“fighting each other on the same nite”
Well, it would be pretty hard to fight each on different nights.
Hehe, don’t mind me, I’m just being an ass!

Why was Rampage training at Extreme couture? TO see th video of that training session head over to DREAMFIGHTERS.com
by john on Jun 5, 2008 1:39 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
why wouldnt you? didnt you know? griffin and rampage were sparring partners at extreme couture…so who ever wins this title fight can stay cahmpion and theo ther will stay 1 contender…kinda like if anderson silva and rich franklin started a camp together…dude that would suck ballz! for everyone else.

Randy is good friends with Rampage (and a lot of other fighters who aren’t official members of his gym). He pretty much has an open door policy at his gym. It’s not like Forrest is there at the same time as Rampage. They’re just using the same facilities.

Rampage is the man. He’s one of my favorite fighters because the guy has fun all of the time. So many fighters are so serious and up tight but Rampage is like a big kid but it’s like he turns into another person when he is on his way to the octagon. I never heard that he had a wrist injury when he fought Liddell. Pretty impressive. Forrest better hope that Rampage gets injured or something because I just don’t see him getting out of the secon round.

It’s been a long time since I first seen Page fight Sakuraba in Pride till to now. He’s the man.
by PhilQNY on Jun 5, 2008 1:39 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
That fight was so awesome..
It was rampage’s first fight in Pride. He defended so many submission attempts from Sakurabe, until he finally got caught.
If they rematch, Rampage would own him.
by Anonymousf*ck on Jun 5, 2008 2:04 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Well, yeah, but you have to take into account how badly Sakuraba has been fed to the dogs.

This guy is hilarious, usualy jimmy kimmel makes fun of guests and plays around, but in this case he didn’t even try to make fun of Rampage

Rampage was very relaxed, created a good vibe, I think Kimmel probably watches MMA, because he seemed enthralled by it.

Rampage is the man. Griffin doesn’t have a prayer. I’d be surprised to see it go past 2.

He’s going to smash Forrest. I hope he holds that belt for a loooong time, especially now that he’s already done TUF, if he holds the strap longer he’ll hopefully have more fights. Hate waiting like a year to see my favorite fighter actually get in the cage.

How did their first fight when Dana brought Chuck over to Pride end? I know Rampage won, but was it by TKO, KO or what?
by chefdaddy on Jun 6, 2008 7:59 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Chuck’s corner threw in the towel cause he seemed winded and over-matched. I hope Jackson and Wanderlei get matched, that would be an epic fight! For those who don’t know, Wanderlei KO’d him TWIIICE!

by matthew on Jun 5, 2008 2:40 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Rampage had me in stitches! That was some funny stuff!
Sooooo looking forward to his fight with Griffin.
And yes, Rampage as BA would be classic!

Rampage is probably the only Fighter that could do his own standup comedy and have a chance of success.
he is funny as hell.

been a fan since he slammed Arona on his head… He’d make a great B.A. Barackus…TWICE

Hopefully after he lays Forrest to rest we will get to see Wanderlei Vs. Page 3. I think if Wanderlei beats one more legitamite opponent then the fight will happen. That would me such a marketable main event for the UFC. I like Rampage and I think he has a chance now but I would have to pull for my boy Wanderlei!

Great interview! Rampage was hilarious.
No doubt he’ll become even bigger amongst newer fans when they see him in interviews as he comes across as a great guy, as he no doubt is. Hopefully the newer fans get to see his 1st fight with Chuck as that shows how great his standup really is as opposed to the 2nd where it was impressive but the newer fans didn’t really see how he can manhandle chuck liddell.
by Xad on Jun 5, 2008 5:39 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
As many have already said, great interview Rampage is great. The UFC is making a mistake not capitalizing on him more. I know he is on TUF and all but push him half as much as they did Chuck and he will just explode into the mainstream.
*Interesting that he was wearing an Affliction shirt, UFC can’t be too happy about that.
by E Rock on Jun 5, 2008 6:06 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Some of these fighters are sponsored by Affliction like Chuck, GSP, and Rampage so I don’t think there is much they can do about it. After all, it was a clothing line before this fight card.

Rampage is starting to grow on me…Hes a pretty respectful guy giving props to Chuck when he could have trash talked him easily after TKO and KOing him in 2 fights. I think he beats Forrest by the 2nd round

I really wouldn’t mind rampage having like a 3 year reign as champion because hes hell of funny and very marketable. But 205 is stacked so its gonna be hard. I can see him loosing the belt and then getting it back a few times.
by Emanuel0523 on Jun 6, 2008 12:35 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I agree. I think he will smash Forrest, but I don’t see him holding that belt as long as Chuck had it. There are a few matches that are gonna be tough for him, and Wandy is certainly one of them.
by naturalshadow on Jun 6, 2008 12:59 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
i think forrest rampage will go all 5 and be better than bonnar and griffins fight, but they’d make one hell of a comedy team
by randy murders on Jun 6, 2008 1:43 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
rampage has got to be one of the coolest people around. hope he gets to go on conan too.
by jack on Jun 6, 2008 4:05 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I think if Forrest can get out of the first round, we’ll have a good fight. He is typically a slow starter, and Rampage brings it, so if he is able to weather the first round storm… I still think Rampage will win, but I think it’ll be a good fight if it goes past the first.
