kinda burnt you can just get plastic surgery to help you in a fight?? kinda like corking a bat…you could soup your hand up real nice if you keep in on the down low…what you think?
by newfie on Jun 18, 2008 10:56 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
He had a fight stopped because scar tissue over his eye opened up. He wasn’t rocked, wasn’t in any danger of getting KO’d. He was just bleeding. If a surgical procedure to remove the scar tissue so his eye doesn’t open up from a weak punch is available, then why not? All it does is put him on a level playing field with his opponent. How can you possibly compare that to souping up one’s hand?
by PW on Jun 18, 2008 11:35 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah and some people just don’t bleed. It has nothing to do with skill. BJ is like that right. I don’t remember him ever getting cut. Oleg Taktarov was a bleeder. I find it interesting that nick had the bone shaved down.
