PRIDE 34 DVD 'Kamikaze'

PRIDE FC continues its return to DVD with today's release of PRIDE 34: Kamikaze.
The staff at MMAmania.com spoke directly with the distributor who has confirmed that a total of 12 PRIDE FC DVD’s are being released over the next 18 months. In addition to Kamikaze, PRIDE 33: Second Coming is scheduled for release on June 9.
Zuffa — the parent company of the Ultimate Fighting Championship — purchased the Japanese mixed martial arts promotion (and its biggest rival) early last year. With no television deal and most of its top fighters signing UFC contracts, the entity known as PRIDE became no more.
Now fans will have an opportunity to relive the glory days on DVD. MMAmania.com will preview each disc as its title and release date become available.
In the meantime, here’s a quick peek at PRIDE 34: Kamikaze:

Mania I don’t know if this has been stated anywhere yet but my wife is watching the mole right now on abc. I think it’s the first show of the season. Anyways I looked up and saw Ali Sonoma as a cast member. Not ground breaking news but I thought it was interesting.

Yeah this was one of the weaker events, still I must add it to the collection!

One of their least star studded events ever, possibly THE least. Jeff Monson gets a lot more love over in Japan than he does in the USA.
PRIDE 33 was loaded with star power. Besides Fedor, Gomi, and Big Nog they had just about every BIG name on that card.

Yes, Soko beat Arona…
I lost some money that night…actually it was 250 if I remember correct..
Soko was coming of a HUGE win over little Nog and I thought all the pressure Soko was carrying to perform well, would allow the talented(technical) skill’s of Arona to grind out a decision against’s the crazy judo fighter that just KO’d a Nog… but Soko landed a beautiful upper-cut…oh well, I have won alot of money off MMa fights over the years, and losing here and there doesn’t bother me…
here is the fight, if you have never seen it?
